Nowadays, engine uses brake boosting for improvement brake performance. Atmospheric pressure and intake pressure are used for brake boosting, so brake boosting is a important factor in modeling brake system. There are several researches for prediction of brake performance, but researches for intake manifold pressure isn’t studied yet. Therefore in this study, the behavior of Intake manifold pressure by driving condition such as engine speed, temperature, accessories loss is analyzed using experimental method and Simulation model to predict intake manifold pressure is constructed. Engineers can expect reduction of time for performance and the cost if this simulation is used to design brake boosting system.
