Objective : This study reports the effect of korean medicine on ptosis patient 1 case diagnosed as idiopathic oculomoter nerve palsy. Methods : We experienced one case of ptosis diagnosed as idiopathic oculomoter nerve palsy treated with herbal medicine and acupuncture. Ptosis and associated symptoms had been estimated with difference of both eye's interpalpebral fissure and VAS(Visual Analogue Scale). Result : After the treatment, symptoms were decreased and almost disappeared. In this case, difference of both eye's interpalpebral fissure decreased from 6mm to 1mm in a month. Conclusion : This study suggests that korean medicine is effective on ptosis diagnosed as idiopathic oculomoter nerve palsy.

Objective : This study reports the effect of oriental medicine with depletion and cupping therapy on post-herpetic neuralgia(PHN) 1 case. Methods : We experienced one case of PHN treated by oriental medical treatment with depletion and cupping therapy. To evaluate the effectiveness of this treatment, we used the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). Result : After the treatment the grade of VAS was decreased and clinical symptoms were improved. Conclusion : Oriental medicine with depletion and cupping therapy can be available for relieving symptoms related with PHN.
Surgical Strategy for Primary Colorectal Carcinoma and Synchronous Pulmonary Metastasis Resection

Background: The surgical strategy for single-stage resection of primary colorectal cancer (CRC) and synchronous pulmonary metastases remains a matter of debate. Methods: Perioperative data of patients who underwent single-stage resection of pri- mary CRC and synchronous pulmonary metastases were compared to those of patients who underwent 2-stage resections. The demographic data, number of metastases, type of pulmonary and colorectal resections, operation time, blood loss, postoperative com- plications, morbidities, mortality, medical costs, and length of hospital stay were analyzed. Results: Twenty-two patients underwent single-stage resection of primary CRC and pul- monary metastases, while 27 patients underwent 2-stage resection. Tumor size and the number of pulmonary metastases were not significantly different between the 2 groups. The extent of pulmonary metastasectomy and abdominal procedures were similar in both groups, as was the thoracic surgical approach (video-assisted thoracic surgery vs. thoracotomy). However, open laparotomy was performed more frequently in the 2-stage group than in the single-stage group (p=0.045), which also had a longer total anesthetic time (p=0.013). The operation time, medical costs, estimated blood loss, complication rates, and severity were similar in both groups, but the length of hospital stay was shorter in the sin- gle-stage group (p<0.001). Conclusion: Single-stage colorectal and pulmonary resection shortened the overall hos- pital stay, with no significant changes in operation time, medical costs, hospital mortality, and morbidity. Therefore, single-stage resection could be a good surgical strategy in se- lected patients.

The defense industry export of Korea has been steadily risen since 2006. It is attained $340million, the highest export amounts ever, in 2013. As the defense industry export increase, Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) built defense industry export and import management system to assist export and to protect defense technologies. In this paper, we study factors to activate the defense industry export and import management system using Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) in compulsive usage environment. The significance of this study is as follows: First, we prove the reliability and feasibility of measurement variables in defense industry of compulsive usage environment. Second, we suggest factors to activate the defense industry export and import management system. Third, we present methodology to find factors in computation systems of public institute using TAM.
팔물탕의 항산화 효과와 자외선으로 유도된 각질형성세포 손상에 대한 보호효과

Objective : In this paper, we investigated the anti-oxidative capacities and protective effects of water extract of palmul-tang (PMT) against Ultraviolet B(UVB)-induced oxidative damage in human keratinocytes(HaCaT). Method : To evaluate the anti-oxidative activities of PMT, we measured scavenging activities on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH) radical, hydroxyl radical, hydrogen peroxide, superoxide anion, lipid peroxidation and reducing power of PMT. To give an oxidative stress to HaCaT cells, UVB was irradiated with $40mJ/cm^2$ to HaCaT cells. To detect the protective effects of PMT against UVB, we measured cell viability, apoptotic bodies and reactive oxygen species(ROS) generation. Results : PMT showed the anti-oxidative activities by scavenging DPPH radical, hydroxyl radical, hydrogen peroxide, superoxide anion, lipid peroxidation. Also PMT showed high reducing values. The UVB-induced oxidative conditions led to the cell apoptosis. However, treatment with PMT reduced oxidative stress conditions, including inhibition of cell apoptosis and expression of ROS. Conclusion : PMT had anti-oxidative activities and exhibited protective effects against UVB on HaCaT cells. PMT would be useful for the development of cosmetics treating UVB-induced skin aging.
급성 허혈성 뇌졸중에 있어 한방치료와 지속적 유로키나제 정주요법과의 병행요법의 효과와 안전성

Objective : Stroke is the most frequent cause of death in Korea. Because it remains severe disablities disturbing normal life, it is important to carry out intervention preventing from progression of condition in patients with acute ischemic stroke within therapeutic time window. Thus early thrombolysis is beneficial for patients with acute ischemic stroke. However its therapeutic efficacy is not known in combination with oriental medical therapy. In this study, we investigated the safety and the clinical effect of continous intravenous urokinase therapy and oriental medical therapy. Methods : Twenty eight patients with acute onset of ischemic stroke no later than three days received continous infusion of urokinase and oriental medical therapy. We estimated the subjects's neurological deficit and functional status with National institute of Neurologic Disorders and Stroke Scale(NIHSS) and Europian Stroke Scale (ESS) prior to therapy, on day 3, 7, 14 after the starting urokinase therapy and on day at discharge. Results: After day 7, the scores of NIHSS and ESS were improved significantly. There are no differences in therapeutic effects of the interval between onset of stroke and initiation of therapy. Complication were noted in four(14%) patients, but these are not fatal complication and make no neurological deficiency. Conclusion : The results of these investment suggest that continuous intravenous urokinase with oriental medical therapy could be a safe and effective intervention to prevent from progression in acute ischemic stroke. But this findings should be confirmed in multicenter double blind controlled trial.
Development of Transparent Conductive Oxide for Thin-film Silicon Solar Cells

Gallium-doped zinc oxide (GZO) films were deposited by DC magnetron sputtering using a GZO ceramic target at various substrate temperatures from 298 to 573 K in order to apply the films to amorphous silicon thin film solar cells. A low resistivity (~4.28 × 10−4cm) and a high transmittance (>90%) were obtained from the film deposited at 573 K. From X-ray diffraction, the films had columnar structures oriented along the c-axis, regardless of the substrate temperature. The lattice images and the grains were observed by using a field emission transmission electron microscope. A grain was overlapped by the crystallite of 10-15 nm, and the size of a grain was about 70 nm. Finally, the texturing conditions of the GZO films were optimized as a function of deposition temperature for potential applications to tandem solar cells and single junction amorphous silicon thin film solar cells.
클라우드 컴퓨팅에서 u-Fitness 기반 운동 관리를 위한 소유자의 프라이버시를 보장하는 프로토콜

u-fitness 기반 운동관리와 관련된 민감한 신체 정보의 양이 폭발적으로 증가하고 있기 때문에 클라우드 서비스의 활용에 대한 관심이 날로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 클라우드 서버는 자신의 서버에 저장된 정보에 불법적으로 접근할 수 있으며, 누가 그 정보의 소유자인지를 알아낼 수 있고, 스토리지에 저장된 정보 간의 연관성을 불법적으로 추론할 수 있다. 또한 클라우드 서버는 저장된 정보에 대해 수정, 삭제 같은 소유자의 정당한 연산 요청에 대해 불이행할 수 있으며, 자체의 오작동으로 인해 정보를 분실하거나 손상시킬 수 있다. 따라서 우리는 클라우드 서버를 전적으로 신뢰할 수 없기 때문에 클라우드 서버를 사용하기 위해서는 위와 같은 문제들을 해결해야 한다. 우리는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 u-Fitness 기반 운동관리를 위한 소유자의 프라이버시를 보장하는 프로토콜을 제안한다. 그리고 제안한 구조가 실제 환경에서 적용 가능함을 보안 분석과 성능 분석을 통해 보인다. There is growing interest in the use of cloud services these days because the amount of sensitive physical information related to u-fitness-based exercise management increase in explosive. However, it is possible to illegally access information stored in a cloud server, and to find out who owns the information, even, to illegally deduce an association among the information stored in its memory. The cloud server may also intentionally pass over the owner's legitimate operation requests such as modification and deletion of stored information, and may lose or damage information due to its malfunction. So, it is strongly required to solve the above problems because we can not trust the cloud server entirely. In this paper, we propose a protocol to preserve the privacy of the owner for u-Fitness-based exercise management in a cloud computing environment. And we show that our proposed architecture is applicable in real environment through security analysis and performance analysis.
