        절임조건에 따른 돌산갓의 이화학적 특성 변화

        To investigate the optimal salting conditions, the physicochemical properties of Dolsan leaf mustard were compared under various salting times and using various washing methods and storage temperatures at 10% saline. On the other hand, the cell number of lactic-acid bacteria in Dolsan leaf mustard salted under the optimal conditions was also examined during the 50-day storage. The results of the sensory evaluation of the crispness value of the Dolsan leaf mustard treated with stepwise washing after 8h salting showed the optimal conditions for long-term preservation. The pH of the salted Dolsan leaf mustard decreased with the increase in the lactic-acid bacteria during the storage at 4℃. The cutting energy slowly increased during the storage, but the cutting energy of the salted Dolsan leaf mustard treated with stepwise washing remained at the initial values. The color of the salted Dolsan leaf mustard did not change during 40-day storage, but the mustard turned brown after 50-day storage, for which reason it could not be made into Dolsan leaf mustard kimchi. These results could be recommended as the optimal salting conditions and storage time of salted Dolsan leaf mustard for making kimchi.

        천연추출물의 발모촉진 및 탈모 예방에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 검은콩, 은행, 녹차를 포함한 천연추출물이 두발의 발모 촉진과 두개피부에 미치는 영향을 조사한 연구이다. 연구 방법은 검은콩, 건조은행, 녹차잎을 2 : 1 : 1의 비율로 10 배수의 증류수에 침지하고 100℃에서 2시간 열수추출한 후, Eclipse Plus C18(4.6×250 mm, 5 μm)를 사용하여, 이동상은 초순수로 희석한 70% Methanol을 이용하였다. 추출물의 항균 활성은 Malassezia Furfur를 이용하였으며 항산화 활성은 DPPH에 대한 전자공여능 측정으로 평가하였다. 인간 모유두세포 및 섬유아세포의 증식 활성은 96 Well Plate에 세포를 3×104 (100 ㎕/well)로 분주하고 24시간 배양한 후 MTT Assay를 실시하였다. 천연추출물을 농도별로 투여하고 배양이 끝나면 DMSO 용액을 넣고, Plate Shaker에서 30분 추출 후, 570 nm에서 ELISA를 이용하여 흡광도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과 항균 효과 조사에서 천연추출물의 모낭염 유발균인 Pityrosporum Ovale와 지루성피부염 유발균인 Malassezia Furfur에 대해 성장억제를 확인하였고, DPPH 라디컬 소거능 측정을 통해 항산화 활성을 확인하였다. 또한, 인간 모유두세포(HFDPC)와 섬유아세포(NIH3T3)의 세포증식 효과에 대한 실험에서 천연추출물 0.10% 농도에서 모유두세포의 40% 이상 증식 효과, 섬유아세포는 0.02% 농도에서 약 10% 증식 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이들 3종의 천연추출물은 발모 촉진 및 탈모 예방 효과를 목적으로 하는 두개피부 및 모발보호 제품개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있음을 시사하는 바이다. This study examined the effects of natural extracts including black bean, Ginkgo biloba L. fruits, and green tea, on hair growth and scalp improvement. For the research method, black beans, dried ginkgo biloba, and green tea leaves were immersed in 10 times distilled water at a ratio of 2 : 1 : 1, extracted with hot water at 100 ° C for 2 hours, and Eclipse Plus C18 (4.6 × 250 mm, 5 μm) was used. As the mobile phase, 70% methanol diluted with ultrapure water was used. The antibacterial activity of the extract was evaluated using Malassezia furfur, and the antioxidant activity was evaluated by measuring the electron donating ability to DPPH. For proliferative activity of human dermal papilla cells and fibroblasts, 3×104 (100 μl/well) of cells were aliquoted in a 96 well plate and cultured for 24 hours, followed by MTT assay. After administration of natural extracts by concentration, and after incubation, DMSO solution was added, and after 30 minutes extraction on a plate shaker, absorbance was measured using ELISA at 570 nm. Antimicrobial activity of natural extracts on Pityrosporum ovale and Malassezia furfur were investigated. In antioxidative activities of natural extracts, DPPH radical scavenging activity was about 62.40±4.8 % at 5.0 mg/mL. On the other hand, cell proliferation in NIH3T3 cells and HFDPC cells were determined. Natural extracts promoted the proliferation of NIH3T3 cells, a human epidermal cells by about 10 % at 0.02 % concentration. HFDPC cells, a hair follicle dermal papilla cells were significantly stimulated in cell proliferation by above 40% at 0.10% concentration. These results suggest that natural extracts have antimicrobial activity, antioxidant effects, induce cell proliferation, and could be used for hair loss prevention and scalp improvement.

        여성 골다공증의 위험요인에 관한 환자-대조군 연구 - 서울지역 1개 병원 내원환자를 중심으로 -

        Until now there are few available epidemiologic data of osteoporosis in Korea, and the severity of osteoporosis-related health problem has not been widely recognized yet. But the numbers of the old people are increasing in Korea, and in 2000, the proportion of people over 65 will be up to about 6.8% of total population. Therefore, osteoporosis, one of the most common metabolic bone disease among the old people, will be one of the most important public health problem. On this background this study was performed to find out risk factors of the development of osteoporosis in Korean women through case-control approach. The subject of this study were selected among the women who visited menopause clinic in one general hospital in Seoul and were checked bone density from Sep. 1988 to Sep. 1993. Those who were diagnosed to have hypertension, diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, breast disease, or liver disease, which are thought to influnce bone density, were excluded. Also excluded those who are age-unknown. Finally the subjects were 2,139 women aged between 18 and 79. We operatively defined patient group as those whose bone density is below $1.039/cm^2$, 90% of average bone density of women of 4th decade who visited the same hospital. And we defined control group as whose bone dendity is above $1.15g/cm^2$. We randomly selected 201 women from the patient group and 202 from the control. As independent variables we chose age, menarche age, menopause age, menopause type, the number of siblings, the number of pregnancies, body mass index, taking oral pill or not, feeding type, and educational state. Multiple logistic regression analysis was done to see the influence of these variables on the risk of osteoporosis. Results are as follows; 1. menopausal status was statistically significant risk factor to all women irrespective of her age, while obesity and later menopause age were found to be statistically significant protective factors. 2. The more siblings and pregnancies, the greater tile risk of osteoporosis, but these factors were not statistically significant. This result is not consistent with other studies. Further studies are strongly needed.

        A Swan-Ganz catheter is a useful monitoring device for measuring the pulmonary artery pressure, pulmonary capillary wedge pressure and cardiac output, but its insertion brings about many complications, including dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery rupture, thrombosis and infection. We report here on a case of malposition of a Swan-Ganz catheter in a 49-year-old female patient who had undergone liver transplantation due to alcoholic liver cirrhosis.         CO<sub>2</sub>를 고정하는 화학독립영양미생물인 Aeromonas sp. strain JS-1의 Form I Ribulose-1,5-Bisphosphate Carboxylase/Oxygenase 정제 및 특성 파악

        A new hydrogen-oxidizing bacterium, Aeromonas sp. strain JS-1, that can fix $CO_2$ via the reductive pentose phosphate cycle (Calvin-Benson cycle) under chemoautotrophic conditions but not photoautotrophic conditions was isolated from fresh water. Strain JS-1 showed considerable $CO_2$ fixation ability during continuous cultivation even at high $CO_2$ concentration. Strain JS-1 used $H_2$ and $CO_2$ fixation as energy and carbon sources, respectively. Carbon dioxide fixation is carried out through the Calvin-Benson cycle, in which ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (RubisCO) is the key enzyme. Hydrogen-oxidizing chemoautotrophic Aeromonas sp. strain JS-1 exhibited remarkedly strong RubisCO [EC 4.1.1.39] activity. RubisCO was purified as an $L_8S_8$-type hexadecamer with molecular mass of 560 kDa by gel filtration. The enzyme consisted of two different subunits eight large (56 kDa) and eight small (15 kDa), as demonstrated by SDS-PAGE. The specific activity of the purified enzyme was about 3.31 unit/mg and stable up to $45^{\circ}C$. The $K_m$ values for RuBP, $CO_2$, and $Mg^{2+}$ were estimated to be 0.25 mM, 5.2 mM and 0.91 mM, respectively.

        The lateral stiffness of the track structure is very important mechanical property to prevent the track buckling and progress of misalignment. The increasing methods of the lateral stiffness of the track structure are the following increases of the lateral ballast resistance, and increases of the lateral stiffness of the track panel. In order to increase the lateral stiffness of the tack panel, some of the sleepers resist together against the lateral movement can be the most economical and mechanical method. In this paper, H-typed sleeper developed to solve this problem is introduced and the mechanical advantages of this sleeper are investigated.

        중국인의 뷰티관광에 대한 인식 및 체험 시 중요 요인

        이 연구는 산둥성, 길림성, 절강성에 거주하는 중국인의 인바운드 한국 뷰티관광에 대한 인식 및 관심분야, 선택 체험 시 중요 요인을 알아보고 이를 토대로 한국 인바운드 중국인 뷰티관광 유치 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 수집된 자료의 통계처리는 데이터 코딩과 데이터 크리닝 과정을 거쳐, SPSS v. 17.0 통계 패키지 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구분석 방법으로는 빈도분석 및 교차분석, 일원변량분석을 실시하였으며 사후검정 방법으로는 Duncan Test를 실시하였다. 이 자료의 공간적 범위는 산둥성, 길림성, 절강성이었으며 시간적 범위는 2013년 12월 20일부터 2014년 2월 28일까지 71일간이었다. 설문지 배포 및 회수는 한국 대학에 유학중인 중국 학생들이 방학을 이용하여 우편 및 직접 방문을 통하여 배포하고 회수하였다. 조사결과 대상자는 산둥성 179명, 길림성 160명, 절강성 81명 순으로 나타났고, 성별은 남성 102명, 여성 318명으로 나타났다. 연령은 20-29세 238명, 30-39세 110명 등의 순으로 나타났으며 직업은 학생 85명, 정부기관 및 군부관련 53명, 자영업 51명 순이었으며 월 수입은 1500위엔 이하 96명, 1500-3000위엔 118명 순으로 나타났다. 한국 뷰티관광은 ‘휴가를 즐기기 위한 관광과 ‘스파 및 온천의 체험관광이라고 인식을 하고 있었으며, 가장 관심이 있는 뷰티관광 분야는 ‘뷰티체험’이 113명과 ‘마사지’ 79명로 나타났다. 길림성의 경우 마사지 분야에, 절강성의 경우 다이어트 분야에, 산둥성의 경우 체질개선 분야에 관심이 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 뷰티관광과 가장 가까운 이미지는 ‘스파’ 185명, ‘마사지’ 51명, ‘대체의학(허브 등)’ 48명 등의 순으로 나타났으며 각 지역 모두 뷰티관광은 스파와 가장 가까운 이미지라고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 뷰티관광 활성화를 위해 가장 중요한 것은 ‘뷰티산업의 전문성’ 137명, ‘뷰티관광 인력양성’ 94명, ‘관광지의 차별성’ 79명 등으로 나타났으며 길림성의 경우 뷰티관광 활성화를 위해 관광지의 차별성이 가장 중요한 분야라고 생각하는 것으로 나타났으나 절강성의 경우 뷰티관광 인력양성이, 산둥성의 경우 뷰티산업의 전문성이 가장 중요한 분야라고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 뷰티관광 선택 및 체험 시 중요 요인은 ‘위생상태’, ‘서비스’, ‘친절’ 순으로 나타났으며, 뷰티관광 체험 시 중요 요인은 ‘뷰티서비스질’, ‘최신식 뷰티시설’, ‘편리성’, ‘장소’ 순으로 나타났다. 절강성이나 산둥성 지역의 경우 길림성 지역에 비해 여행비용의 적절성, 편리성, 아름다운 자연경관, 장소 등이 중요하다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구 결과는 다음과 같은 시사점이 필요함을 알 수 있다. 첫째, 중국 뷰티관광을 더욱 더 활성화하기 위해서는 뷰티산업의 전문성을 가지고 한국의 자연 및 문화유산과 결합하여 체험관광을 부각시킬 필요가 있으며 중국 표적집단을 대상으로 한국 뷰티관광 홍보를 활성화 할 필요가 요청된다. 둘째, 관광객들이 체험 휴가를 즐길 수 있도록 거시적인 정책 및 미시적인 정책적 대안을 제시하고 한국의 문화유적지를 중심으로 개인의 오감을 만족할 수 있는 우수한 프로그램들을 개발할 필요성이 요구된다. This study is intended to look into important factors for the perception, interesting field and optional experience of Korean inbound beauty tourism of Chinese living in Shandong, Jilin and Zhejiang Provinces, and come up with measures to attract Korean inbound Chinese beauty tourists. The frequency analysis, cross-tabulation analysis and one way ANOVA were conducted to verify the collected data using SPSS v. 17.0 through the process of data coding and data cleaning. The Duncan test was conducted for post-hoc comparison. A survey was carried out to Chinese tourists living in Shandong, Jilin and Zhejiang provinces for 71 days from December 20, 2013 to February 28, 2014. Questionnaires were distributed and collected by mail and personal visit during vacation for Chinese students in Korean universities. Analysis showed that 179, 160 and 81 Chinese tourists lived in Shandong, Jilin and Zhejiang provinces, respectively. The number of male and female Chinese tourists was 102 and 318, respectively. 238 and 110 Chinese tourists were between the age of 20-29 and 30-39, respectively. The number of students, government and military officials and the self-employed were 85, 53 and 51, respectively. The number of them on a monthly income of less than 1,500 yuan and 1,500-3,000 yuan was 96 and 118, respectively. The number of them that perceive Korean beauty tourism as ‘tourism to enjoy their vacation’ and ‘tourism to experience spars and hot springs’ was 161 and 126, respectively. The number of them that show most interest in ‘beauty experience’ and ‘massage’ was 113 and 79, respectively. Chinese tourists living in Shandong, Jilin and Zhejiang provinces were interested in the field of massage, diet and constitutional improvement, respectively. The number of them that perceive the closest image to beauty tourism as ‘spar’, ‘massage’ and ‘alternative medicine(herb)’ was 185, 51 and 48, respectively. The majority of them perceived the closest image to beauty tourism as ‘spar.’ The number of them that perceive the most important thing for the revitalization of beauty tourism as ‘beauty industry expertise’, ‘manpower training for beauty tourism’ and ‘tourist spot differentiation’ was 137, 94 and 79, respectively. Chinese tourists living in Jilin province perceived the most important thing for the revitalization of beauty tourism as ‘tourist spot differentiation.’ But Chinese tourists living in Zhejiang and Shandong provinces perceived it as ‘manpower training for beauty tourism’ and ‘beauty industry expertise’, respectively. The important factors for the choice and experience of beauty tourism were ‘sanitary conditions’, ‘service’, ‘kindness’. The important factors for the experience of beauty tourism were ‘beauty service quality’, ‘top-odthe- line beauty facilities’, ‘convenience’, ‘place’. Chinese tourists living in Zhejiang and Shandong provinces perceived ‘proper traveling expenses’, ‘convenience’, ‘beautiful natural landscape’ and ‘place’ as important factors compared to those living in Jilin province. The implications of research results stated above are as follows. First, in order to boost the Chinese beauty tourism more and more, the expertise of beauty industry needs to be combined with Korea``s nature and cultural heritage to characterize the experience tourism. And the publicity of Korean beauty tourism needs to be boosted to the Chinese target group. Second, the macroscopic and microscopic policy alternatives need to be come up with so that Chinese tourists can enjoy their experience vacation, and excellent programs need to be developed so that they can be satisfied with their five senses in Korean cultural sites.

        The pupose of this study is to research block shear failure that is one of limit states with yielding of gross section and fracture of net section in bolted joints of tension members. The effect of main factor and possible failure modes are investigated through analyzing research literatures and design specifications in domestic and foreign. This paper presented future research direction through results of intensive investigation.
