In this study, we measured the partial discharge phenomenon of inside the closed switchgear, using ultra wide band antenna. The characteristics of $\Phi-q-n$ in the normal state are stable, and confirmed at less than 0.01, but in proceeding states, about 2 times larger. And in the abnormal state, it grew hundreds of times larger compared with normal state. According to K-means analysis, if slant of discharge characteristics is a straight line close to "0" and standard deviation is small, it is in a normal state. However if we can find a peak from K-means clusters and standard deviation to be large, it is in an abnormal state.

There are lots of hunting cases in Power system for various reasons. Some cases are very minute. Even plant operators can not recognize. But some cause black down in power system. In this paper, I will analyze hunting cases in power system and how fast the new & old excitation systems work well. Therefore I take measures and suggest solutions for similar cases.

In the result of the insulation oil analysis of 149.3MVA Liquid-Immersed transformer, CnHm gas content is increased, which is generated by transformer's internal trouble. The transformer is performed internal precision inspection. After eliminating the ground of the core, the insulation resistance is measured. In normal, the insulation resistance is over 30㏁, however, the result is 0Ω. The core and the coil is withdrawn to perform detail overhaul such as transformer's lower part inspection. This thesis introduce the field overhaul, which is rare example, to use transformer's technical data.
