For the purpose of drying high moisture rough rice effectively, from the view point of pre-drying, some basic experiments of fluidized bed drying of rough rice were carried out. The minimum fluidization velocities $(U_{mf})$ for both rough rice and glass bead were analyzed to find out fluidizing characteristics. The main results obtained were as follows ; 1) Minimum fluidization velocity of rough rice and glass bead were 2.01m/s and 4.07m/s, respectively, when using the distributor with $16\%$ opening ratio. 2) $U_{mf}$ calculated by Shirai's empirical equation and that calculated by Wen's modified equation were inconsistent with experimental data, while $U_{mf}$ calculated by Ergun's equation was consistent with the experimental data. 3) The following equations, on the basis of Leva's equation, were obtained. $$C_{mf}=1.19\times10^{-4}(Re_p)^{-0.0318)\;(rough rice)$$ $$C_{mf}=1.02imes10^{-4}(Re_p)^{-0.0047)\;(glass bead)$$

The thermal Conductivities along the position of spherical shaped fruits, such as, apple, mandarine orange. citrus hagyul were predicted by the analysis of the cooling curves obtained by the hydrocooling procedure using ice water. The thermal conductivity was independent of temperature. The thermal conductivities along the position of the fruits were nearly constant, but their small deviations were inherited by the improper spherical shape and the heterogenous structural composition of the fruits. The thermal conductivities of apple, mandarine orange, and citrus hagyul were found to be 0.353, 0.430, and $0.397\;Kcal/mh^{\circ}C$, respectively.
이원세공 고분자수지 충전층에서 모멘트방법에 의한 물질전달 파라메타의 추산

이원세공조체 충전층에서 기체의 물질전달파라메타를 추산하기 위한 모멘트식을 유도하였다. 이 모델은 마크로세공 표면의 표면확산과정을 포함한다. 이 모델로써, 이원세공 고분자수지인 Amberlite XAD-2 충전층에서 CO₂의 물질전달파라메타를 만족스럽게 추산할 수 있었다. 소량흡착기체인 Ar의 모멘트 해석으로 얻은 마크로세공의 굴곡도는 2.40이었다. 흡착열은 -4.2㎉/㏖이었다. 마이크로세공확산계수, Di/r²o은 30℃에서 0.22 sec^(-1), 활성화에너지는 7.3㎉/㏖이었다. 그리고 마크로세공표면확산계수는 30℃에서 6.0×10^(-4)㎠/sec, 활성화에너지는 2.7㎉/㏖이었다. In order to estimate mass transfer parameters of a gas in a fixed bed of solid with bi-dispersed pore structure, we derived new moment equations. The model contains the surface diffusion process on the surface of macropore. With the model mass transfer parameters of CO₂ in the fixed bed of bi-dispersed polymer resin, XAD-2, was estimated satisfactory. Macropore tortuosity factor was 2.40, which was obtained by moment analysis of nearly nonadsoring gas, Ar. Heat of adsorption was -4.2 ㎉/㏖. Micropore diffusivity, D_i/r²o, was 0.22 sec^(-1) at 30℃ and the activation energy was 7.3 ㎉/㏖. And macropore surface diffusivity was 6.0 × 10^(-4) ㎠/sec at 30℃ and the activation energy was 2.7 ㎉/㏖.

해수 우라늄 흡착제 개발과 공정의 기초 자료를 얻기 위하여 amidoxime기를 갖는 MR형 킬레이트수지를 가교도 변화에 따라 amidoxime형 수지를 합성하여 이 수지에 대한 물성, 우라늄의 흡착평형, 홉착능 및 흡착과정을 고찰하였다. Amidoxime형 수지의 물성과 우라늄의 흡착능은 가교도 변화에 따라 영향이 있으며 RNH-17.5인 경우가 가장 우수한 흡착능을 보였다. Amidoxime형 수지에 대한 우라늄의 흡착은 화학적 구조 뿐만 아니라 물리적 구조에도 영향이 있으며 흡착평형과 흡착과정은 각각 Freundlich등온식과 세공용적 확산율속과정으로 이때 의 Freundlich상수(1/n)과 유효세공확산계수는 0.058-0.236, 0.17-1.266×10^(-7)㎠/sec이였다. In order to develop an effective adsorbent for the recovery of dissolved uranium in seawater, the macroreticular acrylonitrile(AN)-divinylbenzene(DVB) copolymer beads were synthesized by suspension polymerization in the presence of toluene as diluent. The macroreticular chelating resins(RNH) containing amidoxime groups with various degree of crosslinking were prepared by the reaction of AN-DVB copolymer beads with hydroxylamine in methanol. The effect of degree of crosslinking on the physical properties, adsorption equilibrium, adsorptive ability and adsorption mechanism for uranium of amidoxime type resin(RNH) were investigated. The chemical and the physical properties and adsorptive ability of uranium on amidoxime type resin were effected by various degree of crosslinking. The adsorption of uranium on amidoxime type resin was not only effected by the chemical structure but also by physical structure. Equilibrium and mechanism of adsorption of uranium for amidoxime type resin were correlated with Freundlich equation and intraparticle diffusion controlling respectively and Freundlich constant(1/n) and effective pore volume diffusivities were ranged of 0.058-0.236 and 0.17-1.266×10^(-7)㎠/sec.
