        멀티미디어 통신시스템을 대상으로한 사용자 만족 전략의 감성공학적 수립

        The primary objective of this research was to establish and quantify the relationship between the physical degradation factors of multimedia telecommunications (teleconferencing) system and Subjective human perception. The research was performed in two stages. A field survey of the real users and pilot experiments were carried out in the first stage to determine customers' major complaints and corresponding system degradation factors. A prototype teleconferencing simulator was developed in two separate sound-treated chambers equipped with audio/video equipment running under a custom-developed software program. In the second stage, simulation experiments using the semantic differential methodology were performed utilizing 26 paid participants (14 college students and 12 housewives). The results indicated that audio/video synchronization and the frame rate were the main system factors for both subject groups, but different pattern of factors' influence was found according to the group, implying that the system configuration would hopefully accommodate the characteristics of the end users. Also, a single quality index, developed for system preference, was revealed to be highly correlated with user satisfaction. The results provide some fundamental data on the human subjective perception of multimedia telecommunications quality, and further can help establish the quality standards to enhance service level.

        퍼지 언어적 평가법과 품질기능전개개념을 이용한 무선호출기의 감성공학적 제품설계 응용사례

        This study proposed a method to apply certain fuzzy-related Quality control concepts to design customer-oriented products considering user requirements and information starting with the product development stage. This approach showed how to define the importance level of design elements and how to Quantify complex subjective perception of products using the fuzzy linguistic rating method and quality function deployment concepts. Using this approach, various customer requirements could be interpreted and reflected on the early design phase of a new product. To validate the proposed method, an experiment was conducted for designing the shape of the beeper using 14 subjects and 10 commercial beeper products. Front area, width/length ratio, thickness, curve variance, weight, and display area were selected as design elements of the beeper. The results showed that among design elements, front area and weight are significantly related with the subjective perception of the products. Consequently, this study indicates that customer decision on product selection could be made by quantification of user perception for beeper products.

        친환경 세라믹 도료 열적측정을 통한 쿨루프 정책 확대방안

        The urban heat island phenomenon that accelerates global warming has always been controversial when summer heatwaves have occurred since it was first investigated and described by Luke Howard in the 1810s. In Korea, since 2014, government have been interested in Cool Roof and painted white coating on the rooftops of the aging and weak buildings, and the cool roof business has expanded nationwide. However, the roof occupies 20-25% of the entire city surface, much less than 37-45% of the pavement area consisting of roads, parking lots and sidewalks, there is a need to expand the policy of Cool Pavement as a way to reduce the urban heat island phenomenon. Domestic cities are high-rise buildings centered on apartments, and the area occupied by outer walls is larger than that of rooftops compared to foreign low-rise buildings. Therefore, as a way to reduce the urban heat island phenomenon, there is a need for a policy to expand the Cool Roof in buildings and use Cool Wall in parallel. Therefore, this study aims to present the expansion of Cool Wall in buildings and Cool Pavement in urban areas, expanding the installation range of Cool Roof, by comparing and reviewing the thermal characteristics of eco-friendly ceramic coating with excellent thermal proof performance and coatings used for roof waterproofing.

        휴대용 카세트 소음의 인간공학적 평가 및 안전대책

        Recently, noise from personal cassette players (PCP) poses growing concerns together with occupational noise-induced hearing loss. Eighteen male and female volunteer subjects participated to determine preferred noise levels for PCP usage before, during, and after 2-hour subway riding according to sources (types) of PCP listening (language/news, soft music, and hard music). Audiometric tests were conducted before and after the 2-hour exposure of PCP noise under subway riding. Statistical analyses showed some significant hearing losses with the greatest loss of more than 6 dB at 4000 Hz for both ears, indicating that serious noise-induced hearing loss would potentially occurred due to prolonged use of PCPs. Practical safety countermeasures against PCP noise are further discussed.

      • 차열도료를 이용한 쿨루프의 동계 열적 특성에 관한 연구

        Cool Roof is a roof with thermal properties with high solar reflectivity and a high radiation rate, which is commonly referred to as a roof that has a lower surface temperature than conventional roofs. In the wake of the 2018 heat wave, local governments are expanding their cool roof businesses in poor and old public facilities in preparation for the summer heat wave, even installing cool roof through building energy efficiency loan support, and applying long-term waterproofing and high-heated technology at the same time, unlike the previous method of applying only white heat-blocking paint on rooftops. In this study, the thermal characteristics of the winter of the cool roof are considered first by making 3 models of urethane coating and polyurea coating, which are currently used for building roof exposed waterproofing, and vacuum ceramic coating with eco-friendly thermal proof performance.

        As the heat wave occurred due to global warming, local governments vigorously expanded the cool roop business to public facilities with poor energy use environment and anti-aging facilities in preparation for summer heat waves. Therefore, in this study, we want to examine the thermal characteristics of the cool roof during winter by comparing a common Urethane waterproof coating and a Energy Saver urethane waterproof coating with a eco-friendly Nano ceramic cool roof waterproof coating.

        건물외피 부착형 자연채광 하이브리드 조명시스템의 실측에 관한 연구

        Artificial lighting accounts for a significant portion of the electric energy use in buildings. Therefore, daylighting is considered one of the fundamental design features of energy-efficient buildings, and daylighting is important roles of physiological & mental comfort improvement, learning & work improvement, health recovery in human. The purpose of this paper is to survey daylighting hybrid illumination system performance using building envelope attached type. This system is consisted of a reflecting heliostat, a hybrid light collector which is mixed reflecting type and refraction type, a mirror pipe type light transformer and a prism light distributor. The experiment data was collected from 9:00 am to 14:00 pm every 1 minute and the average was calculated for every 10 minute of the data collection to obtain the system efficiency. As a result, it was found that the daylighting hybrid illumination system can produce average 136 ㏓∼263 ㏓ in a room area of 4.5m wide x 3.0m length x 2.35m height. The results indicated that the daylighting hybrid illumination system can be good to KS intensity of illumination “F-pattern” basis (150-200-300 lx). In addition to, it was found that the daylighting hybrid illumination system can produce average uniformity ratio as 0.53∼0.76 in a room being installed light distributor.

        To propose the optimum of green remodeling heating system for reproducing the functional value of deteriorated apartments, this study was aimed at developing the program of economic & green remodeling heating system by Life Cycle Costing and CO2 emission quantities. The program of green remodeling heating system was composed of 1)Input of the existing heating facilities and energy consumption, 2)Comparison with LCC 15, 20 years of Central Heating System and Unit Heating System and District Heating System, 3)Comparison with CO2 emission quantities in heating system alternatives, 4)Optimum remodeling heating system by local energy cost.
