We reviewed the cases of 35 knees of 34 patients who had arthroscopic debridement for degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee. The patients were followed up for an average of 29 months (range: 13 months to 45 months). The mean age of the patients at operation was 54 years (range: 44 years to 75 years). At the time of follow up, the patients were evaluated using the nine-point scale by Baumgaertner et al. We divided the knee into 4 stages according to the classification system by Jackson et al. Satisfactory results were achieved in 80%(stage I), 75%(stage II), 55.6%(stage III) and 25%(stage IV) of the patients. Arthroscopic debridement is of significant value in the earlier stages of degenerative osteoarthritis (stage I and II) for the symptom relief as a simple procedure with rare complication as well as in the later stages(stage III and IV) as a time buying procedure before the total knee arthroplasty.

Neurilemmoma is a benign encapsulated nerve sheath tumor originated from peripheral nerve. Previously its preoperative diagnosis had mainly depended on the history, physical examination, electrodiagnostic test, ultrasonography, bone scan. But only with these diagnostic modalities, exact preoperative diagnosis was nearly impossible. Therefore operation was performed under the impression of lipoma or just simple soft tissue tumor. Recently, the advent of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) has made it easier to diagnose neurilemoma before surgery. MRI also helps to determine the extent of lesion and operative procedures. We performed marginal excision in 24 cases, evaluated those cases with respect to the sex, age, location, chief complaint, duration of illness, preoperative diagnosis, involved nerve, imaging studies, size of mass, complication, duration of follow-up and report with review of the literature. 부산대학교 병원 정형외과학 교실에서는 24례의 신경초종 환자를 치험하였고 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 신경초종은 성인에 대개 단일성으로 발생하며 주로 상지의 굴곡면에서 촉진가능한 무통성 종괴를 주소로 내원하게 되며 자기공명영상을 이용하면 거의 확진 가능하고 수술상에서도 신경에서 흔히 편심성으로 위치하며 병소 변연부 절제술로 적출이 용이하였으며 합병증으로 감각이상과 표재성 감염이 드물게 발생했지만 일시적이었고, 악성화하거나 재발한 경우는 없었다. 따라서 자기공명영상은 병소의 부위와 범위파악에 유용하며 병소 변연부 절제술은 재발없이 신경초종을 치유할 수 있는 방법으로 권장될 수 있다.
Cu(In,Ga)Se<sub>2</sub> 박막의 저온 성장 및 NaF 후속처리를 통한 태양전지 셀 특성 연구

High efficiency $Cu(In,Ga)Se_2$ solar cells are generally prepared above $500^{\circ}C$. Lowering the process temperature can allow wider selection of substrate material and process window. In this paper, the three-stage co-evaporation process widely used to grow CIGS thin film at high temperature was modified to reduce the maximum substrate temperature. Below $400^{\circ}C$ the CIGS films show poor crystal growth and lower solar cell performance, in spite of external Na doping by NaF. As a new approach, Cu source instead of Cu with Se in the second stage was applied on the $(In,Ga)_2Se_3$ precursor at $400^{\circ}C$ and achieved a better crystal growth. The distribution of Ga in the films produce by new method were investigated and solar cells were fabricated using these films.
