Emergency cerclage commonly known as that performed in the setting of advanced cervical dilatation with bulging membranes and associated with significantly increased failure rates. We experienced a successful emergency cerclage for advanced incompetent internal os of cervix ( IIOC ). Pregnancy was prolonged and we delivered viable fetus. Hereby we report this case with the brief review of literature.
DSRC 통신을 위한 원형 편파 패치 배열 안테나 설계

본 논문에서는 ITS(Intelligent Transport System)의 DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) 통신을 위한 노변 기지국용 원형 편파 패치 배열 안테나를 제안하였다. DSRC 노변 기지국용 안테나가 다중 경로로부터 반사된 신호를 효율적으로 수신하기 위해 원형 편파로 동작하도록 설계하였다. 제안된 안테나는 마이크로스트립 패치와 급전 선로로 구성되었으며, 급전부의 슬롯 부근에 슬릿을 삽입하여 원형 편파를 발생시켰다. DSRC 노변 기지국용 안테나에 요구되는 이득 값을 만족시키기 위해 2×2 배열 구조로 설계하였다. 측정된 임피던스 대역폭과 축비 대역폭은 5.795∼5.855 GHz의 DSRC 통신 대역을 모두 만족하였다. 제안된 안테나의 수직 반치각과 수평 반치각은 약 43°이며, 약 11.21 dBi의 이득 특성을 보였다. In this paper, circularly polarization patch array antenna of RSE(Road-side Equipment) base station for DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) of ITS(Intelligent Transport System) is proposed. The antenna of RSE base station for DSRC is designed to operate circularly polarization to receive reflected signal from multiplex path effectively. The proposed antenna consisted of microstrip patch and feed line, the slit is inserted in the proximity of the slot of feed structure to generate circularly polarization. The 2×2 array structure is designed to satisfying gain that DSRC RSE base station antenna required. Measured impedance bandwidth and axial-ratio bandwidth are satisfied by all DSRC band of 5.795∼5.855 GHz. Vertical and horizontal HPBW of the proposed antenna are both about 43 degrees, it showed gain characteristic of about 11.21 dBi.

The purpose of this study is to classify the walking step to assist the driving force of the hip joint wearing type walking robot to which the series elastic actuator is applied. We propose an algorithm for classification of the walking steps that can be effectively divided into classify according to the angle of the hip when the wearer is walking. In the proposed method, the change of the angle of the hip joint is measured by comparing the data of the encoder connected to the motor and the encoder connected to the hip joint by using a series elastic actuator at the hip joint of the leg orthosis. Based on this, the direction of the hip joint or the angular velocity is divided. In this study, the output of the series elastic actuators for each section is different to assist walking more effectively.
UWB 통신을 위한 변형된 접지 면을 갖는 평판형 모노폴 안테나

본 논문에서는 UWB 통신을 위한 변형된 접지 면을 갖는 소형 평판형 모노폴 안테나를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 UWB 통신에 적합한 초광대역 특성(3.1∼10.6 ㎓)을 만족하면서, 5 ㎓ WLAN 대역(5.15∼5.35 ㎓, 5.470∼5.825 ㎓)에 주파수 대역 저지 특성을 갖는다. 제안된 안테나는 접지 면에 두 개의 슬릿을 통해 임피던스 정합 특성을 향상시켰으며, 슬릿의 중앙으로부터 저지 대역의 λ/4 길이를 갖는 두 개의 개방 스터브를 형성하여 주파수 대역 저지 특성을 유도하였다. 제작된 안테나는 저지 대역인 5.08∼5.83 ㎓를 제외하고, 2.88∼10.83 ㎓ 대역에서 VSWR≤2를 만족한다. In this paper, we proposed the small planar monopole antenna with modified ground plane for UWB communications. The proposed antenna not only shows Ultra-Wideband characteristic(3.1∼10.6 ㎓) suitable for UWB communications but has partially notched-band characteristic to reject 5 ㎓ WLAN band(5.15∼5.35 ㎓, 5.470∼5.825 ㎓). The proposed antenna improved impedance matching through two slits on ground plane, and the rejection band was induced by two λ/4 open stubs on center of two slits. Fabricated antenna satisfied VSWR≤2 in 2.88∼10.83 ㎓ except for the band rejection of 5.08∼5.83 ㎓.

In this paper, 2x4 microstrip patch antenna are proposed to implement K-band satellite communications. The microstrip feed line are inset into the radiation patch to match input impedance. Also the same current in each elements are excited by Kirchhoff"s low. The elements distance of proposed array antenna are optimized 0.8λg<SUP> to minimize a mutual coupling and maximize a gain. A power divider network are employed to distribute T-junction divider. As result, the proposed antenna get gain of 14[dBi] at 10.525[GHz].

Campomelic syndrome is a very rare skeletal dysplasia with a characteristic pattern of deformity involving the proximal and distal extremities, pelvic and shoulder girdles, thoracic cage and palate. Respiratory compromise often leads to death in early infancy. Etiology has not been determined although evidence suggests genetic heterogeneity. Cytogenetic study revealed high incidence of a 46,XY karyotype in phenotypic females. Recently, we had experienced a case of campomelic dysplasia at amenorrhea 30weeks and termination was done, so we report with a brief review of literature.

Fetal bilateral renal agenesis is a lethal congenital anomaly characterized by bilateral pulmonary hypoplasia, deformities and death due to severe oligohydramnios. This syndrome is associated with malformations of genitourinary tract, cardiovascular system, vertebral bodies or imperforated anus in more than half of the affected individuals. An early and reliable prenatal diagnosis is extremely important because it may offer options for pregnancy termination as early as possible. The criteria for the ultrasonographic diagnosis of bilateral renal agenesis are severe oligohydramnios, nonvisualization of the bladder, empty renal fossae. But poor sonographic resolution of severe oligohydramnios makes it difficult to diagnose the disease. We present a case of bilateral renal agenesis diagnosed at the 18th weeks gestation by using Transvaginal Ultrasonography and Color Doppler.

본 논문에서는 500kg급 중형위성에 탑재를 목표로 개발한 C-밴드 영상 레이다용 파형발생수신모듈의 설계, 제작 및 시험 결과를 제시한다. 파형발생수신모듈은 약 500km의 고도에서 해상도 10m 기준 120km의 관측 폭을 만족할 수 있도록 50 MHz 대역의 2개 주파수를 동시 운용하는 이중주파수 스캔 방식을 적용할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 제작된 파형발생수신모듈은 우주환경을 고려하여 방사성 내성이 고려된 RTG4 FPGA를 적용하였으며, 병렬 직접합성방식(PDDS)을 적용하여 메모리맵 방식 대비 작은 메모리 용량으로 첩 신호를 생성할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 시험결과 주파수 순도가 높은 첩 파형을 안정적으로 생성하였으며, 수신 신호에 대해 디지털 하향 변환 후 확인 결과 목표한 IRF (Impulse Response Function) 성능을 확인할 수 있었다. In this paper, we present design, implementation and test results of CTM (Chirp Transceiver Module) EM (Engineering Model) for C-Band SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) Payload. The CTM is designed to operate dual frequency scan method that simultaneously operate two frequencies in each 50MHz bandwidth to achieve 120Km swath with 10m resolution at about 500Km altitude. The CTM used radiation tolerant RTG4 FPGA for space environment, and implemented with the Parallel DDS (PDDS) method which uses a small memory capacity compared to the memory-map method. Test results show high purity chirp signal generation and excellent IRF performance from received chirp signal after direct digital conversion.
