        관절각도에 따른 근 피로도와 등척성 훈련 전이효과

        This study examined whether there is a transfer effect to other joint angles and the angular specificity of muscle fatigue after 6 weeks of isometric training of the vastus medialis. Twenty subjects were randomly assigned to 30° and 90° knee flexion groups and were trained at 80% maximal voluntary isometric contraction(MVIC) three times a week for 6 weeks. The pre-and post-training values of the 80% holding time(endurance time) of MVIC, the Fatigue Index(FI), and the MVIC at 30°, 60°, and 90° were compared. After isometric training for 6 weeks, in the 30° knee flexion group, FI decreased significantly(p<0.05) only at 30°, which was the training angle; there was no change at other angles. By contrast, in the 90° knee flexion group, FI decreased significantly(p<0.05) at both the trained angle and at the other angles, indicating a transfer effect of training. MVIC did not increase significantly(p<0.05) at any trained angle in either the 30° or 90° knee flexion groups after 6 weeks of isometric training, neither did the 80% holding time of MVIC differ significantly compared with pre-training in either group. These findings suggest that training at 90° of knee flexion is more effective than training at 30° of knee flexion for obtaining a training transfer effect on muscle fatigue in the vastus medialis.

        대학도서관을 위한 유료정보서비스 프로그램에 관한 연구

        이 논문은 재정적인 문제를 해결하고 외부이용자에게까지 서비스를 확대할 수 있는 방안의 하나로 대학도서관을 위한 유료정보서비스 프로그램을 구체적으로 제시하였다. 내용으로는 현재 대학도서관들이 제공하는 정보서비스, 유료정보서비스 프로그램의 목표, 자료 형태 및 주제 범위, 조직 및 직원, 종류, 운영방법 등을 구체적으로 다루었다. Unlike the past, university libraries are able to provide specialized and differentiated information services due to the advent of information technology and telecommunication. Such services are essential not only to the primary users, such as professors and students in the universities, but also to the external users including corporations, researchers, and the general public. Now, university libraries as a means of resource sharing with communities should develop the services to play a role as a research and information center and expand such services to outside users who need the information services. Accordingly financial support is a necessity to provide the services, thereby fee-based information services are one of the devices for solving the financial burden and controlling outside users. This paper tries to present a program for fee-based information services which are able to be implemented by university libraries. Also the papers deals with the present conditions of fee-based information services provided by university libraries briefly and the goals of the program; coverage of subjects and types of materials for the program; organizations and staff; types of fee-based information services; management methods of program.

        계절적인 강우와 기온의 변화에 따른 동물플랑크톤의 반응 종에 관한 연구

        Response-species of zooplankton on precipitation and temperature were investigated in the tributaries of Han River from May to November, 2002. Total 42 species (Rotifer twenty three species, Cladocera ten species, Copepoda eight species and Protozoa one species) were collected in the target location. The highest abundance and the number of species were observed in May. Due to the summer precipitation the abundance of Rotifer and Cladocera were largely decreased in August. Dominant species of Rotifer appeared Brachionus urceolaris, Euclanis dilatata, Lecane luna, Brachionus quadridentatus and Brachionus calyciflorus in May, Monostyla bulla and Conochilus unicornis in August and Brachionus quadridentatus, Euclanis dilatata and Lecane luna in November. Also, the dominant species of Cladocera were Moina weismanni, Simocephalus vetulus, Scapholebris mucronata, in August, Chydorus sphaericus and Alona rectangular in November. Nearest neighbour clustering was implemented for classification of zooplankton abundance in different month of survey locations. The patterning of May and November appeared similar but August was different.

        발달지체 영아의 선별에 대한 보육교사의 인식 및 실태와 요구분석

        발달에 문제가 있는 영아를 조기에 발견하고 이들에 대한 적합한 지원을 빠르게 제공하는 것은 영아기라는 발달기의 특성상 중요하다. 본 연구는 발달지체 영아를 보육중인 영아반 보육교사와의 면담을 통해 영아기 발달지체에 대한 보육교사의 인식, 선별 과정, 지원 실태, 요구를 알아보고자 질적면담을 시행하였다. 서울시 노원구와 중랑구, 도봉구 지역의 민간·가정어린이집 영아반 보육교사 중, 발달지체 영아를 보육중인 교사 12명이 면담에 참여하였다. 면담 내용 분석 결과, 교사들은 첫째, 사회·정서, 의사소통, 인지, 적응행동 등 발달 영역 전반에서 발달지체 양상을 보고하였다. 둘째, 발달지체 영아에 대해 주로 관찰법으로 선별하였으며 체계적, 객관적 선별도구 사용 경험은 거의 없었다. 셋째, 영아의 발달지체에 대해 입소 초기부터 인식하였으나 낙관적으로 수용하였고, 발달지체 진단을 회피하려는 경향을 보였다. 넷째, 발달지체 선별 후 반복설명하기, 과제 난이도 조절하기, 가정 내 지도방법 제시 등으로 영아와 부모를 개별지원 하였다. 다섯째, 발달지체 영아 지원 시 영아기 발달 및 발달지체에 대한 전문지식의 부족, 부모상담의 미숙, 관련자원의 부족 등 어려움을 경험하였다. 여섯째, 발달지체 영아의 선별과 조기개입을 위해 교사교육, 부모교육, 영유아 건강 검진의 체계적 관리, 연계기관 간 네트워크 조성, 인력지원 등을 요구하였다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 영아반 보육교사를 위한 지원 방안을 논의하였다. Early screening of congenital or acquired developmental delays and providing early intervention is critical to minimize the impact of developmental delay. The study was implemented the interviews with 12 child care and education teachers who were responsible for infants with developmental delays in one or more areas as measured by the Korean Developmental Screening Test for Infants & Children(K-DST). Results were as follows: First, the developmental delayed infants reported by teachers showed delays in one or more developmental areas and the environmental issues related to child rearing. Second, teachers attending to developmental delayed infants evaluated them generally by observation, were to be lacking in the capacity to use objective and systematic screening methods. Third, they recognized developmental delays as soon as early admission, but they had a tendency to discount the results, and to avoid developmental delay diagnosis. Fourth, after K-DST, teachers provided the supports in a number of ways: repeating instructions, increasing patience, adjusting task difficulty levels appropriately, parental counseling and suggestions for home activities. Fifth, they felt the difficulties in the classroom communication with development delayed infants, in the lack of time, expertise and support, the parental indifference and the difficulty of the counseling process. Sixth, they were required teacher training, parent education, the ongoing health and development monitoring, the networking among the relevant agencies, the supporting personnel for screening and early intervention of developmental delayed infants.

      • 기능적 전기자극기를 이용한 간헐적 고주파 교대자극과 간헐적 저주파 동시자극의 근 수축력 비교

        Functional electrical stimulation (FES) training of the knee extensors is a useful way to rehabilitate the ability to stand and walk. However, training using FES has not been able to solve the problem of fatigue; clinical application of FES quickly produces muscles fatigue, due to the continuous activation of the muscle of the lower extremity. Therefore, reduction of muscle fatigue is an important factor in increasing the effectiveness of FES training in paraplegia. Intermittent high frequency alternating stimulation is a method that combines the advantages of high frequency (leading to strong muscle contraction) and alternating stimulation (reducing muscle fatigue), thereby continuously strengthening muscles. It is not known whether low frequency simultaneous stimulation results in stronger muscle contraction than high frequency alternating stimulation. This study compared the effectiveness of high frequency alternating stimulation with low frequency synchronized stimulation. Muscle power using FES on the quadriceps of 20 normal subjects were compared. Intermittent high frequency alternating stimulation did not produce more powerful muscle contraction than intermittent low frequency synchronized stimulation, because the muscle characteristics differed individually. Significant individual variation according to muscle characteristics was founded when applying FES. Accordingly, when physical therapists use FES to treat patients, they must be aware of individual variation in muscle characteristics.

      • 농업용저수지의 녹조제어를 위한 수환경 특성과 포식성 천적생물의 분리 및 효과분석

        Jundae reservoir has basin area of 234ha, average depth of 3.77m and total storage of $619{\times}10^3m^3$, and is located in Dangin-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. The water quality of Jundae reservoir exceeded the IV grade of water quality standard as available for irrigation water in COD, TN, TP, Chl-a. COD and Chl-a were higher in spring season, because the algal bloom by phytoplankton increased. And the algal blooms in October by inflow non-point pollution during summer rainy season. The most dominant zooplankton was rotifers during study period at all stations. Dominant species were Keratella cochlearis, Polyarthra spp., and Trichocerca spp. We successfully established 2 isolated clone cultures as predator. One is Rotifer, Euchlanis sp. and another is cladocerans, Bosmina sp. To test the removal rate of 2 cultures against Microcystis aeruginosa, we inoculated Euchlanis sp. and Bosmina sp. separately when the abundance reached at $1.0{\times}10^6$cells/ml. Euchlanis sp. removed M. aeruginosa around 98.9% and Bosmina sp. removed it around 98.4%. They are useful grazers for controling algae blooms, Euchlanis sp. and Bosmina sp. feeding on M. aeruginosa highly.
