A microparticle retention system of the hydrocol system have been used cationic polyacrylamide(C-PAM) and bentonite addition. This study describes the fines retention, drainage and formation of single polymer system and hydrocol system at precipitated calcium carbonate(PCC). This paper loaded PCC of various particle size and the amounts in the handsheet and measured their physical and optical properties. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Single system was increased on the retention of PCC, but decreased on the drainage and formation. The hydrocol system of PCC addition was decreased more retention of PCC than single system at 0.5% C-PAM addition, but the retention was increased over C-PAM of 1.0%. that on the drainage and formation were much more increased than single system at 0.5% C-PAM addition. 2. The retention and drainage, increased as particle size of PCC, was increased but the formation was the same. As amounts of PCC was decreased, the retention, drainage and formation ware increased. 3. The hydrocol system on tensile index was much more increased than single system but those on tear index was much more decreased than hydrocol system. Both tensile and tear index was decreased but opacity was increased, as the retention of PCC increases. Tensile and tear index were decreased by the increase in both the particle size and amounts of PCC. Opacity was decreased, as the particle size of PCC being increased, but opacity was increased by the increase in amounts of PCC.

This paper was carried out to analyze the variation of composition of seed oil with storage periods. Difference of content of crude fat in fresh-cut seed and one year storage seed is not detected but in pentadecanoic acid, acid value, iodine value and peroxide value in one year storage seed have lower than those of the fresh-cut seed. Linoleic acid and oleic acid were high among of total fatty acid in fresh-cut seed but moiety of linolenic acid and icosanoic acid was low otherwise that of palmitic acid and oleic acid is increased in one year storge. In neutral lipid, capric and mytistic acid were high in fresh-cut, oleic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid were increased after one year storge. In glycolipid, the lauric acid and linoleic acid were high in fresh-cut seed, the palmitic acid was increased, otherwise, linolenic acid was decreased after one year storge. In phospholipid, palmitic acid and unknown part were high in fresh-cut seed, palmitic acid, oleic acid and linolenic acid were increased after one year storge.

The effects of chip storage (1, 3, 5, 7 months), active alkali (17, 19, 21%) and anthraquinone addition on the pulp yield, resin content and tall oil yield in kraft pulping of Pinus koraiensis were, investigated. Chip storage reduced pulp yield and tall oil yield. In comparison with the other treatment conditions, especially, the pulp yield of 3 months storage chip revealed the high level in the range of 17-19% active alkali charge. The addition of 0.1% is anthraquinone didn't show the obvious increase of pulp yields, while tended to stabilize them in the middle level (43-45%). The deresination of 1-3 months storage chip was easier than other storage chip was easier than other storage periods, the addition of 0.1% anthraquinone was effective in the decrease of resin content. There was no linear relation between storage period and tall oil yield, the addition of anthraquinone improve the tall oil yield.
