        고삼추출물이 치은섬유아세포의 세포주기 조절단백질 발현에 미치는 영향

        Fibroblasts are major cellular components of gingiva and periodontal ligament. They regulate the healing process after surgery or injury. Recently, many natural medicines, whose advantages are less side effects and possibility of long-term use, have been studied for their capacity, their anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects and regenerative potential of periodontal tissues. Sophorae radix have been traditionally used as an anti-bacterial and antiinflammatory drug in oriental medicine. The purpose of present study was to investigate the effects of Sophorae radix extract on cell cycle progression and its molecular mechanism in human gingival fibroblasts. Sophorae radix extracts($100{\mu}g/ml$) notably increased cell proliferation and cell activity in the human gingival fibroblasts as compared to non-supplemented controls. There was an increase in the S phase and a decrease in the G1 phase in $100{\mu}g/ml$ of Sophorae radix extracts group as compared to non-supplemented controls. The level of cyclin E and cdk 2 protein in test group was higher than that of control groups. But that of cyclin D, cdk 4, and cdk 6 was not distinguished from controls. The level of p53 protein in test group was lower than that of controls, whereas that of p21 was not different. The level of pRB protein in test group was higher than that of controls, whereas that of p16 was lower. These results indicate that the increase of cell proliferation by Sophorae radix extracts may be due to the increased expression of cyclin E and cdk 2, and the decreased expression of p53 and p16 in human gingival fibroblasts.

        주거개발사업의 환경영향평가제도 개선방향

        The present study was performed to improve the Environmental Impact Assessment system by comparing and analysing EIA systems for Residential Developments in the light of the business practice. For the improvement of EIA system, future strategies from each of three part ; the organ of approval(Construction&Transportation Dept.) for residential developments, the organ of consultation(Environment Dept.) for EIA and a developer(Korea Nation Housing Corp.), were analysed, and EIA systems and the processes of Residential developments were analysed. Results from the analysis of problems have provided a proposal for improvement of the Environmental Impact Assessment.

        관동대진재와 한국문학

        관동대진재는 일본뿐만 아니라 당시의 조선에도 모든 사회분야에 걸쳐 심각한 충격과 파장을 남겼다. 특히 그때 자행된 조선인학살사건은 지금도 진상규명과 책임추궁이 제대로 이루어지지 못한 미해결상태에 있다. 관동대진재와 조선인학살사건의 경과와 실태는 당시 통치권력의 검열로 인해 자료의 제약이 많다. 그래서 시대가 바뀐 뒤에 회고록 방식으로 이루어진 증언들을 검토하여 그 의의와 한계를 살펴보고, 그 대안이 문학적 글쓰기 형식임을 밝혔다. 다음으로 관동대진재를 직접 현장에서 경험한 문인들을 신문보도, 문인사전이나 전기자료, 본인과 지인의 술회 등 여러 가지 자료들을 통해 확정하고, 그들이 처했던 정황에 대해서도 구체적으로 파악해서 제시하고자 했다. 당시 통치권력의 감시와 탄압 때문에 이를테면 관동대진재 문학으로 꼽을 만한 작품의 수효가 많지 않은 가운데 그래도 다수를 점한 것이 시 장르인데, 이상화의 〈독백〉이나 김소월의 〈車와 船〉은 대화체 발화법을 채택함으로써 그 파멸적 사건의 문학적 형상화에 성공적인 경지를 보였다. 한편 이기영은 대하장편 〈두만강〉에서 관동대진재를 식민지민족해방운동사의 거대한 화폭 속에 그렸으나, 체제 이념의 개입이 과도한 탓으로 일찍이 수필에 유려하게 그려 보였던 절망과 공포의 체험을 실감나게 재현하지는 못하고 말았다. Kanto-great earthquake disaster gave a severe shock and influence over all the social area in not only Japan and but also Korea. Especially the korean massacre incidents remains unsettled in according to the fact-finding and the responsibility of the result. The process and the reality of Kanto-great earthquake disaster and korean massacre incidents were restricted in the data by the censorship of the government power at that time. So, after examining the written testimonies of the memoir form after japanese imperialism fall to find out the significance and the limit, I proved literary writing as the alternative form. Next I decided upon the authors that had experienced the disaster on the scene immediately on the basis of the newspaper report, the dictionary of the authors, biographical data, reminiscence of the author, his family and friends etc. And I tried to present the state of things in the incident that was grasped concretely. Owing to the surveillance and suppression of the government power at that time, so to say, the majority among several works of Kanto-great earthquake disaster literature belongs to the poetic genre. Yi, Sang-wha's 〈Monologue〉 or Kim. So-wal's 〈Car and Ship〉 showed the successful state in literary figuration of the ruinous incidents by adopting the dialogue style narration. Meanwhile Yi, Ki-young, in his roman-fleuve 〈Tuman River〉, described the Kanto-great earthquake disaster in a huge scale of the history of national liberation movement, but due to the excessive intervention of the ideology of DPRK, he couldn't represent his personal experience that he, in that scene, had got the sensation of horror and desperation, refinedly being depicted in his miscellany before.

      • A Study on the Contamination of D.I. Water and its Effect on Semiconductor Device Manufacturing

        We analyzed the D.I. water used in wet cleaning process of semiconductor device manufacturing both at the D.I. water plant and at the wafer cleaning bath to detect the impurity source of D.I. water contamination. This shows that the quantity of impurity is related to the resistivity of D.I. water, and we found that the cleanliness of the wafer surface processed in D.I. water bath was affected by the degree of the ionic impurity contamination. So we evaluated the cleaning effect as different method for Fe ion, having the best adsoptivity on wafer surface. Moreover the temperature effect of the D.I. water is investigated in case of anion in order to remove the chemical residue after wet process. In addition to the control of D.I. water resistivity, chemical analysis of impurity control in D.I. water should be included and a suitable cleaning an drinsing method needs to be investigated for a high yielding semiconductor device.

        액적배열연소의 상호간섭에 관한 실험적 연구

        An experimental study was conducted to investigate the interaction phenomena of droplet array combustion in ambient environment. The droplet with 1 mm in diameter was supported from an optical fiber and ignited with a hot wire. Combustion lifetimes and burning rate constants were measured for fuel of nheptane according to parameters, which were junction and suspender spacings, and array configuration. Results show that the burning process considerably depends on the initial away configuration. The d$^2$-law is found to be correct when applied to both of the droplets in away and the single droplet. For separation distance of about 5mm, there exists a critical state. So the transition from a merged flame to separated flames occurs and burning velocity is much faster than before. Combustion lifetime of the lower droplet is shorter than that of the upper droplet in the two-dimensional arrays combustion. Burning rate constants of the droplets in arrays are smaller than that of the single droplet, while they become higher as separation distance increases. Combustion lifetimes of the droplets in arrays are longer than that of the single droplet and decrease as separation distance increase. It is concluded that the array configuration and the mergedness of the flame are the most important factors governing multi-droplet combustion.
