The Unification Church, the Olive Tree Movement, and the Yong Moon San Prayer Mountain were the well-known religious movements or “special evangelistic movements” since 1950s in the Korean Churches. By this is meant evangelistic movements under lay leaders, accompanied by special signs. It operated on a scale out-doing the evangelistic activity of the regular church and was in opposition to the established church. Na Oong Moung at Yong Moon San and Park Tai Sun in Seoul began a miracle-working type of evangelism. Above all, the Unification Church, the Olive Tree Movement were experimental in their interpretation of the scripture and new ritual. They were attacked from the established churches because of their assertions of messiah(Moon Syung Noon, Pail Tae Sun) or the affirmative sermons on Korean traditional religions(Na Oong Moung). This paper investigates the historical roots of the Unification Church, the Olive Tree Movement, the Yong Moon San Prayer Mountain, and their religious experiments in theology and ritual, which made the groups be attacked as heretics. Judging from traditional Christian doctrines, their theological imagination was incomplete and heretical. Their theological imagination, however, could be evaluated affirmatively in their theological construction based on their own religious experiences and the Korean traditional religions.

In this paper, vibration suppression of a CD-ROM main base with piezoelectric shunt circuit is studied. Admittance is introduced to predict the performance of piezoelectric shunt damping. Numerical admittance obtained by commercial finite element code, ANSYS, correlates well with experimentally measured one. Multimode piezoelectric shunt damping is realized based on the target mode and frequencies obtained by the admittance analysis. Experimental results prove that admittance of the piezoelectric structure is capable of predicting the performance of piezoelectric shunt damping and the vibration of the main base with the piezoelectric patches is reduced effectively.

항공기의 가스터빈 엔진에서 축에 결함이 있을 경우에 대한 건전성 평가를 비파괴방법으로 접근했다. 로터의 축에 결함이 있을 경우에는 국지적으로 강성이 약화되어 엄계속도가 달라진다. 결함이 있는 축의 순응도(compliance)행렬을 이용해서 각각의 결합의 위치와 깊이에 따른 임계속도를 구하고 이러한 결과들을 이용해 역 문제에 대한 자료를 구축함으로써 엔진 축의 건전성 평가를 수행하였다. Structural health monitoring has been conducted by non-destructive evaluation method when a turbine rotor system of an aircraft engine has cracks. Local stiffness of a turbine rotor system is degraded and critical speed is changed due to the presence of cracks in rotor. Critical speed which is affected by location and depth of crack, is obtained using compliance matrix of cracked rotor. The database of the obtained critical speed is used to evaluate structural health monitoring of a rotor system of a gas turbine engine.
