Human embryonic stem cells(hESCs) derived from inner cell mass of the preimplanted blastocyte. Because hESCs has a pluripotent potential, it has been thought to a good source for studying human development. Early mammalian embryogenesis and development generally takes place in a low O2 environment(hypoxia). However, the most of the differentiation studies carried out using hESCs have been achieved in a normoxic condition (5%CO2/21%O2). Such conditions may not be the suitable to mimic in vivo environment. Recently, various hypoxia induction methods such as gas pack or hypoxic chamber were developed by many researchers, but still they did not control of dissolved oxygen(DO) in media. Here, we newly have developed stable hypoxic condition and shown differentiation pattern of hESCs in that condition. For stable hypoxic condition, we removed DO in media using a N2 gas injection technique which was more quickly adjusted to the media with low DO value compared with non-bubbled media in hypoxia incubator. After inducing optimized hypoxic condition, we analyzed differentiation pattern of hESCs as compared with normoxic condition using RT-PCR, Real time-PCR and immuno-staining. As a result, in hypoxic condition, we shown that expression of pluripotancy marker, Oct4 was rapidly decreased and expression of mature neuronal marker, MAP2 and endothelial junction protein, VECad were increased in comparison to normoxic condition. These results suggest that hypoxic condition should promote hESCs differentiation to neuronal lineage and vessel lineage. Furthermore, the optimized hypoxic condition developed in this study will be a useful technique for study of human development via hESCs.

나로우주센터에서는 국내 위성발사체 발사운용을 위하여 고흥 및 제주추적소에 추적레이다를 2기 설치하였으며, 나로호(KSLV-I) 발사 임무에 참여하여 발사체의 위치를 실시간으로 추적하여 발사통제센터(MCC)로 전송하는 임무를 성공적으로 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 나로우주센터 추적레이다 시스템 구성과 나로호 추적 운용방식 및 향후 누리호(KSLV-II) 추적을 위한 이중모드 운용방식 등 국내 위성발사체 추적레이다의 운용 기술동향에 대하여 기술하였다. The tracking Radar system for space launch vehicle in Naro space center was installed in Goheung and Jeju tracking station respectively and sent TSPI(Time, Space, Position, Information) data to Mission Control Center after the tracking of Naro space launch vehicle(KSLV-I) successfully. This paper presents the technical trend of tracking Radar operation for space launch vehicle in Naro space center including Radar system configuration and the operation sequence for KSLV-1 and the dual mode tracking method for Nuri space launch vehicle (KSLV-II).

1. Objectives This Study recognize of the 17th Korean Assemblymen's Sasang Constitutional distribution and investigates Sasang Constitutional distribution of special group. 2. Methods The Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution was distributed to Korean Assemblymen's. The next, 2 persons of Sasang Constitutional Specialist interview directly, record of Korean Assemblymen's voice with PSSC and then concluded Sasang Constitution. 3. Results 1. After analysed Sasang Constitution with Questionnaire, We acquired zero person Taeyangin, sixteen persons Soyangin, nine persons Taeumin, zero person Soeumin. But, after direct interview examination, We acquired one person Taeyangin, seven persons Soyangin, twenty-two persons Taeumin, five persons Soeumin. 2. Soyangin rates was 20% practically, but Soyangin rates of amination with Questionnaire was 46%. Because Soyangin in Korean Assemblymen's expressed extrovert for oneself. 3. Taeumin constituted nineteen persons with Questionnaire, accounted for 54%. But Taeumin constituted twenty-two persons in direct interview examination, accounted for 63%. 4. Conclusions 1. In Uri Patty, Soyangin rates was 21%, Taeumin rates was 63%, Soeumin rates was 16%, Taeyangin rates was 0 %. The group of Taeyangin and Soyangin with activity and progression marked 21 %, the group of Taeumin and Soeumin with conservativeness marked 79%. 2. Grand National Parry, Soyangin rates was 14%, Taeumin rates was 64.3%, Soeumin rates was 14.3%, Taeyangin rates was 7.1 %. The group of Taeyangin and Soyangin with activity and progression marked 21.6%, the group of Taeumin and Soeumin with conservativeness marked 78.6%. 3. In comparison Uri Patty with Grand National Party, the rates of active Constitution marked 21.0% and 21.6% be much of a muchness. and in comparison Uri Parry with Grand National Parry, the rates of conservative Constitution marked 79.0% and 78.6% be much of a muchness.
자간전증 산모의 제대동맥에서 혈관내피세포의 기능의 변화

목적 : 자간전증 산모의 제대동맥을 이용하여 혈관 내피세포의 이완 기능의 이상 유무를 알아보고, 내피세포의 손상 기전과 혈관 평활근의 이상 여부를 연구하고자 하였다. 방법 : 1998년 6월부터 1999년 11월까지 연세대학교 의과대학 신촌 세브란스병원에서 분만한 중증 자간전증 산모의 제대동맥과 같은 기간 동안 얻은 정상 산모의 제대동맥을 이용하여 여러 가지 혈관 활성물질(vasoactive substances)의 효과를 장력 실험 및 bioassay 실험을 통해 비교, 관찰함으로써 자간전증 산모에서 관찰되는 혈관긴장도 증가 현상이 혈관 내피세포의 기능저하로 유발되는 지, 혹은 혈관 평활근세포의 기능 변화에 의해 유발되는 지의 여부를 확인하였다. 결과 : 1. 내피 의존성 이완제에 의한 제대동맥의 이완의 효과는 정상 산모에 비하여 중증 자간전증 산모에서 현저하게 감소하였다. 2. 내피 비의존성 이완제에 의한 제대동맥의 이완 효과 역시 정상 산모에 비하여 중증 자간전증 산모에서 현저히 감소하였다. 3. 중증 자간전증 산모의 경우 혈관 내피세포에서 endothelial derived relaxing factor (EDRF)의 유리가 억제됨을 bioassay 실험을 통하여 직접 확인 할 수 있었다. 4. 8-bromo-cGMP(cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate)에 의한 제대동맥의 이완 효과가 정상 산모에 비하여 중증 자간전증 산모에서 현저히 감소하였다. 결론 : 중증 자간전증 산모의 경우 혈관 내피세포로부터 혈관 이완물질인 EDRF의 유리가 감소되어 있을 뿐 아니라 유리된 EDRF에 대한 혈관 평활근세포의 반응성 역시 현저히 저하되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. Objectives & Methods : To directly examine the function of the endothelial cell(EC) and smooth muscle cell in umbilical arteries acquired from preeclampsia patients between June 1998 to November 1999, using a conventional tension measurement and bioassay experiment.Results : Relaxation responses to EC-dependent relaxing agents including bradykinin and A23187 in human umbilical artery rings were significantly decreased in preeclampsia(p<0.01). Relaxation responses to EC-independent agents(SNP and SNAP) were also inhibited in umbilical artery rings acquired from preeclampsia patients(p<0.01). To test the change of endothelial cell function in preeclampsia without involvement of smooth muscle dysfunction, we used human umbilical artery and rabbit femoral artery as a donor and detector, respectively, in bioassay experiment. Relaxation responses to EC-dependent agents(A23187 and bradykinin) showed similar results to conventional tension measurement (p<0.01). Relaxation responses to 8-bromo-cGMP in human umbilical artery rings were also significantly decreased in preeclampsia(p<0.01).Conclusion : It can be concluded that increased vascular resistance in preeclampsia is not only due to the disturbance of endothelial function, but also to smooth muscle dysfunction.

Thermal judder has been effected by the thermal deformation of the brake disk. High friction heat is generated during braking and concentrated to particular regions of the brake disk. The heat is transferred to the air through the brake disk. Because the temperature distribution on the disk is irregular, thermal deformation has been occurred during braking. In this study, thermal deformation analysis of brake disk by FEM has been practiced. The results of the analysis show the deformed shape and temperature distribution of the brake disk. The deformed shape due to the thermal judder has been verified at the early stage of the braking.

In this paper, the contents of the design and development process of the 6U micro-satellite Snipe (SNIPE, national name Toyosat; small scale magnetospheric and Ionospheric plasma experiment ), which was developed to observe the near-global space environment through polarization flight for the first time in Korea, were described. Snipe performs transversal flight to observe the Earth's surrounding space environment in three dimensions, and aims to simultaneously observe the space plasma density and temperature in the ionosphere, as well as temporal changes in the solar magnetic field and electromagnetic waves. In this way, it was developed by dividing it into a test certification model (EQM) and a flight model (FM) to perform the actual mission for at least six months, away from developing a cube satellite for short-term space technology verification or manpower training. Currently, Snipe, which has completed the development of a total of four FM and completed all space environment tests, is scheduled to launch 2023. In this paper, we introduce the design contents and development process of the Snipe satellite body ahead of launch, and hope that it will be a useful reference for the development of 6U-class micro-satellite for full-scale mission in Korea.
