The study on discharge of the flat lamp lighting source has been requested increasingly. To improve the brightness. life time and efficiency of tlat lamp, the plasma diagnosis of flat lamp lighting source is very important. When a distance of discharge electrode is 5.5㎜ and width is l6.5㎜, we measured electron temperature and electron density with single Langmuir probe in flat lamp. Pressure conditions to test the plasma discharge from l00 Torr to 300 Torr. The power supply was PDS-4000 with frequency 20㎑ and duty ratio 20%. Form these experimental results, electron temperature was decreased according to increase the gas pressure and the voltage while electron density was increased.

An electric power efficiency of electrodeless fluorescent lamp has big relativie property gas in lamp, gas pressure, lamp formation, ingredients of magnetic substance and share and action frequency etc. We used magnetic substance that open self-examination material electrodeless fluorescent lamp antenna. Ferrite that is used in this experiment was Mn-Zn type. We have examined resistance kind, impedance, Q-factor"s frequency characteristic by ferrite. Impedance, resistance and capacitance did not show difference in start frequency 2.65 [MHz] but there was difference quantity. We could know Q-factor"s difference according to material, and Q-factor"s is important part of antenna design.
