        양계 사료첨가제로서 감태 추출 부산물로 인한 체중증가 및 방어효능 평가

        The Ecklonia cava Kjellman by-product (ECBP) as a feed additive was evaluated in improvement of productivity and immune enhancement against Salmonella Gallinarum (SG). Lohmann Brown chickens proved SG-free were randomly divided into 3 groups of 8 chickens each. Chickens were fed with the experimental diet treatment: T0, Non treatment-commercial feed; T1, commercial feed with 0.5% ECBP; T2, commercial feed with 0.1% Lactobacillus plantarum. In this study, we evaluated the effect of T1 and T2 groups on the body weight and protective efficacy against SG in chickens. The results demonstrated that treatment of T1 group as a feed additive affected significantly body weight gaining in chickens. In addition, T1 group showed a significant different colonization of SG when compared to T2 and T0 groups. We also studied that serum IgG and $interferon-{\gamma}$ levels were significantly different compared with other treatment groups. Therefore, we suggest that ECBP can be used as a good candidate of feed additives in chicken industry.

        A case of metastatic adenoid cystic carcinoma of the lung, originated from the trachea, was diagnosed by fine needle aspiration. Although the cytologic features of adenoid cystic carcinoma have been well described, it is easy to confuse adenoid cystic carcinoma with more common primary small cell neoplasms of the lung, i.e., small cell carcinoma, well differentiated adenocarcinoma, and carcinoid tumor of the lung. The features distinguishing adenoid cystic carcinoma from these neoplasms include 1) tight, globular, honeycomb pattern of cells, 2) acellualr basement membrane material in the lumen, and 3) cells lacking true nuclear melding and having bland chromatin pattern. The morphologic feature of metastatic adenoid cystic carcinoma in this case was so distinctive as to permit a definite diagnosis by aspiration cytology.

        전자혀를 이용한 객관적 상대 단맛 측정

        Sugar solutions (5%, 10%, 15% and 20%) were tested by seven sensors of Astree E-Tongue for selecting a sensor for sweetness. NMS sensor was chosen as a sensor for sweetness among two sensors (PKS and NMS sensors selected in first stage) by considering precision, linearity and accuracy. Sugar, fructose, glucose and xylitol (5%, 10% and 15%) were tested by E-tongue. The principal component analysis (PCA) result by E-Tongue with seven sensors at 5% concentration level of four sweetners was not satisfactory (Discrimination index was -0.1). On the other hand, the relative NMS sensor response values were derived as 1.08 (fructose), 0.99 (glucose) and 1.00 (xylitol) comparing to sugar. Only the E-Tongue relative glucose response 0.99 was different from 0.5~0.75 of the relative sweetness range reported as the human sensory test results. Considering the excellent precision (%RSD, 1.53~3.64%) of E-Tongue using NMS single sensor for three types of sweeteners compared to sugar in the concentration range of 5% to 15%, replacing sensory test of sweetened beverages by E-Tongue might be possible for new product development and quality control.

        토양의 총 경제적 가치

        The Korean government is planning to invest a lot of funds for conservation of the soil. Accordingly, it needs quantitative information on the soil. This paper attempts to analyze the total value of soil quantitatively: the total economic value of soil can be divided into use value and non-use value. To this end, we apply a replacement cost method (RCM) and contingent valuation method (CVM). Especially, CVM is most widely used to measure the non-use value such as environment goods. We employed the one-and-one-half-bounded dichotomous choice (OOHBDC) for willingness to pay (WTP) elicitation and a spike model. The monthly mean WTP was estimated to be KRW 3,949 per household for the next 10 years, which is statistically significant at the 1% level. Expanding the value to the relevant population gives us KRW 897.9 billion per year and as of the end of 2015, the non-use value of soil was assessed to be KRW 838.6 billion. Meanwhile, use value is subdivided into direct use value and indirect use value. This value was calculated KRW 3,277 trillion and KRW 51.8 trillion, respectively. As a result, total economic value of soil is estimated to be KRW 3,330 trillion in Korea.

        인삼 지상부를 첨가한 사료 급여가 닭에서 나타내는 효과

        Ginseng has been widely used in Korea as a natural medicine due to its saponin contents. Although the total amount of ginseng stem and leaf saponins (GSLS) is 4~5 times higher than that of saponin in the root, the root is mainly used. This is due to two reasons: nervous system-stimulant activity of GSLS and pesticide residues in GSLS. In this study, residual agricultural pesticides were removed from GSLS using two types of bacterial treatments. Two GSLS treatment groups of chickens (GSLS-1 and GSLS-2) were established. The chickens were fed 0.4% GSLS-1 or GSLS-2 mixed with crop. We then evaluated the effects of GSLS on bodyweight and several immune parameters. At the end of the experiments, chickens fed GSLS-1 and red ginseng saponin had significantly higher growth rates (16.6% and 8.0%, respectively) compared to the vaccine control group treated with Noblis Salenvac-T. The group fed GSLS-1 also had the highest IgG titer that was significantly different at the end of experiments compared to the other groups. These findings imply that GSLS-1 is a good candidate feed additive for the chicken industry.

        퍼멀로이 합금도금을 위한 나노실리카 분산방법에 관한 연구

        복합전기도금은 도금 중 반응성이 없는 물질을 첨가하여 도금층 내부에 함께 존재하도록 함으로써 이루어진다. 퍼멀로이는 철과 니켈의 합금을 말하는 것으로써 마모 특성과 내부식성이 우수하고 복합도금을 함으로써 도금층의 잔류응력 완화와 경도증가, 높은 투자율를 나타내기 때문에 산업 여러 분야에 응용된다. 복합도금을 통해 제품의 미세경도를 향상시킬 수 있으며 이는 제품의 수명과 연관된다. 하지만 실리카 나노분말 표면의 수산화기는 표면을 수분에 취약하게 만들고 이는 나노분말의 응집을 발생시켜 균일한 도금층의 형성을 어렵게 하는 요인이 된다. 본 연구에서는 실리카 나노분말의 zeta potential의 측정과 실리카 나노분말의 응집을 줄이기 위하여 전류밀도의 변화, 첨가제의 변화를 살펴보았다. 표면은 전류밀도 20 $mA/cm^2$에서 가장 효과적이었으며 이 때 실리카의 함량은 $50^{\circ}C$에서 9%로 확인되었다. 첨가제에 따라 표면 형상과 공석되는 실리카 나노입자의 함량 차이가 나타났다. 염기성 도금용액에서 sodium lauryl sulfate를 사용하였을 경우 표면이 매끄럽고 공석되는 실리카 나노분말의 양도 높았다. The composite electroplating is accomplished by adding inert materials during the electroplating. Permalloy is the term for Ni-Fe alloy and it is used for industrial applications due to its high magnetic permeability, surface wear resistance, corrosion protection. Microhardness for microdevices is enhanced after composite coating and it increases the life cycle. However, the hydroxyl group on the silica makes their surface susceptible to moisture and it causes the silica nanoparticles to be agglomerated in the aqueous solution. The agglomeration problem causes poor dispersion which eventually interrupts uniform deposition of silica nanoparticles. In this study, the dispersion of silica nanoparticles in the permalloy electroplated layer is reported with variation of additives and current densities. The optimum current density was 20 $mA/cm^2$ and the silica content was 9 at% at $50^{\circ}C$. The amount of silica nanopowder codeposition and surface morphologies were influenced with variation of additives. In the bath, smooth surface morphology and relatively high contents of silica nanopowder codeposition were obtained with addition of sodium lauryl sulfate.

        사서공무원 공개채용 시험과목의 직무전문성에 대한 인식 분석 연구

        본 연구에서는 변경된 사서직 공무원 시험제도가 사서직 직무전문성을 향상시키는 방향으로 개정이 되었는지에 대한 인식을 현직 사서공무원 대상의 설문을 통해 파악하고자 한다. 또한 본 연구를 통해 사서직 공무원 채용에 사서직 직무전문성을 갖춘 인재채용을 위한 시험과목과 채용제도의 개선안을 제안하고자 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 현직 사서공무원은 변경된 사서직 8 9급공무원 공채 시험과목이 사서직 직무전문성을 가진 사람을 채용하는데 있어 실용성이 없는 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 응답자의 78.5%가 변경된 과목(행정학개론, 사회, 과학, 수학)보다는 사서직 전공과목을 위주로 필기시험과목을 조정해야 한다고 생각하고 있었다. 셋째, 전문성 향상을 위한 사서직 공무원 공개채용 시험과목으로 '도서관경영론', '정보조직론', '장서관리론' 과목이 필요하다고 생각하는 것으로 조사되었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the appropriateness of the open competitive examination subjects to selecting the personnel with work profession targeted the public official librarian engaging the libraries directly operated by education office and city hall of Seoul. Also, this study suggested the ways for selecting excellent personnel within work profession. First, the public official librarian recognized that there was no practicality regarding the subjects of the open recruitment that recruit for the personnel with work profession. Second, 78.5% of the public official librarian responded the new subjects including science of public administration, social studies, science, and mathematics needed to be revised to a written examination. Third, the public official librarian thought the subjects such as library management theory, organization of information, and collection management was more appropriate for the improvement of the profession.

        영역-점 회귀 크리깅 기반 다중센서 위성영상의 공간-분광 융합: 고해상도 적색 경계 및 단파 적외선 밴드 생성 실험

        This paper presents a two-stage spatio-spectral fusion method (2SSFM) based on area-to-point regression kriging (ATPRK) to enhance spatial and spectral resolutions using multi-sensor satellite images with complementary spatial and spectral resolutions. 2SSFM combines ATPRK and random forest regression to predict spectral bands at high spatial resolution from multi-sensor satellite images. In the first stage, ATPRK-based spatial down scaling is performed to reduce the differences in spatial resolution between multi-sensor satellite images. In the second stage, regression modeling using random forest is then applied to quantify the relationship of spectral bands between multi-sensor satellite images. The prediction performance of 2SSFM was evaluated through a case study of the generation of red-edge and short-wave infrared bands. The red-edge and short-wave infrared bands of PlanetScope images were predicted from Sentinel-2 images using 2SSFM. From the case study, 2SSFM could generate red-edge and short-wave infrared bands with improved spatial resolution and similar spectral patterns to the actual spectral bands, which confirms the feasibility of 2SSFM for the generation of spectral bands not provided in high spatial resolution satellite images. Thus, 2SSFM can be applied to generate various spectral indices using the predicted spectral bands that are actually unavailable but effective for environmental monitoring. 이 논문에서는 상호보완적인 공간 및 분광해상도를 가진 다중센서 위성영상을 이용하여 공간해상도와 분광해상도를 향상시키기 위해 영역-점 회귀 크리깅(area-to-point regression kriging, ATPRK) 기반의 2단계 spatio-spectral fusion method (2SSFM)을 제안하였다. 2SSFM은 ATPRK와 random forest 회귀 모형을 결합하여 다중센서 위성영상에서 높은 공간해상도를 갖는 분광 밴드를 예측한다. 첫 번째 단계에서는 다중센서 위성영상 사이의 공간해상도 차이를 감소시키기 위해 ATPRK 기반 공간 상세화를 수행한다. 두 번째 단계에서는 다중센서 위성영상 사이의 분광 밴드의 관계성을 정량화하기 위해 random forest를 이용한 회귀 모델링을 적용하였다. 2SSFM의 예측 성능은 적색 경계와 단파 적외선 밴드를 생성하는 사례 연구를 통해 평가하였다. 사례 연구에서 2SSFM은 실제 분광 밴드와 유사한 분광패턴을 보이면서 공간해상도가 향상된 적색 경계와 단파 적외선 밴드를 생성할 수 있었으며, 2SSFM가 고해상도 위성영상에서 제공하지 않은 분광 밴드 생성에 유용함을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 2SSFM을 통해 실제로 획득 불가능하지만 환경 모니터링에 효과적인 분광 밴드를 예측함으로써 다양한 분광 지수를 생성할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        지식 검색 서비스 개선을 위한 문서의 적합도 및 신뢰도 분석

        지식 검색 서비스가 국내 포탈들의 대표적인 서비스로 정착되었음에도 불구하고, 지금까지 지식 검색 서비스의 질적 향상을 위한 연구나 지식 검색 데이터베이스의 문서 평가에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지식 검색 데이터베이스를 구성하는 지식 문서의 평가 기준을 제시하였다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 지식 문서를 구성하는 질문 제목, 질문 전체, 답변의 적합도 평가 기준을 제안하고, 답변의 신뢰도 평가 기준도 제시하였다. 이러한 평가 기준에 근거하여 본 연구에서는 지식 문서의 실제 평가를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 지식 검색 테스트 컬렉션 구축과 신뢰도 컬렉션 구축에 활용되어 궁극적으로 지식 검색 서비스 개선에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. This study suggests evaluation criteria for the web-based question-answer databases provided by major Korean search portals. In particular, this study suggests evaluation criteria for the relevance of question titles, entire questions, and answer's. The evaluation criteria for the qualify of answers are also developed. Based on these criteria. evaluation of documents from Naver Knowledge-in are performed. The results of this study can be implemented to the development of test collection of question-answer databases. The implications for system designers and web content providers are discussed.
