용접구조용고장력강 용접부의 pH에 따른 부식 거동과 강도 특성에 관한 연구

This study has been performed for constant-current immersion corrosion test and tensile test related to various pH values in welded zone of welding structural high tensile strength steel(SM490A). The results obtained from the study are as follows. Under pH2 and pH12 environment, welded zone of SM490A showed rugged general corrosion and local corrosion with wied pitting, respectively. The rest of environments showed even general corrosion and narrow pitting. The average relative electrode potential and corrosion current of SM490A decreased as the value of pH got higher. However, under pH8 environment, relative electrode potential and corrosion current varied greatly with the lapse of immersion itme. Corrosion rate of SM490A was the highest in pH2 and was the lowest in pH8. Welded zone of SM490A showed a superior strength property within alkali range.
