        방사선지표식물 자주달개비를 이용한 환경방사선 감시

        Tradescantia in BNL 4430 is a hybrid clone heterozygous for its flower color and extremely sensitive to ionizing radiation. Such a fact made people around nuclear power plants be interested in Tradescantia, a botanical tester of radiation effects. The pur pose of this study is to provide the botanical supplement to physical radiation monitor systems and also to ascertain biological safety regarding environmental radiation around nuclear power plants. Flowers collected periodically from three Tradescantia gardens (in Youngkwang NPP Jeonsigwan. City office and KAERI. respectively) were scored for pink mutation frequencies in stamen hair cells. Pink mutation frequencies in the study area were in the range of 0.82∼1.14. which were slightly lower than the annual mean background mutation frequency of 1.16. Statistical analysis of scoring data showed that there was no significant difference between three Tradescantia gardens (p>0.05). From the result, the environmental radiation level around Youngkwang nuclear power plant can be said biologically safe. Further study for verifying safety will make a role for improving public acceptance related to the peaceful use of nuclear power.

        중성자와 감마선 중복 조사가 자주달재비 분홍돌연변이율에 미치는 영향

        The effects of combined irradiation of neutrons and ${\gamma}$-rays were analysed by means of Tradescantia stamen hair (TSH) assay. Potted plants were irradiated with $0{\sim}2$ Gy of ${\gamma}$-rays. For the combined treatments, the plants were irradiated with neutrons from $^{252}Cf$ 24 hours before or after ${\gamma}$-irradiation. The slopes of dose-response curves were 5.98, 6.17 and 7.48, in ${\gamma}$-rays, ${\gamma}$-rays+neutrons, and neutrons+${\gamma}$ -rays irradiated groups, respectively. The biological efficacy of radiations in the induction of pink mutations increased by 25% in neutrons+${\gamma}$-rays irradiated group, while it increased by 12% in ${\gamma}$-rays+neutrons irradiated group. The combined irradiation with two kinds of radiations results in the different efficacy of radiation depending on the order of irradiations, which is of great importance in the related fields such as sterilization and radiotherapy. 자주달개비 식물체에 감마선과 중성자를 중복 조사하였을 패 나타나는 수술털(TSH) 분흥돌연변이율의 변화를 분석하였다. 감마선은 $0{\sim}2$ Gy의 범위에서 선량별 조사를 하였으며 중성자는 $^{252}Cf$ 선원으로부터 일정한 거리에 식물체를 배열하여 조사하였다. 감마선을 선량별로 조사한 후 중성자를 조사한 때의 TSH 분홍돌연변이 감마선량-반응의 증가계수는 6.17로 감마선량-반응식의 5.98에 비해 12%의 방사선효율 증가를 초래했으며 중성자를 먼저 조사한 다음 감마선을 조사한 경우는 증가계수가 7.48로서 25%의 방사선 생물효율 증대가 나타났다. 두 종류의 방사선 중복 조사시 조사방식의 선 후 조합에 따른 방사선생물효율 증대가능성은 멸균 또는 세포사멸 등 방사선을 긍정적으로 이용하는 분야에 있어 매우 중요한 의미가 있다.

        확장 해밀턴 이론에 근거한 탄점소성 시스템의 시간유한요소해석법

        In order to overcome the key shortcoming of Hamilton's principle, recently, the extended framework of Hamilton's principle was developed. To investigate its potential in further applications especially for material non-linearity problems, the focus is initially on a classical single-degree-of-freedom elasto-viscoplastic model. More specifically, the extended framework is applied to the single-degree-of-freedom elasto-viscoplastic model, and a corresponding weak form is numerically implemented through a temporal finite element approach. The method provides a non-iterative algorithm along with unconditional stability with respect to the time step, while yielding whole information to investigate the further dynamics of the considered system.

        자주달개비 화분모세포 미세핵 생성률의 방사선량-반응 관계

        본 연구는 이온화 방사선이 자주달개비 화분모세포의 미세핵 생성에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 선량-반응 관계를 수립하고자 수행되었다. 자주달개비의 화분모세포는 감수분열을 통하여 4개의 꽃가루로 발전되는 생식세포로서 분열과정 중에 방사선에 노출되면 염색체 조각이 분리되어 미세핵을 형성한다. 감마선 선량이 증가함에 따라 미세핵 생성률도 증가하였으며 특히 50 cGy까지의 선량범위에서 선량별 미세핵 생성률의 최대값은 뚜렷한 선량-반응관계를 보였다. 선량-반응 관계식을 통해 볼 때 1 cGy의 부가적 선량은 100 사분자당 최대 2개씩의 미세핵을 추가로 생성시키는 것으로 나타났다. 화분모세포 미세핵 생성률의 방사선 지표성은 생물학적 방사선량 감시를 위한 필수선결사항일 뿐 아니라 공해물질의 생체 위해성 검증, 수질과 토양의 건전성 평가 등에 대한 응용성을 갖고 있다. This study was carried out to investigate the radiation dose-response of micronucleus frequencies in Tradescantia pollen mother cells. The number of micronuclei increased in the tetrads as a result of chromosome deletion after irradiation. The maximal frequency of micronuclei showed a good dose-response relationship in the range of dose $0{\sim}50$ cGy. On the basis of the relationship, a dose of 1 cGy results maximally in two additional micronuclei in 100 tetrads. The radiation dose-response relationship of micronucleus occurrence is prerequisite to biological monitoring of radiations. The micronucleus assay can be applied to biological risk assessment of environmental toxicants, and to integrity test of water or soils of interest.

        Robert Frost의 자연

        Robert Frost had too widely concern and interest of Nature. He admits the mutural relations between man and nature in human life and the benefitable and inbenefitable nature. He thinks that man and nature should not live in same ways of life themselves but keep mutual confrontation. English Romantists try to be acceptable to objective beauty and the hidden meaning in nature. Furthermore, they think humans can be given sensibility and morality from the communion with nature. Frost thinks that man and nature exists in a different dimension and are naturally in born for themselves. That is to say, god and nature exist separately, and they are in a different realism from each other. In other words, god shapes the universe and seasons, and rules his own realism but only mankind makes walls for himself. Frost thinks that nature is a kind of background in human life for materializing relations of importance, therefore, he does not have deep philosophical ideas in his poems. He tries to seek the true meaning of human life in living with nature. He indicates how to relate man and nature and how to control the law of nature and changing of seasons through working in coordination with each other. In the poems of Robert Frost, his main theme is both sides of nature, and then his concern and interest are to explain human living with the background of nature. We can see the greatness of his poems through the relationships he creates between man and nature. Frost also indicates human limitation in living with nature, but he insists that humans should not obey nature, and should follow the pursuit of their own life. As a result, Frost does not see the beauty of nature, but he admits the both sides of the advantages and disadvantages in nature.

        아브라함 복의 세 가지 구속사적 의미와 이의 현대 설교에의 적용

        이 소고에서 필자는 창세기 12장 1-9절에 나오는 아브라함에게 약속된 복 들이 구원역사의 점진적 계시의 발전에 따라 어떤 의미를 갖게 되었으며, 이를 현대 설교에 어떻게 적용할 것인가를 연구하였다. 먼저 부루스 워키와 번 포이트레스의 견해를 소개한 후에, 다음 3단계의 구속사에 따라 본문을 분석하였다. (1) 본문과 본문이 속한 책 속에서의 의미, (2) 구약성경의 맥락 속에서의 의미, (3) 신약을 포함한 정경 전체 속에서의 의미이다. 제1단계에서는 본문에 나오는 네 가지 복을 정의하였다. (a) 큰 민족의 복 (자손의 복), (b) 이름이 창대케 되는 복, (c) 모든 민족의 복의 통로가 되는 복, (d) 땅의 복 등이다. 지면상 다음 두 단계에서는‘자손의 복’에 초점을 맞 추었다. 제2단계에서 애굽 땅에 내려간 야곱의 자손 70명은 400여년이 지난 후에 약 200만이나 되는 대민족으로 성장하게 되어 아브라함 언약은 문자적으로 이루어졌다. 그러나 후일 이스라엘 백성들이 언약에 불순종하게 될 때, 포로생활과 귀환으로 자손의 복은 현저히 줄어든 모습을 보여준다. 제3단계인 신약으로 넘어오면서 아브라함의 후손으로 오신 예수 그리스 도를 통하여 아브라함 언약이 영적인 의미에서 훨씬 더 차원 높은 성취를 보게 된다. 예수 그리스도 자신이 이 방인들이 그를 통하여 복을 받으리라고 약속하신 아브라함의 자손(씨)이기에 그를 통하여 하늘의 별과 같은 많은 아브라함의 후손을 얻게 되리라는 아브라함 언약은 성취되었다. 이어서 필자는 아브라함‘자손의 복’의 3가지 구속사적 의미를 현대 설 교에 적용하였다. (1) 창세기의 맥락 속에서, 아브라함 복에 대한 핵심적인 메시지는 그의 믿음이 무엇을 의미하는가를 계시하는 것이다. (2) 구약성경 의 맥락 속에서는 아브라함에게 약속하신 자손의 복이 민족적 차원에서 문 자적으로 성취되었기에 약속에 신실하신 하나님을 계시한다. (3) 신약성경 의 맥락 속에서 아브라함의 후손으로 나신 예수 그리스도(마 1:1)를 통하여 하늘의 별과 같이 자손이 많으리라는 아브라함 자손의 복은 온전히 성취되었다. 결론적으로 이 연구 결과는 구속사적인 설교와 그리스도 중심의 설교와 아울러 현대인들에게 적용성이 있는 설교에 도움을 준다고 본다. The author of this article studies the kind of meaning the blessings given to Abraham in Gen 12:1-9 came to have as God`s revelation had progressed in redemptive history and addresses how we can apply the message to the preaching in our times. After the author conveys the views of Bruce Waltke and Vern Poythress, he analyzes the text using three redemptive-historical stages: (1) the meaning of the text in it of itself and its meaning within the context of the book in which the text appears, (2) the meaning of the text within the context of the Old Testament, and (3) the meaning of the text in the whole canon including the New Testament. In the first stage, the author defines the four blessings within the text. Due to space limitations, the remainder of the article will focus on ``the blessing of the offspring.`` In the second stage, the Abrahamic covenant is literally fulfilled through Jacob`s seventy descendants, who had come down to Egypt and had multiplied. After 400 years, this resulted in the emergence of a great nation comprised of two million people. In the third stage, the Abrahamic covenant is spiritually fulfilled in a far greater dimension than before through the coming of Jesus Christ, who is a direct descendant of Abraham. Through Jesus Christ, Abraham`s descendants were multiplied as many as the stars in the sky. Then the author applies the three redemptive-historical meanings of Abraham`s blessing of the offspring to our preaching. Conclusively, the results of this article can contribute to redemptive historical preaching, Christ-centered preaching, and preaching to the people in our times.

        Willam Blake의 구원관 - The Lambeth Prophecies를 중심으로 -

        In Blake’s works, Man’s history is represented in the fall, redemption and Apocalypse. In his fall, Ulro loses his Original Unity (Eternity). In the redemption, Eden (Golden Age) is restored by the reunification of man’s separated unity. Blake illustrates the whole process through the redemption representing his mythological figures like Urizen, Orc and Los in his Lambeth Prophecies. Urizen represented corrupted Reason as the sources of all political and psychological Error, which caused oppression in the political dimension, seperation and chaos in the psychological dimension. Ore, the embodiment of Revolution, brings about liberation from the oppressive King and God. But his redemption is restricted because of the Ore Cycle. Los, a blacksmith-prophet, represents the creative Imagiantion and holds the hope of redemption, namely, the restoration of Eden, by replacing the seperation and chaos caused by Urizen with the integration of creation. In conclusion, Blake’s Lambeth Prophecies show us that the Redemption of human being does not come from Revolution with its cyclicity, but from Imagination with the reintegration of seperated and alienated human consciousness.
