With great advancement of the automobile functions, environmental factors become important performances, especially noise. This paper investigates noise sources of outer rotor type BLDC motor using in the air-conditioner of the automobiles. To this end, this paper is analyzed two viewpoints, structural and electromagnetic causes. Structural analysis is conducted through modal test and analysis. For modal analysis, 3D finite element analysis is carried out using commercial program ansys. Electromagnetic causes are analyzed from local force that is computed by Maxwell stress tensor method. Local force excites structure of motor directly. Finally, correlation analysis is performed to determine effect between noise causes.

In this study, to obtain basic data for the shape design of the safety plate that is used in the battery section of underwater vehicle, we carried out the structure analysis and pressure tests about it. The safety plate is the important part that prevents the breakage of a underwater moving body by the pressure increase inside that. The safety plate must holds pressure outside and inside of a moving body and clear up pressure increase by the burning of a battery section inside it. So, to design the shape of a safety plate is satisfied these conditions, we carried out structure analysis and pressure tests and designed and applied these results to the shape design of the safety plate these results.

Conventionally, the static angle of attack and static elevator tests are carried out separately to estimate hydrodynamic stability derivatives of underwater vehicles. However, it is difficult to verify the interaction between the angle of attack and elevator angle in such cases. In this study, we perform a static elevator with angle of attack test where both the angle of attack and elevator angle are varied simultaneously. The experimental results show that the angle of attack has an influence on the elevator control force and that this tendency is dependent on the sense in which the angle of attack and elevator angle are varied. We predict level flight performance using hydrodynamic derivatives estimated through this experiment. The predictions considering the effect of angle of attack show good agreement with trials conducted in the open sea.

The destruction aspect of the materials appears differently depending on the behavior of load acting on the materials. Otherwise, the behavior of materials on the static load is different from the behavior of materials on the impact load. In this study, the variation in maximum shearing stress of copper shear pin depending on the shearing rate is researched. The input velocity of shear load goes increase, but the initial and last shearing rate are constant within a cycle of all. The pre-analysis has been proceeded using the method of explicit dynamic analysis which are Ansys and Autodyn. And then, the experimental shearing performance research has proceeded to confirm these phenomena.

The liquid-cooling system, one of the cooling methods for electronic devices, can provide the constant temperature cool air without being influenced by the surrounding conditions. In this paper, we will study the liquid-cooling system which is used in inboard equipments of the underwater vehicle. And we'll also propose the techniques how to design the liquid-cooling system and how to test the equipment.
초소수성 특성을 갖는 다중 구리관의 응축 열전달에 관한 시각화 실험 연구

The purpose of this research is to improve the condensation heat transfer performance for improving the efficiency of the condenser. And the research for the improvement of condensation heat transfer performance was conducted by using the hydrophobic coated tubes. In this research, a thermoelectric device called Thermal Electric Cooler (TEC) was used to solve the complexity and the size of the experimental devices, which are the problems of the existing research. The research on the hydrophobic multi-tube and the droplet behavior between the tubes, which were not conducted in the previous research, was conducted. And the heat transfer coefficient and the droplet behavior of hydrophobic tubes was analyzed and compared with those of the bare copper tubes. As a result of the analysis, it can be seen that the hydrophobic coated tube has better heat transfer performance than the bare copper tube. It is predicted that the use of superhydrophobic will solve the energy efficiency problem.
