Electric vehicle fires in underground parking lots are very dangerous, but it is judged that the current related laws and regulations do not change, which will cause problems. As a result of the analysis for the purpose of providing an electric vehicle in an underground parking lot, fire-resistance coating is essential as it can cause an explosion in the building members made of high-strength concrete when an electric vehicle fire occurs in an underground parking lot. Since a fire occurs, it is necessary to prevent electric vehicles from parking adjacent to each other.

It is important to analyze the status of water quality with relation to the stream flow to attain water quality goal more effectively in the unit watersheds for the management of Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). This study developed a flow duration-water quality distribution graph to figure out water quality appearances on the flow variation and analyzed contributions of water quality observations to the impaired water bodies quantitatively by hydrologic conditions. Factors relating to water quality variation can be analyzed more precisely and assessed on the base of quantified contributions. It is considered that this approach could be utilized to establish a more effective plan for the water quality improvement including the prioritization of pollution reduction options.

It is one of the most critical steps identifying impaired waterbodies exactly in the selection of target water quality indicators for the management of Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). Excess ratio and excess level were applied and analyzed by the stream zone basis in order to evaluate water impairment for Nakdong, Geum, Youngsan and Seomjin rivers. Each river basin was divided into stream zones in the light of its watershed and waterbody characteristics. Selected water quality parameters discussed in this study were pH, DO, BOD, COD, SS, T-P, T-Coli and F-Coli. The excess ratios of the water quality parameters were used to discriminate water bodies that did not meet water quality standards. The excess levels were used to classify the degradation of water quality. The excess ratios and the excess levels to the water quality criteria of the medium influence areas were used for each stream zone. The results indicate that the excess ratios and the excess levels are varied on the stream zone in each river basin. Three parameters, pH, DO and SS, met water quality standards in all stream zones. The other five parameters indicated very high excess ratios in most waterbodies, and especially T-P and T-Coli revealed to be very high excess levels in some waterbodies. These parameters could be considered as major target indicators for the management of TMDLs.

The allocation of margin of safety (MOS) at a uniform rate to all areas of the unit watershed makes it very difficult to keep the load allotment stable in the area for lack of reduction measures like forest land. This study developed an equation to calculate margin of safety differentially according to the regional characteristics. The equation was formulated on the basis of the regional characteristic factors such as a load contribution factor for land use type and a site conversion factor for the unit watershed. The load contribution factor represents a contribution of loads from a particular land use. The site conversion factor was derived from the site conversion ratio of a unit watershed. Margin of safety for the non-point pollution load in the land use sector decreased by 20~25% in three river basins. The margin of safety in the unit watersheds with low site occupation ratios decreased in high rate, while in the unit watersheds with large urban area decreased in low rate. With the application of the differential margin of safety considering regional characteristics, not only the reduction of pollution loads can become lighter but also it can be easier to develop plans for Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) even where the reduction measures are not available.
수질오염총량관리 관거월류부하 변화에 따른 배출부하량 산정방법

The quantity of a discharge load can change with changes in rainfall in the area with a combined sewer system (CSS). To evaluate the implementation appropriately in the management of total maximum daily loads (TMDLs), the effects of rainfall changes should be considered in the estimation of the discharge load. The rainfall condition for the estimation of the discharge load in a certain year should be standardized to the same rainfall condition as that of the reference year. However, the calculation process is very complicated with its potential limitations. This study investigated and developed relatively simple methods for estimating the discharge load. Load conversion method (LCM) is designed to convert the discharge load under the current rainfall condition into that of the reference rainfall conditions. Simple rainfall data method (SRDM) is to simplify the estimation process of the discharge load by the simple conversion of rainfall data. These methods were applied to calculate the discharge load and examine the estimation results. From the results of this study the application of these methods may be useful for estimating the discharge load in the TMDL process.
써모크로믹 $\textrm{VO}_2$ 박막의 anti-reflection 코팅

VO$_{2}$ 써모크로믹 원도우의 가시광 투과율을 높히기 위하여 내마모성이 우수한 SiO$_{2}$박막을 이용하여 AR(anti-rdflection)코팅을 하였다. 두가지 중요한 공정변수인 기판온도와 증착속도가 AR효과에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 그리고 SiO$_{2}$박막의 AR효과는 낮은 기판온도와 높은 증착속도에서 더 우수한 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 SiO$_{2}$AR 박막의 굴절율과 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. VO$_{2}$ 써모크로믹 유리 위에 SiO$_{2}$AR-코팅을 했을 때 약 30% 정도의 가시광 투과율의 향상이 있었다. 그리고 AR-코팅을 하지 않은 경우보다 더 뚜렷한 써모크로미즘을 나타냈다. 또한 천이온도는 7$0^{\circ}C$정도로 AR-코팅을 하지 않은 VO$_{2}$써모크로믹 유리의 경우와 같게 나타났다.

Putting the urban maglev train to practical use requires the systematic management to predict and solve the problems in advance, which are expected to occur in the operation of the vehicle, at each lifecycle step such as concept design, manufacture, commissioning and maintenance. In this article, we review the trend of international specification for railway RAMS and suggest the RAMS program from the viewpoint of system engineering. In addition, RAMS requirements for the advance into the foreign market are presented through the investigation of RAMS specifications for Metro transit in various principal countries. Lastly, we suggest the direction of RAMS research on maglev train for putting it to use by analysing the trend of RAMS researches in Japanese railway.
