전통시대 상소는 당대 사회를 이해하는 매우 중요한 텍스트이다. 상소는 사회의 다양한 모습을 담고 있다. 자신(혹은 자신이 속한 집단)의 이익과 그로 인한 정치적 갈등이 상소에 잘 드러나 있다. 본 연구는 상소에 나타난 조선 후기 사회의 분열 양상을 살펴보았다. 17세기 이후 중앙의 정치세력과 연대가 미흡했던 영남 남인세력들은 향촌의 공론을 결집하여 다양한 상소를 제출하였다. 본 연구에서는 병호시비와 관련된 상소를 통해 사회의 분열 양상이 상소에 어떻게 표현되었는지를 살펴보았다. 병호시비는 조선 후기 안동 지역을 중심으로 이루어졌으나 조선 사회 전체가 관심을 가졌던 사건으로, 19세기 조선 사회를 이해할 수 있는 단서 중의 하나이다. 병호시비를 통해 당대 조선 사회가 분열된 양상을 일정부분 살펴볼 수 있었다. 여강서원의 사액이라는 공통된 목표를 위해 한 목소리를 내었던 영남 남인들이 각 계열로 분열되었고, 자신들의 주장을 관철하기 위해 상소라는 텍스트를 사용하였다. 본 연구는 풍산류씨 화경당 소장 상소를 통해 텍스트에 드러난 분열 양상을 살펴보았다. 화경당 소장 상소에는 서애계가 바라본 병호시비의 원인과 해결방안이 제시되어 있다. 서애계는 자신들의 주장을 뒷받침할 여러 근거를 제시하여 상소를 작성하였다. 화경당 소장 상소에는 조선 후기 분열된 퇴계학파의 양상을 보여준다. 병호시비를 계기로 극심했던 서애계와 학봉계의 분열 양상을 화경당 소장 상소를 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 상소라는 장르는 전통시대의 분열 양상을 잘 보여주는 텍스트임을 확인하였다. The objective of this study was to look at cleavage aspects in the late Joseon Dynasty society that appeared in Sangso. Yongnam Southerners, who lacked solidarity with political forces of the central region since the 17th century and filed various Sangso by unifying public opinions in their regions. This paper looked at how cleavage aspects of the society were expressed in Sangso through Sangso related to Byungho debate. The Byeongho Debate was centered around Andong in the late Joseon Dynasty. It was one of the important clues to understand Joseon society in the 19th century because the entire Joseon society was interested in it. Through the Byeongho debate, I was able to looked at some of the divided aspects of Joseon society at that time. This study examined cleavage aspects that appeared in the text through Sangso possessed in Hwageongdang of Pungsan Ryu Clan. Southerners in Yongnam expressed their claims through text called Sangso. Sangso possessed in Hwageongdang is shown in divided aspects in the late Jeseon society in detail. This process, in which two affiliations that joined the power were divided according to their position, was clearly revealed in Sangso.

기속시를 통해 본 18C 민간생활상 -국포(菊圃) 강박(姜樸)과 모헌(慕軒) 강필신(姜必愼)의 기속시를 중심으로-

Pak, Gang(姜樸) and Pilshin, Gang(姜必愼)`s Poem of Customs(紀俗詩) is very important in folklore because it shows in detail the people`s lifestyle in Seoul in the early eighteenth century. Poem of Seasonal Customs(歲時紀俗詩) is also significant in the earliest ``series poetries`` in literature to people who recite ``seasonal-customs(歲時風俗).`` The aspect of ``Poem of Customs`` is concerned about ``seasonal-customs,`` ``Chosun,`` and people`s lives. It minutely explains customs through ``annotation,`` presents the origin of customs through documents having interest about ours, and importantly, it illustrats customs which are performed only in Chosun. Moreover, the product explains the peculiar characteristic of Chosun as compared with the Chinese customs. Hence, Poem of Customs is very significant in folklore because we can find aspects of seasonal-customs which were not seen before in their work, and the changes of customs through the comparison with the works of seasonal-customs of posterity. Pak and Pilshin`s Poem of Customs involves the reality of the day of the wide gap between the rich and the poor with the development of business. In addition, it expresses well the general features of Poem of Customs which involves emotions of the people shaped by their images through a specifiable description with representation about aspects of various lives of the people.

삼의당 김씨는 여성의 문학창작이 쉽지 않았던 조선이라는 시대적 상황에도 불구하고 많은 양의 작품을 남긴 조선후기의 대표적인 한시 작가이다. 삼의당의 시는 내용에 따라 크게 두 가지 경향으로 나타난다. 첫째는 유학적 사고를 바탕으로 창작된 시이고, 둘째는 개인의 감정을 읊은 시이다. 삼의당은 `시는 성정을 드러내는 것`이라는 문학관을 바탕으로, 자신이 공부한 유학 경전을 통해 유학적 사유를 체계화 하여 문학으로 표현하면서도, 아울러 자신의 감정을 숨기지 않고 적극적으로 묘사하였다. 삼의당은 당시의 사대부 여성들이 받았던 교육을 통해 유학적 사고방식을 자연스럽게 익혔고, 내면화된 유학의 이치를 따라 살고자 하였으며, 이는 시를 통해 표출되었다. 그러나 삼의당이 유교적 예의범절에 갇혀 개인의 감정을 감추기만 한 것은 아니었다. 삼의당의 한시는 남편에 대한 사랑과 그리움 등을 적극적으로 묘사하였다. 당대의 사회적 경향으로 인해 직접적으로 드러낼 수 없었던 개인의 감정-사랑이나 그리움 등-을 자연환경이나 일상생활 등 주변의 소재를 통해 적극적으로 표현하였다. 삼의당의 지극히 개인적이고, 감각적인 부부간의 애정묘사는 조선후기 사대부 여성이라는 작가의 신분적 지위를 고려하면 큰 의미를 가진다. 감정의 표현에 소극적이었던 다른 여성작가들과는 달리 사랑에 대한 적극적이고 섬세한 묘사는 삼의당 한시의 매우 중요한 특징으로, 작가의 의식세계가 잘 보여주는 부분이다. Kimsamidang(金三宜堂) is a representative women writer who left lots of works of Chinese poem in the late Chosen dynasty under the difficult situation that women had hardly written a literary works. In general, there are two typical characters in her poetry. One is the poem based on Confucian consideration, and the other is the personal feeling-oriented one. She has naturally learned about Confucian consideration like other women at those times with the inner belief of Confucian reason and it as a result comes out through her poetry. It, however, does not mean that she has hidden her feeling inside by the influence of etiquette of the time. She, for example, directly expresses her feeling about love and longing toward her husband through her poetry and by doing so, she wants to transcend the social environment of her time that bind on the expression of personal feeling-love and longing-by describing of her surroundings such as nature and daily life. It makes her poetry distinguish from other works of contemporary women writers: it is the maxim of her poetry with the positive and delicate description reflecting on her consciousness.
