        양식 향어의 행동에 미치는 발파작업 소음의 영향에 관한 연구

        This paper described the relationship between the behavior of the Israeli carp, Cyprinus carpio and the environmental noise level due to the dynamite explosion work. The experiment was conducted in the cage (L10×W4×D4m) of aquaculture located at Chungjoo Lake, Chechon, in 1997. The fish trajectory was obtained by the telemetry system in which a pulsed ultrasonic pinger (50㎑, Φ16×L70㎜) attached to the fish was tracked three dimensionally, and the underwater noise levels were measured. The results of the study were as follows: 1. The underwater noise levels in the normal blasting measured at a distance of 400m from the source of noise increased by 40㏈ (re 1μ㎩) compared to the levels before explosion. The dominant frequency and the increased power spectrum level of the underwater noise by the explosion work were 75 to 100㎐ and 22.9 to 35.3㏈, respectively. 2. The underwater noise levels in the test blasting measured at a distance of 350m from the source of noise increased by average 49.5㏈ (re 1 μ㎩) compared to the levels before explosion. 3. The swimming area of the fish was reduced with the time after explosion, and after more than one hour the fish represented the similar swimming area and behavior to the status of right before explosion. 4. The swimming depth layer of the fish was most of the case at the sea surface less than 1.0m except during explosion or right after of it. But the fish swam downward when an external stimulus like the explosion noise was given to the fish. 5. The average swimming speeds of the fish before, during and after the works were about 1.2 times, 1.9 times and 1.0 times of the body length, respectively, and the speed of the fish with explosion was faster 1.6 times than the speed without of that. Consequently, the explosion noise levels measured by this study were sufficiently high to affect the fish, and the heavy shock by the explosion works could produce a considerable unfavorable effects to the fish.

        양식 가물치 (Channa argus)의 행동에 미치는 파일작업 소음의 영향에 관한 연구

        공사 소음이 공사장 주변의 양식 가물치(체장 44cm)의 유영행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 조사하기 위하여 1993년 9월 12일 경기도 평택시 신대리의 아산호 부근에 위치한 육상 양어장에서 파일작업전과 파일 작업중의 소음 레벨과 진동을 측정하고, 바이오텔레메트리 기법을 사용하여 유영행동을 측정하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 파일작업중 소음원으로부터 약 90m의 거리에서 측정한 수중 소음 레벨, 공중 소음 레벨 및 진동변위는 파일 작업전에 비하여 각각 36.5dB(re 1μPa), 23dB(re 0.0002μbar) 및 5.9μm로 증가하였다. 2) 유영속도의 변화 폭은 자극을 가한 초기에 크고, 자극이 계속되면 그 변동 폭은 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 활동량은 야간 보다 주간이 많고, 심한 자극을 받으면 상하운동을 많이 하며 양어장 바닥의 진흙 속으로 도피하는 경우도 있음을 알 수 있었다. 3) 파일작업중의 평균 유영속도는 0.50m/sec (체장대비 1.1배), 파일작업이 없을 때의 평균 유영속도는 0.36m/sec(체장대비 0.8배)이었으며, 파일작업중의 가물치의 평균 속도가 파일작업이 없을 때에 비하여 약 1.4배 빠른 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 소음이나 진동으로 인한 자극은 가물치의 생태에 상당한 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다. This paper describes the relationship between the behavior of the snakehead (Channa argus) of 44cm long and the environmental noise levels due to the piling work. The experiment is conducted in the aquafarm located near Asan lake, Pyongtaek in 1993. The fish trajectory is obtained by a biotelemetry system in which a pulsed ultrasonic pinger attached onto the dorsal is tracked three dimensionally, and the noise and the vibration levels both in air and in water are measured. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The noise levels in water and in air and the vibration level measured at a distance of 90m from the noise source, increased by 36.5dB (re 1μPa), 23dB (re 0.0002μbar) and 5.9μm repectively compared to the levels before piling. 2) The highest variation of the swimming speed was observed right after the piling works and the width of variation decreased with the elapsed time. The average speeds of the fish before and during the works were measured as 0.8 times and 1.1 times of the body length, respectively. 3) It is found that the fish escapes into the mud of the aquafarm when a heavy shock wave occurred. Consequently, the heavy shock by the piling works could produce a considerably unfavorable effect to the fish.

        음향 텔레메트리 기법에 의한 인공어초 지역에서의 조피볼락의 이동범위 및 일주행동 측정

        N/A The movement ranges and diurnal behavior of the rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli) sonic tagged externally were measured by the acoustic telemetry in the marine ranching area of Tongyoung on 20 to 26 March and 4 October to 3 November, 2003. The results of study are as follows: 1. Two cage cultured fishes (body length: 30-34 cm) were released the point where located approximately 250 m from the caught point on 30 March, 2003. They moved to the south 500 m away Sojangdudo and stayed within a 500 m radius of the position during the study. 2. Three wild fishes (body length: 28-32 cm) were released around the caught point on 4 and 8 October, 2003. It was often measured that tagged fishes moved out the 500 m radius of released point for a week after release. After several days, the movement range tended to be reduced. Finally, they stayed within the 250 m radius of released point. 3. There was no significant difference of diurnal behavior of the rockfish between the cage cultured and the wild fishes. The movement range, however, for the night-time was a little wider than for the day-time.

        진해만 입구에 방류한 대구(Gadus macrocephalus )의 행동 분석

        In order to investigate the behavioral characteristics of Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus) released at the entrance of Jinhae Bay, Korea, the direction and range of movement, swimming speed of the fish were measured with an acoustic telemetry techniques in winter, 2015. Three wild Pacific codes WC1 to WC3 (total length 66.0, 75.0, 76.0 cm; body weight 2.84, 2.79, 3.47 kg, respectively) were tagged with the acoustic transmitter. WC1 tagged with an acoustic transmitter internally by surgical method, WC2 and WC3, externally with the acoustic data logger and a micro data logger for recording audible sound waves including timer release unit. The movement routes of the tagged fish were measured more than five hours using VR100 receiver and a directional hydrophone. The directionality of the fish movement was tested by Rayleigh’s z-Test, the statistical analysis, and a statistical program SPSS. Three tagged fishes were individually released on the sea surface around the entrance to the Jinhae Bay on 10 to 24 January 2015. WC1 moved about 13.32 km with average swimming speed of 0.63 m/s for six hours. The average swimming depth and water depth of the seabed on the route of WC1 were 7.2 and 32.9 m, respectively. The movement range of WC2 and WC3 were 7.95 and 11.06 km, approximately, with average swimming speed of 0.44 and 0.58 m/s for 5.1 and 5.3 hours, respectively. The average swimming depth of WC2 and WC3 were 18.7 and 5.0 m, and the water depth on the route, 34.4 and 29.8 m, respectively. Three fishes WC1 to WC3 were shown significant directionality in the movement (p < 0.05). Movement mean angles of WC1 to WC3 were 77.7, 76.3 and 88.1°, respectively. There was no significant correlation between the movement direction of fish (WC1 and WC2) and the tidal currents during the experimental period (p >= 0.05). Consequently, three tagged fishes were commonly moved toward outside of the entrance and headed for eastward of the Korean Peninsula, approximately, after release. It may estimate positively that the tidal current speed may affect to the swimming speed of the Pacific cod during the spring tide than the neap tide.

        N/A The movement range and diurnal behavior of red seabream (Chrysophrys major) tagged by the ultrasonic pinger externally were measured by acoustic telemetry techniques in the marine ranch of Tongyeong on 20 March to 30 October, 2003. The movement of fishes was monitored with the radio-acoustic linked positioning (RAP) buoy system and VR2 receivers. The test fishes showed behavior pattern going to deep waters and returning to shallow waters. They moved gradually to deep waters as time goes by. They had a tendency to move wider range in night-time than day-time. It was found that the test fishes rarely showed a significant response to the artificial reefs.

        볼락(Sebastes inermis)치어의 성장에 미치는 LED 광파장의 영향

        Experiments designed to measure the effect of LED (light.emitting diode) light wavelength on the growth of fingerling rockfishes (Sebastes inermis) were conducted. Fingerling rockfishes (average body weight of individual: 1.13g) were divided into two groups by wavelength of the LED light [light power: 1,620 mW; wavelength: 518 nm (green color), 622 nm (redcolor)]. Triplicate groups of 180 individuals were reared over 7 weeks. Lighting duration was 14 hours from 06:00 to 20:00. A water tank exposed on the natural light in a room through the windows was used as a control. At results of the first experiment [initial average body weight (BW) of individual: 1.13 g; standard deviation (SD): 0.13 g], the final individualBW exposed on the green color was increased 0.39 g than the red color, and decreased 0.12 g than the natural light in the room. At results of the second (initial individual BW: 5.07 g; SD: 0.70 g) and the third experiment (initial individual BW: 10.67 g; SD: 0.67 g), the final individual BW exposed on the green color was increased 1.07 g and 2.55 g than the red color, respectively, and increased 0.57 g and 0.84 g than the natural light, respectively. The relative growth rate of the green color was higher about 8% significantly (p<0.05) than the natural light. In the case of the red color the relative growth rate was lower significantly (p<0.05) than the natural light.
