NaS 배터리 셀 패키지의 알루미나 컴포넌트 접합용 Sealing Glass의 기공율 제어

대용량 전력저장용 황화나트륨 기반의 전지를 개발함에 있어서 베타 알루미나 고체 전해질 튜브와 알파 알루미나 셀 캡 간의 물리적 접합을 위해서는 세라믹-세라믹 접합용 씰링 글라스 후막 페이스트가 필요하다. 본고에서는 글라스 프릿 분말의 입도, 열처리 조건이 씰링 글라스의 열처리 후 미세구조 특히 기공율과 그 분포에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 씰링 글라스 분말의 입자가 클수록 열처리 후의 글라스의 미세 조직상에서의 기공율 및 기공의 수가 감소하였으며, 열처리 온도가 증가 할수록 기공의 수가 감소하는 반면 기공의 크기는 증가함을 확인하였다. 이로써 글라스 씰란트의 제조에 있어서, 글라스 페이스트용 글라스 프릿 분말의 입자 크기와 씰링 열처리 온도의 적절한 선정에 의해 글라스 씰링부의 미세구조에서 기공율과 기공의 분포 및 기공의 수를 제어할 수 있음을 보여주었다. Thick film sealing glass paste is required for cell packaging of NaS based battery for energy storage system, to join the beta-alumina electrolyte tube and the alpha-alumina battery cell cap components. This paper presents the effect of the particle sizes of seal glass powder and the sealing temperatures on the microstructure of the glass sealants was investigated. It was found that the larger in the particle size of seal glass powder, the smaller the pore volume and the number of pores in a unit area. Also, the number of pores decreased with increasing the sealing temperatures while the pore size was increased. This result enables the control of porosity, pore distribution and number of pores in a microstructure of glass sealing component by proper selection of glass powders particle size and sealing temperature.
정보과 교육과정 개발을 위한 학문적·이론적 기저에 대한 고찰

This study was conducted for the purpose of examining the academic and theoretical basis for the development of an informatics curriculum and examining the philosophical foundation of the informatics department. Starting with the terminology of information, the epistemological aspect of the discipline, which the department of informatics originated from, was discussed. The academic scope of the subject “information” was set based on a study on changes in the curriculum, and the attributes and scope of the study of artificial intelligence, which is a recent issue, were presented. By presenting the differences from other disciplines through the above discussion, it is meaningful in that it was able to further solidify the value of academic knowledge in the department of informatics, which is important and necessary for the times despite its short history. 본 연구는 정보과 교육과정 개발의 학문적·이론적 기저를 살펴보고, 정보과의 철학적 토대를 고찰하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 정보에 대한 용어를 시작으로 정보과의 모태 학문에 대한 인식론적 측면을 논의하였다. 교육과정 상의 변화에 대한 고찰을 기반으로 교과 ‘정보’의 학문적 범위를 설정하고, 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 인공지능에 대한 학문의 속성과 범위를 제시하였다. 이상의 논의를 통해 타 학문과의 차별화 등을 제시함으로써, 길지 않은 학문의 역사임에도 불구하고 시대적으로 중요하고, 필요한 정보과의 학문적 지식의 가치를 보다 공고히 할 수 있었다는 데 의의가 있다.

Parvimonas micra is frequently associated with periodontal disease as well as respiratory, gastrointestinal, and female genitourinary tract infections, but only rarely has it been reported as a pathogenic agent of infectious spondylodiscitis. We describe the case of a 38-year-old woman with spondylodiscitis caused by P. micra. P. micra was cultured from the patient`s blood and vertebral tissue. This case was treated with vertebral corpectomy followed by intravenous ampicillin-sulbactam for four weeks. Her symptoms and vital signs improved, and elevated inflammatory markers were normalized after treatment. (Korean J Med 2012; 82:632-636)

Purpose: Traumatic cervical SCI is frequently accompanied by dural tear and the resulting cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak after surgery can be troublesome and delay rehabilitation with increasing morbidity. This study evaluated the incidence of intraoperative CSF leaks in patients with traumatic cervical spinal cord injury (SCI) who underwent anterior cervical surgery and described the reliable management of CSF leaks during the perioperative period. Methods: A retrospective study of medical records and radiological images was done on patients with CSF leaks after cervical spine trauma. Results: Seven patients(13.2%) were identified with CSF leaks during the intraoperative period. All patients were severely injured and showed structural abnormalities on the initial magnetic resonance image (MRI) of the cervical spine. Intraoperatively, no primary repair of dural tear was attempted because of a wide, rough defect size. Therefore, fibrin glue was applied to the operated site in all cases. Although a wound drainage was inserted, it was stopped within the first 24 hours after the operation. No lumbar drainage was performed. Postoperatively, the patients should kept their heads in an elevated position and early ambulation and rehabilitation were encouraged. None of the patients developed complications related to CSF leaks during admission. Conclusion: The incidence of CSF leaks after surgery for cervical spinal trauma is relatively higher than that of cervical spinal stenosis. Therefore, one should expect the possibility of a dural tear and have a simple and effective management protocol for CSF leaks in trauma cases established.

Recent hospital building design considers not only its functional space composition but also contemplates "patient focused concept" in the early design stage. It is also called "hospital unlike hospital" and, usually, architects put their effort in building's exterior design to serve the coziness for patients. Therefore, this research analyzed and evaluated the exterior design of The K University Hospital Competition, as a case study, to understand recent hospital design trend and also to suggest a vision for future hospital design.
