The capacity of heat demand energy for the town is estimated preferentially to validate application of a district heating system as developing town or city. Korean government have suggested hourly cooling and heating load unit by building uses and cities through bulletin, but heating and cooling degree days have to be applied to calculate capacity of heat demands and heat sources due to using hourly date. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to suggest a basic data for demand prediction of heat energy and management in city level according to calculate energy consumption unit and analyze monthly heat consumption of district heating for Haeundae New Town in Busan.

Recently, many social, economical and political problems have occurred in the field of urban energy supply because of the depletion of fossil fuels and the international climate change agreements and the current energy-related laws focus on individual buildings which makes them difficult to implement. Also, the policies for energy savings have increased day by day, but it is difficult to establish efficient urban plan because of lack of integrated policies and institutions. Current legal systems for urban plan does not cover domestic and international climate change agreements, energy related industry's structural changes and other environmental problems such as embodied energy and global warming. This paper tries to investigate current conditions of legal system to provide fundamental materials for improving energy saving urban plan.

Recently, the energy consumption of residential houses is increasing more and more in South Korea according to elevating of the level of living. Therefore, South Korean government is trying to save the energy as strengthening of standard in law and the introduction of incentive system. Also, Government is planning to reinforce the U-factor of windows up to 0.41 Btu/ hr.ft²F2.3 W/㎡.K) by 2010 as the indication that the current legal standard(U-factor) of the windows is established higher than current technology. The concern of low-e windows for reducing the energy loss is increased these days. In this research, we estimated annual energy consumptions by using eQUEST program to six widows in Inchon and Ulsan to analyze the effects about the energy saving of the windows for detached houses.
주택 창의 SHGC가 에너지소비에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

U-factor and solar heat gain coefficient(SHGC) usually can be used as the index to evaluate the thermal performance. U-factor is a concept for heat loss by the temperature difference between inside and outside, so it’s useful to be applied in heating season. But SHGC that indicates the fraction of heat from incident solar radiation that flows through a window by means of optical transmission, as well as absorption, re-radiation and convection is for cooling season. In other words, U-factor and SHGC of windows by cities have to be reflected to select the window of the energy conservation. The purpose of this research is to analyze the energy use impacts by SHGCs of windows for detached house in Inchon and Ulsan through energy simulation by eQUEST.

In general, deterioration of water supply pipe causes not only worsening water quality by red water but malfunctioning water supply system and increasing running cost water leak from pipes. Especially, deterioration of water supply pipe in apartment building that was built about 15 years ago is accelerating more quickly than other pipes due to galvanized steel pipes which are vulnerable to corrosion. Deterioration evaluation of water supply system for apartment building is important process in terms of improvement of water quality and energy conservation. Through this research, residual thickness and inside volume of horizontal and vertical main pipes by destructive test method to apartment building built 14 years ago in Busan are measured and closing rate, erosion rate and residual life are evaluated.

Korean government strongly promotes the low-consumption energy society through GREEN GROWTH because of global warming and climate change. According to a societal trend, many cities are developing a renewable energy such as wind power, water power, solar power. Also recently many people are interested in U-city and U-Eco city which deals with an environment and an ubiquitous technique. The purpose of this study is to improve present law or system for a construction of efficient U-Eco city by expert questionnaire. The subjects of questionnaire are the experts in connection with a field of city plan, energy, law system and IT. We searched the problem of present law or system for energy and the improvement by questionnaire.

Currently, in comparison with other architectural estimations, the estimation work regarding building mechanical-service systems is time-consuming, and the process is continuously becoming more difficult because of the increased usage of the attached piping materials such as fittings and hangings in addition to their complicated construction processes. To improve this problem, the Korean authority provides a simple estimation method for the attached-material rate regarding the main piping material, which is the most time-consuming work in the architectural-mechanical estimation. However, to be an applicable method on construction sites, a proper conversion rate of the attached-piping material is still required for the proposed method regarding building usage and working types. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the calculation of the rate of the attached-piping materials such as the fittings and supports through the building of the mechanical-service work types of mechanical rooms, air conditioning, domestic water and hot-water supplies, and the drain-, vent-, and gas-piping work in office buildings that have been designed after 2010.

With significantly raising energy conservation attributed to windows, there is a need to the method for calculating energy consumption on architectural design step. The purpose of this research is to suggest the regression equation to estimate energy consumption on architectural design step by SHGCs and U-factors of windows for detached house in Inchon and Ulsan through energy simulation using eQUEST program. Annual energy consumption for Inchon and Ulsan with 20% and 30% of window-to wall ratio(WWR) is expressed by 2D-contour. Especially, eight regression equations, 20% and 30% of WWR according to heating and annual energy in Inchon and Ulsan, are suggested by multi regression analysis using SPSS Statistics 20.0 program to calculate more accurate energy and the equations show appropriately deu to below 0.05 of p-value according to U-examination of Mann-Whitney from difference of energy consumption between simulation and equation to alternatives of thirteen windows.

??Recently, central and local governments of Korea have established and implemented various energy policies such as making energy map of city level and establishment of environment friendly city plan to materialize low carbon green city. The pipes used in buildings are generally categorized into metallic or plastic materials. Metal pipes, such as copper and stainless steel pipes, are mainly used for water and hot water supply, and for the heating system. However, plastic pipes made of polyethylene and cross-linked polyethylene are used for floor heating, water drainage, and air vent systems. Usually, plastic pipes have thermal demerits, such as high linear expansion coefficients and bending phenomenon by hot water, although the pipes have several merits of light weight, low price, low thermal conductivity, and the comparatively high workability of metal pipes. Therefore, if those kind of demerits are overcome, plastic pipes can be easily accepted for hot water systems. This research is aimed to evaluate the applicability for vertical heating pipes of a plastic pipe system consisting of electric fusion fitting of a conductive carbon compound and propylene random glass fiber pipe, through measurement of the expansion rate and leakage in summer and winter seasons, in the apartment construction field.
