        한우 및 돼지의 혈액화학치에 관한 연구

        In order to know the range in blood chemical values and enzyme activities of korean native cattle and pigs being raised in kyongbuk province, the mean values of serum protein compositions, enzyme activities(GOT, GP, ALP), cholesterol, glucose, bilirubin, creatinine, urea nitrogen and uric acid were determined and the results obtained were as follows: 1. Mean contents of total protein, albumin, globulin and A/G ratio for the korean native male cattle were 7.28±0.86 g / dl, 3.39±0.65 g / dl, 3.83±0.92 g / dl & 0.95±0.34: for the male pigs were 7.39± 0.84 g / dl, 3.63±0.43 g / dl, 3.77±0.88 g / dl, 0.97±0.26: for the female pigs were 7.60±0.68 g / dl, 3.54±0.58 g / dl, 3.90+0.74 g / dl, 1.02±0.34. 2. Mean activities of GOT, GPT and ALP for the korean native male cattle were 48.3±11.6 U, 29.6±4.6 U, 13.7±2.8; for the male pigs were 58.6±10.6 U. 38.6±5.3 U, 24.9±9.2 U: for the female pigs were 43.9±10.8 U, 40.5±4.6 U, 13.9±3.4 U. 3. Mean contents of cholesterol, glucose and bilirubin for the korean native male cattle were 108.7±31.8 mg/dl, 88.2+26.4 mg/dl, 0.69±0.52 mg/dl: for the male pigs were 105.9±18.3 mg/dl, 102.9±22.3 mg/dl, 0.70+0.18 mg/dl: for the female pigs were 113.1±20.9 mg/dl, 103.2±23.9 mg/dl, 0.49±0.21 mg/dl. 4. Mean contents of creatinine, urea nitrogen and uric acid for the korean native male cattle were 2.86±0.69 mg / dl, 18.1 ±5.0 mg / dl, 1.38±0.66 mg / dl; for the male pigs were 2.20± 0.51 mg / dl, 18.2±4.3 mg/dl, 0.29+0.10 mg/dl; for the female pigs were 2.36+0.70 mg/dl, 20.5±5.4 mg/dl, 0.69±0.27 mg / dl.

        Parathion을 투여(投與)한 Rat의 혈청(血淸), 척수(脊髓) 및 뇌(腦) Cholinesterase 활성도(活性度)의 변동(變動) 조사(調査)

        Parathion is widely used in agriculture, but it is highly toxic and now clear that parathion behaves like a cholinergic drug by inhibiting the enzyme cholinesterase. In order to know acute toxicity and the changes of cholinesterase activity according to time lapsed in Sprague-Dawley rats injected single with half dose to LD50 of parathion, cholinesterase activities in serum, spinal cord, whole brain and median lethal dose between sex difference were investigated. The results obtained were summerized as follows; 1. LD50 values of parathion given intraperitoneally to male and female rats were 10.5mg/kg(95% confidence limits, 6.6-16.8mg / kg) and 3.3mg / kg (95% confidence limits, 1.9-5.6mg / kg). 2. The inhibition rate of cholinesterase activities in serum of parathion-injected rats according to time lapsed were peakly decreased to 35.4%(male) and 32.4%(female) after 1 hour in comparison to control group, but cholinesterase activities were completely recovered after 48 hours. 3. The inhibition rate of cholinesterase activities in spinal cord of parathion-injected rats according to time lapsed were peakly decreased to 31.1%(male) and 36.3%(female) after 30 minutes in comparison to control group, but cholinesterase activities were completely recovered after 48 hours. 4. The inhibition rate of cholinesterase activities in whole brain of parathion-injected rats according to time lapsed were peakly decreased to 32.2%(male) and 42.6%(female) after 1 hour in comparison to control group, but cholinesterase activities were completely recovered after 48 hours.

        Parathion을 경구투여(經口投與)한 Mouse의 체내(體內) Cholinesterase 활성도(活性度) 및 Glucose함량(含量) 조사(調査)

        The insecticide p-nitropheny diethyl thiophospate is alse known by the symbol E.605 and a legion of trade names including "parathion". The insecticide is widely used in agriculture, but it is highly toxic and now clear that paration behaves like a cholinergic drug by inhibiting the enzyme cholinesterase. In order to know acute toxicity and the changes of glucose concentrations and activity according to time lapsed in female mice given orally single with the half dose to LD50 of parathion, glucose contents and cholinesterase activities in serum as well as cholinesterase activities in whole brain and spinal cord were investigated, otherwise median lethal dose (LD50) of parathion given orally against female mice was determined. The results obtained were summerized as follows; 1. LD50 value of parathion given orally to female mice was 7.lmg/kg(95% confidence limits, 3.8-13.1mg/kg). 2. The inhibition rate of cholinesterase activities in serum of parathion-administrated mice according to time lapsed were peakly decreased to 61% after 30 minutes in comparison to control group, but activities were completely recovered after 48 hours. 3. The inhibition rate of cholinesterase activities in whole brain of parathion- administrated mice according to time lapsed were peakly decreased to 49% after 2 hours in completely recovered after 24 hours. 4. The inhibition rate of cholinesterase activities in spinal cord of parathion- administrated mice according to time lapsed were peakly decreased to 57% after 2 hours in comparison to control group, but activities were completely recovered after 48 hours. 5. The changes of glucose contents in serum of parathion-administrated mice according to time lapsed and in directly after death due to parathion poisoning were no significantly difference.

        경북 북부지역 육계농장의 Coccidia 감염실태 및 약제 감수성 조사

        The result that investigated aberage weekly oocyst nymbers in faeces from 16 broiler farms, Oocyst can be found in the highest during the 5 weeks age. The 3 of the 16 farms have clinical sign of the coccidiosis at the faeces collection. Anticoccidial drug sensitivity against Oocyst isolated in 2 farms to have clinical cocidiosis was tested for the drug susceptibility and resistance in order to prevention coccidiosis effectively. Maduramicin, Salynomicin, Narasin, Lasalocid, Monensin, Robenidine and Dicrazulir were used an anticoccidial drugs. The results; Anticoccidial index(ACI) of the A farm were 201.50 in a chicken group treated with Dicrazulir, 194.84 with Robenidine, 172.79 with Maduramicin 6ppm, 170.49 with Salynomicin, 168.02 with maduramicin 5ppm, 165.77 with Lasalocid, 143.34 with Monensin and 140.63 with Narasin. ACI of the B farm were 193.40 in a chicken group treated Robenidine, 190.64 with Dicrazuril, 158.75 with Maduramic in 6ppm, 151.62 with Maduramicin 5ppm, 149.44 with Salynomicin, 143.10 with lasalocid, 138.11 with Monensin and 137.50 with Narasin. According to interpretation of ACI from Kawasae et al, the drug resistance(less than 120 of ACI) not appeared in two farms, vut the drug tolerance(120-160 of ACI) appeared in two group treated with Monesin and Nalacin in csae of A farm and in all group with treated anticoccidial drug in case of B farm.

        Tuberculin(PPD)양성 반응우에 나타난 결핵 결절 및 림프절의 시험동물 접종 및 균분리 동정에 관한 연구

        In this study, homogenized mixture of tubercle and pulmonary lymph node showed up tuberculin(PPD) positive dairy cattle was inoculated in experimental animal, and was cultured on medium(Lowenstein Jensen medium, 3% Ogawa). The results obtained through the survey were sumerized as follows ; 1. In experimental animal, goat and rabbits were decreased body weight(25∼28%) and died in 90 days with severe pathogenicity. Rats are slight pathogenicity. 2. Goat, rabbits and rats showed up severe lesions In lung, rabbits was also lesions other organs (kidney, appendix, ileocecum, and I lymph node). 3. Mycobacterium was grown between 5 weeks and 8 weeks on Lowenstein Jensen medium and 3% Ogawa medium. 4. Biochemical test of Mycobacterium cultured on medium was that niacin, nitrate reduction, tween 80 hydrolysis and catalase test were negative, but that urease test was positive. Therefore it was Mycobacterium bovis (M. bovis).

        도축돈에서 TLC와 EEC-4 plate법을 이용한 항생물질 잔류조사

        The antibiotic residues of the urine, the liver, the lung, the kidney and the spleen in slaughtered pigs at Kyongbuk province were detected by TLC(SOS kit) and EEC-4 plate method. 1. The positive rate of residual sulfamethazine which was detected by SOS kit in the urine(n=200) was 0.0%. 2. The positive rate of residual sulfamethazine which was detected by EEC-4 plate in the urine (n=126), the liver(n=98), the kidney(n=72), the spleen (n=68) and the lung(n=48) were 63%, 49%, 36%, 34% and 24%, respectively. 3. By EEC-4 plate method, the positive detection rates of the urine were 53.0% in BS(pH 6.0), 29.0% in BS(pH 7.2), 11.5% in BS(pH 8.0) and 13.0% in ML(pH 8.0) medium, that of the liver 41.5% in BS(pH 6.0), 22.0% in BS(pH 7.2), 6.5% in BS(pH 8.0) and 5.0% in ML(pH 8.0) medium, that of the lung 21.0% in BS(pH 6.0), 9.5% in BS(pH 7.2) and 8.5% in BS(pH 8.0) medium, and that of the kidney 31.5% in BS(pH 6.0), 14.5% in BS(pH 7.2), 20.0% in BS(pH 8.0) and 3.0% in ML(pH 8.0) medium. In the spleen, only in BS(pH 6.0) medium the positive rate was detected as 33.5%. 4. The positive rates of samples which shown TLC-positive detected by EEC-4 plate method were 53.9% in no band, 77.8% in one band, 80.9% in two bands, 66.7% in three bands, respectively. In conclusion, the EEC-4 plate method could be applied for the detection of residual antibiotics in samples which shown as out of standard Rf values by TLC-method (SOS kit).

        사염화탄소(四鹽化炭素)를 투여(投輿)한 MICE 혈청(血淸)내 효소(酵素) 활성(活性) 및 생화학적(生化學的) 조성(造成)의 변화(變化)

        Carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) has been used to treat a variety of parasitic infection in both large and small animals, including Fasciola hepatica. Recently, we can easily contest with carbon tetrachloride in air, food, water, rain and industry area etc. and it is using in order to induce liver injury in laboratory. In this study, we investigated activitis of LDH, ALP, AST and ALT and amount of cholesterol, triacylglycerol, glucose and BUN in mice serum exposed to CCl4. The mice divided into a Naive control(A), corn oil control(B) and experimental group(C, D). Naive control group(A) was given feed and water only. Corn oil control group(B) was given corn oil lml/100g of body weight(B.W). Experimental group(C) was given carbon tetrachloride 1ml/l00g B.W.(CCl4:corn oil=1:20(V/V)). Experimental group(D) was given carbon teterachloride 1ml/100g B.W.(CC14:corn oil=1:10(V/V)). The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1) The body weight was declined after the 10th day in mice exposed to carbon tetrachloride. 2) The total protein level in serum was significantly in mice exposed to carbon tetrachloride(P≤0.05). The albumin and A/G ratio was decresed significantly in mice exposed to carbon tetrachloride (P≤0.01). 3) All of the activity of LDH, AST, ALT and ALP in mice serum exposed to carbon tetrachloride: incresed significantly activity of LDH(P≤0.05), incresed significantly activity of AST(P≤0.05, P≤0.01), incresed significantly activity of ALT and ALP(P≤0.05, P≤0.01). 4) The amount of cholesterol and triacylglycerol, lipid metabolite products in serum was incresed in case of cholesterol but did not change in case of triacylglycerol.

        유방염 감염 우유에서 분리된 Staphylococcus sp지방산 조성 비교

        The result of API staph-ident system was compared with cellular fatty acid composition for the identification of Staphylococcus species isolated from cattle. Isolated strains from cattle were correctly identified to S aureus, S intermedius, S hyicus, S simulans, S saprophyticus, S epidermis, S sciuri and S xylosus by API staph-ident system. The correlation between bacterial cellular fatty acid profile and Staphylococcus species isolated to API STAPH-IDENT system were. In conclusion, the result presented indicate that Staphylococci can be indentified to the species level by the cellular fatty acid profiles. Moreover, computerized fatty acid profile correlative anaylsis can be applied for determining identify of Staphylococcus species.

        도축 타조에서 닭 및 돼지 질병에 대한 혈청학적 조사

        As all other intensively farmed domestic species, most mortality in ostriches is closely to rearing conditions. While ostriches is also highly sensitive to stress, species-specific infectious disease play only a minor role. But investigation of ostrich`s disease is not performed almost in Korea. The study was performed to investigate the titers of antibody for Newcastle disease(ND), Infectious bronchitis(IB), Egg drop syndrome ``76(EDS), Avian influenza(AI), salmonellosis, Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection(MG), Mycoplasma synoviae infection(MS), Infectious bursal disease(IBD), Brucellosis, Toxoplasmosis, Japanese encephalitis(JE), Porcine parvovirus infection, Encephalomyocarditis and Porcine reproductive respiratory syndrome (PRRS). The results obtained in the 62 ostrich sera slaughtered in Gyeongbuk province were summarized as follows: The average of antibody positive rates to ND, IB, EDS, AI(H9N1), JE, Porcine parvovirus infection and Encephalomyocarditis by HI test were 75.8%, 100%, 0%, 0%, 51.6%, 50% and 56.5% respectively. The antibody positive rates to salmonellosis, MG, MS by plate agglutination test were 12.9%, 25.8%, and 0% respectively. Antibodies to disease agent such as IBD and AI by agar gel precipitation(AGP) test, Brucellosis by tube agglutination, toxoplasmosis by latex agglutination test and PRRS by IFA were all negative.
