본 연구는 그 동안 주로 석유화학의 개질공정 등에서 적용되었던 이산화탄소 흡수분리기술을 연소배가스에 적용하기 위한 기본적인 연구로서, 이산화탄소의 흡수분리공정에 일반적으로 많이 사용되는 흡수제인 MEA(mono-ethanol amine)를 연소배가스에 적용하였을 경우 예상되는 열화, 재생에너지 및 흡수능력 등의 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 거론되는 입체장애아민인 AMP(2-amino 2-methyl 1-propanol) 수용액과 이산화탄소와의 흡수평형 특성을 비교 평가하였다. 실험결과 AMP는 MEA에 비하여 이산화탄소의 흡수능력이 반응 메카니즘에 의하여 약 2배 정도 증가함을 확인하였고, 연소배가스와 같은 저농도 이산화탄소 흡수분리공정 설계에 필요한 흡수평형자료를 부분적으로 제시하였다. This research was basically carried out to extend the application of $CO_2$ absorption processes for flue-gas system, which are mainly applied to a reforming process in petro-chemical industries. In general, MEA absorbent has some problems in flue-gas treatment, such as, degradation, regeneration energy and absorption capacities. As we known, sterical hindered amine, typically AMP (2-amino 2-methyl 1-propanol), have a good potential to improve these problems. In this paper, the characteristics of $CO_2$ absorption in aqueous AMP solution were measured and compared with that of MEA. It has been found that the $CO_2$ absorption capacity in AMP is double than that of MEA in the low $CO_2$ partial pressure system such as flue-gas. Also, the equilibriums of $CO_2$-AMP system were partially suggested, which are essentially needed to design the absorption process.

Water+N-Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), Water+2-Amino-2-Methyl-1-Propanol (AMP), MDEA+AMP의 이성분계, Water+MDEA+AMP의 삼성분계에서 밀도를 Anton Paar DMA4500 밀도계를 이용하여 303.15 K에서 333.15 K의 온도범위에서 10 K 간격으로 혼합물의 전체 조성에서 측정하였다. 과잉부피 실험값은 실험적으로 측정된 밀도결과로부터 얻어졌고 Redlich-Kister-Muggianu 식으로 상관하였다. 이성분계로부터 얻은 매개변수를 이용하여 삼성분계에 대한 계산을 수행하였다. 삼성분계의 계산에는 하나의 추가적인 매개변수를 필요로 한다. 검토한 모든 이성분계와 삼성분계는 측정된 조건에서 과잉부피가 음의 값을 가지므로 완전히 섞임을 알 수 있다. In this study, densities of water + N-Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), Water + 2-Amino-2-Methyl-1-Propanol (AMP), MDEA + AMP binary systems and Water+MDEA+AMP ternary system were measured over the full range of composition at temperatures from 303.15 K to 333.15 K by using an Anton Paar digital vibrating tube densimeter (DMA4500). The experimental excess volumes have been obtained from the experimental density results and have been fitted using the Redlich-Kister-Muggianu expression. The parameters obtained from the binary excess volume data were used for the correlation of ternary system with one additional ternary parameter for each isotherm. All investigated binary and ternary systems are completely miscible, because the values of excess volume are negative under the examined conditions.

The water level of a lake located in the estuary of a river is heavily dependent upon the overlapping time of outer tide level and inner flood flowing into the lake in the rainy season. In this paper, the water level of Young-San lake is studied in case of 4 critical matching conditions(H-H, H-L, L-H, L-L) according to the matching of tidal curve and flood hydrograph. Among the 4 conditions, H-H condition could be the most critical conditions when we study the change of lake water level in the rainy season. The result of this study could be used for the design of barrage gate which is or will be located in the estuary of a river.
CO2 및 CO2-O2 시스템에서 알카놀아민류 흡수제를 이용한 CO2 흡수 및 흡수제 열화 특성

Amine can undergo irreversible reactions by O2 and high temperature in amine scrubbing process and these phenomena are called degradation. Degradation causes not only a loss of valuable amine, but also operational problems such as foaming, corrosion and fouling. In this study, using various chemical absorbents(MEA; monoethanolamine, AMP; 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol, DAM; 1,8-diamino-p-menthane), we examined the following variable. i) loading ratio of CO2 at 50℃ and 120℃, ii) concentration variation and initial degradation rate constant of absorbent in CO2 and CO2/O2 system, and iii) effect of degradation by O2. The CO2, loading of 20 wt% DAM was 400% and 270% higher than that of 20 wt% MEA and AMP at 50, respectively and was the largest the difference of CO2 loading between absorption (50℃) and regeneration (120℃) condition. The initial degradation rate constant of 20 wt% DAM was 2.254×10(-4) cycle-1 which was slower than that of MEA (2.761×10(-4) cycle-1) and AMP (2.416×10(-4) cycle-1) in CO2 system. Also, it was increased 30% by O2 that effects on the degradation by O2 was less than 100% increased, these degradation reactions was able to identify by formation of new peak in GC and FT-IR spectrum analysis.

In this study, absorption behaviors of absorbents and additives were measured for removing of H₂S and COS from syn-gas in IGCC process, such as MDEA and HMDA. The experimental variables were concentration of absorbents and reaction temperature. From these experiments, the loading ratios of H₂S were decreased with increasing of concentration of absorbents and absorption temperatures. These results will be applied to basic data for designing of H₂S removal process in IGCC.
