지역 컨벤션산업의 조직간 네트워크 형성이 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구는 지역 컨벤션산업 조직간의 네트워크 형성과 성과간의 관계를 파악하여 컨벤션 조직의 효율적인 네트워크 관리방안을 고찰하는 연구이다. 실증분석을 통해 지역 컨벤션산업의 컨벤션산업 네트워크 형성과 조직성과의 관계성을 컨벤션 조직유형별 (컨벤션 공공부문: CVB 및 컨벤션센터, 서비스공급자 : 호텔 및 여행사, 컨벤션매개자 : PCO 및 PEO)로 분석하고 연구의 차별성을 확보하였다. 분석결과 전체적으로 네트워크의 상호작용적 요인은 조직성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 지역컨벤션 산업은 지역제도 환경과 지방정부의 개방적이고 적극적인 역할이 선행되어야 하며 공공부문과 민간영역의 조직들 간에 구조적 상호작용의 산물이라고 할 수 있다. 특히 공공 부문이 주도하는 우리나라 컨벤션산업의 특성상 민간영역의 참여를 더욱 끌어낼 수 있는 지방정부의 네트워크 관리 역량 배양이 필요하다. The goal of this study is to consider an efficient method of a network management of the convention organizations by identifying the relationship between the network formation among convention-related organizations within regional convention industry and performance results. An analysis was implemented to understand the relationship between network formation and performance results of an organization by type of the organization(convention public sector: CVB & convention center / service provider: Hotel & travel agency /convention mediator: PCO & PEO), and to differentiate the study. Overall, the outcome of the analysis indicated that interactional factors of a formed network have a meaningful impact on the performance results of an organization. According to the result, it may be concluded that the development of the local convention industry is a product of a friendly institutional environment and openness and proactive role of the local government.

컨벤션센터 단지구성의 변화과정 분석: 코엑스 사례를 중심으로

The goal of this study was to analyze the changing process of convention complex focusing on COEX complex through a historical approach. System theory was applied to examine the influence of an internal and external environment on the change of convention complex. In detail, external environmental factors such as economy and politics were set as an input element, and an organizational environmental factors were set as an internal input element, that interacts with the external environment. These external and internal environmental factors were set to impact the change of convention complex through a transformational element of organizational structure and operation. Empirical analysis was implemented with a focus on the changes in the COEX complex from 1977 to 2014. The result showed that the composition of facilities of convention complex was based on functional elements due to external environmental factors in the beginning. However, with the passage of time, the complex underwent changes focusing on functions of tourism and entertainment due to an impact from multiple interactions of external and internal environmental factors. In addition, the changes showed the characteristics of geographical concentration and functional complexity, the ways of complex operation shifted from government-driven to those driven by stakeholders`` network.

지역컨벤션산업의 조직간 네트워크형성 영향요인에 관한 연구 : PCO 조직을 중심으로

본 연구는 지역컨벤션산업 조직간 네트워크 형성에 영향을 미치는 네트워크 환경요인을 파악함으로써 지역컨벤션산업조직간 네트워크 형성을 촉진하는 환경적 조건마련을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하고자 하는 목적으로 실시되었다. 이를 위해 컨벤션산업과 조직간 네트워크, 네트워크 형성영향요인연구에 관한 문헌검토가 이루어졌다. 이를 토대로 연구모형과 가설을 구성하고 서울지역의 PCO 조직을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 실증분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 지역컨벤션산업의 조직간 네트워크의 구조적 요인을 형성하는데는 지역제도환경요인과 컨벤션산업 관련조직간 관계요인이, 네트워크의 상호작용적 요인을 형성하는 데는 지방정부의 특성요인과 PCO 조직간 관계요인, 컨벤션산업 관련조직간 관계요인이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 지역컨벤션산업조직간 네트워크 활성화를 위해서는 지역제도환경 마련과 함께 조직간 관계를 구성하는 것이 중요하다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 정책적 시사점으로는 정책이해관계자간 네트워크 조직인 MICE Alliance의 활성화 및 지방정부의 조정역량 강화 등이 제시되었다. This study aimed to investigate network environmental factors influencing interorganizational network formation of regional convention industry for the purpose of developing an appropriate theoretical model for the convention industry and suggesting practical ways for formulating its interorganizational network. The literature review covered the concepts of convention industry, interorganizational network, and the review of the related previous researches. A research model was designed and hypotheses were established based on previous researches. Survey data were collected from PCO in Seoul area. The results indicated that regional institutional environment factors and interorganizational relationship factors had positive influences on structural factors of network formation, and that interorganizational relationship factors of PCO, interorganizational relationship factors of convention industry organizations along with regional governmental characteristics factors had positive influences on interactive factors of network formation. Thus, it is important that regional institutional environment should be arranged, and that interorganizational relationship should be set to activate network of convention industry organizations. The study also suggested that MICE Alliacne as a consultive group of regional convention industry be invigorated and regional government‘s capacity be strengthened.
