제대혈 내 Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 농도와 제대염의 연관성

Objective: Intrauterine inflammation (IUI) is a leading cause of preterm delivery. Although matrix metalloproteinase8 (MMP8) and intercellular adhesion molecule1 (ICAM1) are known to be related with IUI, it has not been fully elucidated whether MMP9 or ICAM3 is associated with IUI. We performed this study to determine whether the levels of tumor necrosis factoralpha (TNFα), MMP9 and ICAM3 in umbilical cord blood of preterm infants are associated with chorioamnionitis, funisitis or bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Methods: Eightytwo pairs of pregnant women and their preterm newborns <35 weeks gestation were enrolled. Levels of TNFα, MMP9 and ICAM3 in umbilical cord blood were measured using immunoassays and compared with results of histological examination of placenta and clinical data of the study participants. Results: The level of MMP9 in umbilical cord blood was significantly associated with the presence of funisitis (P=0.007). The level of TNFα in umbilical cord blood was significantly associated with the development of bronchopulmonary dysplasia ( P=0.030). However, presence of chorioamnionitis or funisitis was not associated with development of bronchopulmonary dysplasia. With the establishment of receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, the best cutoff value for umbilical blood MMP9 was 99.42 pg/mL in identification of funisitis. The area under a constructed ROC curve for prediction of funisitis was 0.847 (standard error, 0.112; 95% confidence interval, 0.7500.917). Conclusion: Measurement of MMP9 concentration in umbilical cord blood may be an alternative way to predict whether a preterm infant has been exposed to IUI. Further study with larger numbers of subjects will be necessary to elucidate the association between the presence of IUI and neonatal adverse outcome.

Rudimentary horn is a rare uterine anomaly and pregnancy in the rudimentary horn is an extremely rare condition. We report a case of live birth in a non-communicating rudimentary horn pregnancy and rupture. The pregnancy was successfully delivered by cesarean section, with neonatal and maternal survival.

체질성 8삼염색체 모자이시즘은 비교적 드문 염색체 이상으로 특이한 두개안면 모양 (변형 두개골, 돌출된 이마, 낮거나 변형된 귀), 골격계 기형, 심장 기형, 신장 기형, 잠복고환, 다양한 정도의 발달지체 등의 특징적인 표현형을 갖는다. 그 표현형과 세포유전학적 표현의 다양성 때문에 특정 질환이 생기기 전까지 진단이 늦어지기도 한다. 전형적인 표현형 없이 속발성 무월경을 동반한 28세 여성에서 발견된 체질성 8삼염색체 모자이시즘(47,XX,+8[9]/46,XX[41])을 보고한다. Constitutional trisomy 8 mosaicism (CT8M) is a relatively rare aneuploidy in humans with characteristic phenotypes including typical craniofacial feature (such as deformed skull, prominent forehead, low-set and/or dysplastic ears), skeletal malformation, cardiac anomaly, renal malformation, cryptochidism, varying degree of developemental delay. Due to the extremely variable phenotypic and cytogenetic expression, CT8M has gone undiagnosed in certain patients. We report a 28-year-old women with secondary amenorreha without characteristic CT8M phenotype. Chromosomal analysis showed a CT8M (47,XX,+8[9]/46,XX[41]).

소음기는 소음 발생 기계의 배출소음을 줄이기 위하여 사용되는 음향학적 기구를 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 석유화학공장에 설치된 산업용 송풍기(industrial blower) 소음기의 성능 향상을 목표로 소음기의 성능 개선에 대해 연구하였다. 본 연구에 이용된 송풍기 소음기는 머플러형(muffler type)의 소음기이며, 성능을 향상시키기 위해 내부구조(buff의 형상, 위치, 배열, 갯수 등)의 최적조건을 실험적인 방법으로 찾았다. 본 연구결과를 기초로 제작한 실험용 소음기의 소음저감효과를 실내에서의 평가한 결과, 약 14dB(또는 18dB(A))의 소음레벨을 저감시킬 수 있었고, 실제 현장에 설치하여 평가한 결과, 종래의 소음기에 비해 약 4dB(A) 이상의 소음레벨을 더 저감시킬 수 있었다. Silencers are engineered devices that are designed to attenuate sound waves propagating in a flowing medium. The muffler type silencer has a series of chambers in parallel or series utilizing the reflection and expansion characteristics of the expansion chambers, sidetubes, branch resonators, and tailpipes to attenuate the sound. This paper studies performance improvement of industrial blower silencer in petrochemical plant. Industrial blower silencer is muffler type and optimal arrangements of buff for performance improvement of industrial blower silencer are seek by experimental method. Experimental results, noise level reduce 14 dB(or 18 dB(A)) in the laboratory and more 4 dB(A) than the existing silencer on the ground.

Anaerobic digestion with stillage from Naked Barley in distillary is experimented by adjustment of Retention time and organic matter concentration., the results are as follows; 1. In the research using original stillage, more stable stationary phase of pH, COD and V.F.A is obtained, as the retention time runs longer. 2. When the organic concentrations are changed, stable anaerobic digestion state is obtained asthe concentrations are getting lower, and the same as the reseasch on original stillage asthe retention time become longer. 3. In the case of centrifuged stillage research the most ideal Anaerobic digestion up to the 100 day's operation time is obtained. 4. In the research where both retention time and organic concentrations are changed if the anaerobic digestion troubles, volatile fatty acid(V.F.A) is rapidly accumulated over 2,000㎎/ℓ, as a result, pH tends to decrease. 5. When V.F.A is over 2,000㎎/ℓ, though alkalinity is more than 41,000㎎/ℓ, pH falls because of break down of the buffer capacity. 6. Alkalinity and NH₃-N has propotional relation. 7. The producted amount of methane gas is 30∼47 m³/ m³. day, 28 m³/ m³. day, 24∼26 m³/ m³. day, 28 m³/ m³. day, when supplied stillage's COD is 38,000mg/l, 22,600mg/l, 17,000mg/l, 25,700mg/l, (centrifuged stillage) respectively.

A study has been conducted for the coagulation characteristics of suspended solid made up of kaolin using Al-based inorganic coagulants ; Alum (Aluminium Sulfate) and PAC(Poly Aluminium Choloride). PAC was found to be superior to Alum in its coagulating ability almost 1.3 time as much. The variation of ζ-potential of suspended particles in the sign and magnitude was closely related to the turbidity removal behavior. When a same amount of coagulant was dosed in partition to supernatant water of one time treated wastewater, the final turbidity of two time treated suspernatant water showed a lower value compared with the case that all amount of coagulant was dosed at one time.
