        농업용 편이장비의 사용현황과 성과분석

        The rural development administration started supplying equipment for convenience to the farm area since 2008 as part of the improving the farm work environment. A survey was conducted to the 286 farms in Gyungbuk province for analyzing the usage status and effectiveness of convenience equipment among 3,308 farms supplied until year 2011. From the survey, it was found that the average age of the convenience equipment user age is 56.9. The elderly as well as women farmers used the equipment for work, relieving the labor shortage. Reduced physical loads (posture, dealing with heavy objects, etc.) resulted in the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Regarding the evaluation of equipment, 37% experienced equipment problems, inconvenience in operating and manipulating the equipment, and other issues regarding human body size, noise and vibration. 56% of the users were satisfied. There is a need for research in the areas of part reliability, usability, and in manufacturing better equipment for convenience.

        섬유표백 및 염색업종의 재해발생 현황과 예방대책

        During the 1960`s through the 1970`s the bleaching and dyeing industry was the foundation of the industrial development of Korea as well as being the main industry of the Daegu area. Nowadays, the industry has declined and only small shops are still operating. In this study the status of the bleaching and dyeing industry and tendencies of industrial accidents in during 2002 to 2008 in the Daegu area has been conducted. The results indicate the number of shops and workers have both declined but the accident rate has increased slightly from 1.03% in 2002 to 1.26% in 2008. The cause for the slight increase in the accident rate was due to aged equipment, hazardous working conditions, and aging work force. The type of equipment related to the accidents were dyeing machines, rotary washers, and tenter. The type of accidents were dyeing machines, rotary washers, and tenter. The type of accidents were jamming, electrical shock, and collisions. When the shop size was classified in to groups of over 50 or under 50 workers, the accident rate of smaller shops were higher. The caused of accidents and a number of preventive actions to be taken are suggested in this study.

        기계설비(부품포함) 제조업의 산업재해 특성과 대책의 고찰

        The following results on the causes of industrial accidents and preventive measures in the machinery manufacturing industry(including parts) could be derived, based on the records between 2008 and 2012 of the Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency. During the past 5 years, the overall average of industrial accidents in Korea was 0.67%. In the manufacturing industry it was 0.96%, and in the machinery manufacturing industry(including parts) a surprising 1.54%. The reason that the accident rate is so high is because in the machine manufacturing industry, manual work rate on a unit equipment is high and shops which have less than 50 workers make up 97.6% of all factories. Industrial accidents have been classified into 25 different categories and 40.8% were caused by wrapping and jamming, making it the major category to take preventive measures. Hazardous machines which cause frequent accidents include presses, shears, cranes, and robots(machine tools). Some workers are aware of operating procedures to use the machinery safely but they frequently ignore the procedure. The main reasons for ignoring the procedure are due to cutting costs, meeting shipment dates, and working conditions.

        실시간 운전 특성 모니터링 시스템을 위한 차량 환경 개발

        There has been recent interest in intelligent vehicle technologies, such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADASs) or in-vehicle information systems (IVISs) that offer a significant enhancement of safety and convenience to drivers and passengers. However, unsuitable design of HMI (Human Machine Interface) must increase driver distraction and workload, which in turn increase the chance of traffic accidents. Distraction in particular often occurs under a heavy driving workload due to multitasking with various electronic devices like a cell phone or a navigation system while driving. According to the 2005 road traffic accidents in Korea report published by the Road Traffic Authority (ROTA), more than 60% of the traffic accidents are related to driver error caused by distraction. This paper suggests the structure of vehicle environment for real-time driving behavior monitoring system while driving which is can be used the driver workload management systems (DWMS). On-road experiment results showed the feasibility of the suggested vehicle environment for driving behavior monitoring system.

      • A Dynamic Programming Approach to Optimal Order Processing in an Automated Storage and Retrieval System

        本 硏究는 自動創庫시스템에서 在庫品目의 拂出 및 貯藏을 동시에 處理하는 문제를 다룬다. 이 문제는 拂出裝置(S/R Machine)가 在庫品目을 貯藏하거나 拂出하는데 소요되는 총 移動시간을 最小로 하는 經路를 찾는 것으로 정의되고, 전통적인 販賣員 문제(TSP)에 拂出裝置의 用量에 關한 制約式이 추가된 형태로 定型化되었다. 販賣員 문제의 한 解法인 動的計劃法을 수정하여 本 문제의 最適解를 求할 수 있음을 보였고, IBM PC/XT 를 利用하여 푼 計算例를 제시하였다. This paper deals with order processing problem of determining optimal route of the storage/retrieval(S/R) machine in an automated warehousing system where both the storage and retrieval of items are performed simultaneously in one tour of the machine. The problem is formulated as the form of classical traveling salesman problem with additional constraints. The dynamic programming method of Held and Karp is then extended to solve the formulated model. Some computational results are reported.

        The research is carried out to remove unnecessary and unreasonable Factors in work. To improve work it is easy to find the following work sequence : 1) understanding of the situation, 2) pursuit of goal, 3) aim, 4) conception, 5) judgement, and 6) suggestion. Especially the fourth step, conception, is the main point in solving the problem. So the author would like to suggest ways of conception as 1) exclusion, 2) opposition, 3) arrangement, 4) quality, 5) combination, 6) frequency, 7) common items, and 8) complement.

      • 身體障碍者의 重心動搖特性에 관한 연구

        In this paper, the postural sway was meassured as a way quantifying severity of illness of the apraxia Patient. The distance of trace is calculated using the postural sway, and spectrum analysis was done on the rolling trace of the directions of forth-and-back and left-and-right. The results of the distance of trace show that the distance of trace shorter for groups of the disabled who reveal low severity of illness(low-severity group) than that for the high-severity group. The distance of trace for low-severity group was similar to those for the normal. The results of spectrum analysis show that there are two to three types of periods which are not present in the case of normals. These types of periods may be considered the rolling trace characteristic of the disabled. Also, it is found that the amplitudes for the low-severity group were smaller. In summary, methods employed in this paper can be a workable way of quantifying the severity of illness of the apraxia patient.

        This article is concerned with comparative patterns of traffic accident between urban and rural area, centering around Deagu city and Kyungbuk Province. Through a data sheet, total of 6,018 records for traffic accidents occured from Jan. through April in 1982 is collected and analyzed. And then characteristics of traffic accident patterns are carefully examined and compared. Some suggestions concerning traffic problems are also made.
