Recently. Adaptive Cruise Control(ACC) system has been commercialized by major automobile companies. Because there are the subtle differences between the driving style of ACC system and that of human driver. the importance of human driver's driving characteristics have been increasingly recognized. In this papers. the driver's driving behavior characteristics and a driver-adaptive control algorithm have been investigated. By the use of CAN(Controller Area Network). several vehicle states were obtained. Experimental vehicle was also equipped with brake pedal force sensor and three accelerometers. A step toward understanding human driving patterns would be to study the relation among time-gap. Time-to-collision. clearance. relative-speed. etc. We compare the simulation results of the driver-adaptive control algorithm based on human driving data with those of nominal ACC algorithm. It has been shown that the vehicle following behavior of the controlled vehicle with the adaptive control algorithm is quite close to that of the human controlled vehicles. Therefore. it can be expected that the more natural and more comfortable vehicle behavior would be achieved by the use of the driver adaptive cruise control algorithm.<br/>

Meconium peritonitis is a primarily aseptic, chemical peritonitis caused by the spill of meconium into the abdominal cavity through an intestinal perforation during the intrauterine or perinatal period. The perforation is known to be related to intrauterine vascular compromise. Recently, the authors experienced 4 cases of ileal atresia complicated by meconium peritonitis. The male to female sex ratio was 1 : 3, and age at operation was 1 day(2 cases), 3 days(2 cases). Three cases had generalized peritonitis, and one the cystic type of meconium peritonitis. The types of ileal atresia were IIIa(2 cases), IIIb(1 case), and II(1 case). The proximal blind ileal end was perforated in 3 cases, and distal end perforation was in 1 case of cystic type. Postoperative recovery was excellent in all cases.

본 연구는 위험성 분석 기법을 통해 화학 산업 시설에서 발생 가능한 화학 테러에 대한 원인을 규명하고, 기존의 테러 대응 방법에 대한 분석 및 평가를 함으로써 효과적 대응 개선 방안을 마련하기 위 한 프로그램 개발이다. 테러 위험성 평가 프로그램은 자산 분석 (Asset Characterization), 위협 평가(Threat Assessment), 취약성 분석(Vulnerability Analysis), 위험성 평가(Risk Assessment), 대응책 제시(New Countermeasure)의 총 5단계의 순차적 알고리즘으로 구성되어 있다. 개발된 프로그램을 항만에 위치한 석유 저장 및 정제 공정에 적용하여 테러 위험성과 그 원인을 분석함으로써 위험성 평가 프로그램의 효용성과 신뢰성을 검증하였다. 화학 산업 시설에서의 보안 및 테러리즘에 대한 문제성 제기를 통해 그 해결책을 제시하고 테러의 취약점과 원인을 규명함으로써 테러나 재해 (extreme event) 발생 시 효과적인 대응책 마련이나 대응 전략 수립에 기여하고자 개발된 프로그램이다. This study focuses on assessing the security ri sk or the terrorism in chemical process industries. This research modifies conventional method for assessing the terrorism risk. The risk assessment method is developed and it is implemented as software to analyze the possibility of terrorism and sabotage. This program includes five steps; asset characterization, threat assessment, vulnerability analysis, risk assessment and new countermeasures. It is a systematic, risk based approach in which risk is a function of the severity of consequences of an undesired event, the likelihood of adversary attack, and the likelihood of adversary success in causing the undesired event. The reliability of the program is verified using a dock zone case. The case dock zone includes a storage farm, a manufacturing plant, an electrical supply utility, a hydrotreater unit, many containers, and administration buildings. This study represents chemical terrorism response technology, the prevention plan, and new countermeasure to mitigate by using risk assessment methods in the chemical industry and public sector. This study suggests an effective approach to the chemical terrorism response management.
