        전염성 췌장 괴저 바이러스의 어류세포에의 감염에 미치는 리소솜 친화성 약염기의 영향

        We investigated the effect of ammonium chloride, which is known to affect lysosome-mediated viral internalization, on the infectious of fish cells, CHSE-214, with Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis Virus (IPNV). Progeny production of IPNV was delayed 6 to 8 hours in IPNV infected CHSE-214 cells by the addition of NH₄C1 at the final concentration of 20 mM. The multiplication of IPNV, however, was no longer inhibited when NH₄C1 was present only for the first 4 hours after viral infection. Thus the inhibitory effect of NH₄C1 seems to be on some other steps but internalization. For the inhibitory effect of NH₄C1, time of addition is not very important, but the length of treatment is rather critical. Ammonium chloride attenuated the synthesis of almost all the proteins in IPNV-infected CHSE-214 cells. Thus the primary effect of NH₄C1 on virus-infected host cells is to inhibit the synthesis of proteins resulting in the delay of IPNV growth. Therefore, we conclude that IPNV penetration into CHSE-214 cells does not require the low-pH dependent activity of lysosome.

        국내분리 Aujeszky's disease virus의 실험적 감염 자돈에 대한 바이러스학적 연구

        To investigate the etiology, pathogenicity and virological properties of NYJ-1-87 strain of Aujeszky's disease virus (ADV) that was isolated from the diseased piglet in Korea, the virus at $10^{6.0}TCID_{50}/0.1ml$ was inoculated intranasally and subcutaneously into 30 to 35 days-old piglets. Results obtained through the experiments were summarized as follows. 1. Ten of the infected piglets were clinically observed for 15 days. On the 2nd day post-inoculation(pi), the signs of pyrexia, anorexia and convulsion were noted. On the 4th to 7th days pi, nervous signs of incoordination and intermittent spasm were shown in the most of piglets, and one out of 5 piglets infected intranasally was died with severe nervous signs at the 7th day pi. The signs became relieved on the 8th day pi and all of remainder were completely recovered on the 13th to 14th days pi. 2. In hematological study, prominent decrease in the number of total leukocyte and lymphocyte was shown in the ADV-infected piglets on the 6th day pi. On the 8th day pi, the cell numbers were slightly increased and returned to normal level on the 10th day pi. 3. Viral excretion of the ADV-inoculated piglets was examined by swabbing of nasal and oral cavities, and rectal feces. During the periods of the 3rd to 11th days pi, the virus was excreted intermittently from nasal and oral cavities, and rectal feces. The nasal excretions were shown the highest virus concentration of $10^{5.2}TCID_{50}/0.1ml$ at the 5th day pi. 4. Recovery of the inoculated virus from various organs of the piglets that were died or experimentally slaughtered was attempted, and the virus was isolated from the tissues of brain and tonsil by the cultured cell-inoculation method. The highest recovery rate was noted in the tonsil. By indirect immunofluorescence antibody assay using ADV-monoclonal antibody, the viral antigens were detected in tissues of spleen and liver as well as brain and tonsil on the 7th to 9th days pi. The virus was not isolated from blood and the tissues of lung and kidney throughout the experiments. 5. Titers of virus neutralizing antibody in the piglets experimentally infected with ADV became increased after the 6th to 9th days pi in both of intranasal and subcutaneous inoculation showing the highest titers of 64 to 128 on the 29th day pi. When the antibody levels were measured by radial immunodiffusion enzyme assay, the reactive diameter was enlarged to be positive after the 4th to 6th days pi in both of intranasal and subcutaneous inoculation showing the largest diameter of 13 to 14mm on the 29th day pi.

        바위 자고새의 흑두병 발생예

        The diseased Chuckar partridges that were raised at the wild bird-raising farms located in Ockchun, Chungbuk province, were submitted for diagnosis in the laboratory in July. 1990. The diseased partridges aged 3~4 weeks old were shown clinical signs such as anorexia, depression, white-colored or transparent-watery diarrhea and dropping of the head and wings. At necropsy, major gross lesions were found in the livers, ceca and lungs. Histopathologically, numerous histomonads were observed in the necrotic tissues of the livers and ceca. In the cecal specimens, it was found that the ameboid histomonads have flagellum and the size of 10~20 micrometer. The case was confirmed as histomoniasis due to the infection of Histomonas meleagridis.

        인산 및 수증기 활성화에 의한 대나무 활성탄 제조 및 특성 연구

        Bamboo is an evergreen perennial plant, and it is known as one of the most productive and fastest-growing plants in the world. It grows quickly in moderate climates with only moderate water and fertilizer. Traditionally in Asia, bamboo is used for building materials, as a food source, and as versatile raw materials. Bamboo as a biomass feedstock can be transformed to prepare activated carbon using the thermal treatment of pyrolysis. The effect of process variables such as carbonization temperature, activation temperature, activation time, the amount of steam, and the mixing ratio of phosphoric acid and bamboo were systematically investigated to optimize the preparation conditions. Steam activation was proceeded after carbonization with a vapor flow rate of $0.8{\sim}1.8mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$ and activation time of 1 ~ 3 h at $700{\sim}900^{\circ}C$. Carbon yield and surface area reached 2.04 ~ 20.59 wt% and $499.17{\sim}1074.04m^2\;g^{-1}$, respectively, with a steam flow rate of $1.4mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$ for 2 h. Also, the carbon yield and surface area were 24.67 wt% and $1389.59m^2\;g^{-1}$, respectively, when the bamboo and phosphoric acid were mixed in a 1:1 weight ratio ($700^{\circ}C$, 2 h, $1.4mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$). The adsorption of methylene blue into the bamboo activated carbon was studied based on pseudo first order and second order kinetics models. The adsorption kinetics were found to follow the pseudo second order model, which is governed by chemisorption. 대나무는 지구상에 존재하는 식물 중 적절한 기후와 토양조건에서 생산성이 가장 높고, 성장속도가 가장 빠른 다년생 식물로 알려져 있다. 전통적으로 아시아에서 대나무는 음식, 건축 및 다양한 재료로 활용되고 있다. 바이오매스 자원으로 대나무는 열분해과정을 거쳐 활성탄으로 제조될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 탄화온도, 활성화 온도, 시간, 수증기의 양, 그리고 인산의 양 등을 변화에 따른 최적의 대나무 활성탄 제조 연구를 수행하였다. 대나무 탄화 후 수증기 활성화를 위해 $700{\sim}900^{\circ}C$의 온도, $0.8{\sim}1.8mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$ 수증기 유량 범위에서 1 ~ 3 h 동안 활성화를 진행하였다. 수증기 유량을 $1.4mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$으로 2 h 동안 실험한 결과 활성탄 수율과 비표면적은 각각 2.04 ~ 20.59 wt%, $499.17{\sim}1074.04m^2\;g^{-1}$의 값이 나왔다. 대나무와 인산의 질량비를 1:1로 혼합한 후 $700^{\circ}C$에서 유량 $1.4mL-H_2O\;g-char^{-1}\;h^{-1}$ 속도로 2 h 동안 활성화를 진행한 결과 활성탄 수율과 비표면적은 각각 24.67 wt%, $1389.59m^2\;g^{-1}$의 값이 나타냈다. 제조된 대나무 활성탄을 대상으로 메틸렌블루 흡착 실험을 통해 유사 1차, 2차 속도식 모델을 적용하였으며, 화학적 흡착을 의미하는 유사 2차 속도식에 따랐다.

        한방 치료와 코어 운동을 병행한 퇴행성 슬관절염 환자 1례에 대한 증례보고

        Objectives : The objective of this study is to report the effect of Traditional Korean medical therapy and core exercise on osteoarthritis of knee joint by observing a clinical case study. Methods : Patient with a diagnosis of osteoarthritis of knee joint, was treated by acupuncture, herb medicine, physical theraphy and core exercise. Results : After treatment, Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), Korean version of the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities(KWOMAC), Pain Rating Score(PRS) were reduced from 5 to 2, from 25 to 16, from 55 to 27, and CENTAUR test results were improved. Conclusions : This study showed that Traditional Korean medical therapy and core exercise has meaningful effect on osteoarthritis of knee joint, and more researches should be followed.

        돼지 분변 유래 PORCINE ENTEROVIRUS의 물리학적 특성 및 병원성에 관한 연구

        28 porcine enteroviruses were isolated from 86 pig-feces of 9 swine farms located in souti region, Chung-buk, from March to September 1990. Physico-chemical properties and pathogenicity of isolates were investigated. Results obtained throughout experiments are summarized as follows. According to the age, weanlings(40-90 days), sucklings(10-30 days) and adult pigs(6 months over) showed the isolation rate of 67%, 8% and 4%, respectively. By physico-chemical tests, YD-90 /22, YD-90/43 and YD-90 /64 strains were found to be ether, chloroform and PH stable. Nucleic acid test suggests the virus to have a DNA genome. Most of the isolates were not evident of hemagglutinin using erythrocytes from various mammalian & avian. 22 strains among the isolates were shown CPE type I and the remainders were CPE type Ⅱ. 3 strains among isolates of CPE type 1 strains were neutralized with high titers to serotype 2 antiserum. Ir. the study on virus growth curve in PK 15 cells, YD-90 /22, YD-90/43 and YD-90 /64 strains showed the maximum infectivity titers(106.0-106.5 TCID50 /me) at 4 days post inoculation(PI). When 30 day-old commercial piglets were inoculated only intraoral route with the YD-90/22 strain at 106.0 TCID50/m, piglets not showed the symptoms. But piglets inoculated by intramuscie route, intraoral and intramuscie route after pretreat with dexamethasone(2.5mg /kg) for 5 days were shown the symptoms of anorexia, diarrhea, pyrexia and ataxia at 4th 6th days PT. The viral reisolation in the virus-inoculated piglets was examined from feces. The viruses were recovered intermittently from 2nd to 16th day P1 and at 4th-6th day P1, all piglets excreted viruses.

        IHNV (Infectious Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus): 과거, 현재, 그리고 미래

        A global increase in fish consumption has led to a rapid expansion of aquaculture production, which has been linked to enhancing the spread of infectious diseases. Viral diseases can cause high mortality in many cultured fish species, posing a serious threat to the aquaculture industry. Infectious hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHNV) is one of the primary threats to aquacultured salmonid species, causing huge economic losses. Since the first report in cultured sockeye salmon Oncorhynchus nerka during the 1950s in North America, IHNV has spread to other regions, including Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa by transportation of infected fish and eggs, causing disease and increasing mortality in a wide variety of salmonid species. Here, we review existing information relevant to IHNV: its phylogenetic characteristics, origin, infection history, virulence determinants, susceptible hosts, vectors, and vaccine development. This review also addresses a possible cross-species transmission of IHNV to a new host, olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus, a cultured fish of economic importance in East Asian countries.

        학교자치와 수업의 질, 교사 학교만족도의 관계에 대한 탐색적 연구

        교육부는 2023년 공교육 경쟁력 제고방안을 발표하면서, 단위학교의 자율성 확대를 통한 업무경감 지원을 하겠다고 밝힌 바 있다. 이 연구는 학교자치에 중요성이 나날이 커져가고 있으며, 공교육의 질 제고와 교사 학교만족도를 높이기 위해 단위학교에 자율성을 부여하겠다고 밝힌 현 시점에서 학교자치와 수업의 질, 교사 학교만족도 간의 관계를 탐색적으로 규명함으로써, 단위학교의 학교자치 실현에 대한 이론적 토대를 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2021년 12월부터 2022년 1월까지 설문조사를 실시하였고, 대전과 세종에서 근무하는 교사 총 190명의 응답 자료를 분석하였다. 분석방법은 교사와 학교 배경변인, 학교자치와 수업의 질, 교사 학교만족도 간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였고, 세 변인 간의 구조관계를 파악하기 위해서 구조방정식모형을 활용하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수업의 질에 유의한 영향을 주는 배경변인으로 학교규모와 혁신학교 여부로 도출되었다. 둘째, 교사 학교만족도에 유의한 영향을 주는 배경변인은 성별이 유일하였다. 셋째, 수업의 질에 영향을 주는 학교자치 변인은 학생의 자율성, 비전 공유, 교사 학교만족도에 영향을 주는 학교자치 변인은 인사, 학생, 교직원의 자율성, 비전 공유, 수업의 질로 나타났다. 넷째, 학교자치는 수업의 질을 매개로 교사 학교만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 도출되었으며, 문화적 자치, 기능적 자치, 구조적 자치 순으로 영향의 정도가 컸다. 이를 바탕으로 수업의 질과 교사 학교만족도를 높이기 위한 단위학교의 학교자치 방안에 대하여 논의하였다. The Ministry of Education announced a plan to enhance the competitiveness of public education in 2023, and announced that it would provide work reduction support by expanding the autonomy of unit schools. This study aims to lay the theoretical foundation for the realization of school autonomy by exploratory investigation of the relationship between school autonomy, quality of instruction, and teacher school satisfaction at the present time when the importance of school autonomy is increasing day by day, and unit schools will be given autonomy to improve the quality of public education and teacher school satisfaction. To this end, a survey was conducted in January 2022, and the response data of a total of 190 teachers working in Daejeon and Sejong were analyzed. The analysis method used hierarchical regression analysis to analyze the relationship between teachers and school background variables, school autonomy and class quality, and teacher school satisfaction, and a structural equation model was used to understand the structural relationship between the three variables. The main research results are as follows. First, school size and innovative school were derived as background variables that significantly influenced the quality of instruction. Second, gender was the only background variable that significantly influenced teacher school satisfaction. Third, the school autonomy variables that affect the quality of instruction were student autonomy, vision sharing, and school autonomy variables that affect teacher school satisfaction. Fourth, school autonomy was found to have a significant effect on teacher school satisfaction through the quality of instruction, and the degree of influence was large in the order of cultural autonomy, functional autonomy, and structural autonomy. Based on this, the school autonomy plan of unit schools to increase the quality of instruction and teacher school satisfaction was discussed.

        세법상 가산세에 대한 정당한 사유 판단기준에 대한 연구

        The reasonable cause exception to the tax penalty have applied unfavorably to a taxpayer in Korea. This results in asking a taxpayer to have severe due diligence compared with tax agency. We can see that the supreme court practice concerning the narrow interpretation about reasonable cause exception is unreasonable because tax authority has a partial status in understanding tax law. Legislative proposals to resolve problems found in supreme court cases are the followings. First, we need to introduce the rule to accept reasonable cause in a case with private ruling. Second, it is proposed to amend tax law to accept reasonable cause when a taxpayer files and pays taxes based to the reasonable interpretation of tax law in which there are different interpretations. Also, it is needed to amend public rulings every year and to introduce the administrative procedure timely to notify taxpayers of changes in tax law interpretation. Third, it is necessary to limit the range relating misunderstanding of the law in a case creating controversy over the interpretation of tax law and widely to accept reasonable cause. When a related regulation is complex and vague and tax authority recognised a taxpayer`s interpretation for a long time, it is regarded as a case that there is a reasonably different interpretation and it is needed to accept reasonable cause.
