The bioequivalence of two omeprazole enteric-coated products was evaluated in 16 normal male volunteers (age 26-32 yr, body weight 57-75 kg) following single oral administration. Test product was enteric-coated KD-182 tablet (Chong Kun Dang Corp., Korea) and reference product was $Rosec^{\circledR}$ capsule containing enteric-coated pellets of omeprazole (Yuhan Corp., Korea). Both products contain 20 mg of omeprazole. One tablet or capsule of the test or the reference product was administered to the volunteers, respectively, by randomized two period cross-over study ($2\;{\times}\;2$ Latin square method). Average drug concetrations at each sampling time and pharmacokinetic parameters calculated were not significantly different between two products(p>0.05); the area under the concentrationtime curve to last sampling time (8 hr) $(AUC_{0-8hr})$ $(1946.5{\pm}675.3\;vs\;2018.3{\pm}761.6\;ng{\cdot}hr/ml)$, AUC from time zero to infinite $(AUC_{o-\infty})$ $(2288.6{\pm}1212.8\;vs\;2264.9{\pm}1001.3\;ng{\cdot}hr/ml)$, maximum plasma concentration $(C_{max})$ $(772.5{\pm}283.3\;vs\;925.8{\pm}187.7\;ng/ml)$, time to maximum plasma concentration $(T_{max})$ $(2.38{\pm}1.06\;vs\;2.34{\pm}1.09\;hr)$, apparent elimination rate constant $(k_{\ell})$ $(0.5339{\pm}0.2687\;vs\;0.5769 {\pm}0.2184\;hr^{-I})$, apparent absorption rate constant $(k_a)$ $(1.1536{\pm}0.5278\;vs\;0.9739{\pm}0.9507 hr^{-1})$ and mean residence time (MRT) $(3.13{\pm}0.73\;vs \;3.41{\pm}1.04\;hr)$. The differences of mean $(AUC_{0-8hr})$, $C_{max}$, $T_{max}$ and MRT between the two products (3.69, 19.83, 1.32 and 8.99%, respectively) were less than 20%. The power $(1-{\beta})$ and treatment difference $(\triangle)$ for $AUC_{o-8hr}$ $C_{max}$ and MRT were more than 0.8 and less than 0.2, respectively. Although the power for $T_{max}$ was under 0.8, $T_{max}$ of the two products was not significantly different each other(p>0.05). These results suggest that the bioavailability of KD-182 tablet is not significantly different from that of $Rosec^{\circledR}$ capsule. Therefore, two products are bioequivalent based on the current results.

This paper present that Investigated about PBD evaluation of quality controls on the basis of PBD quality standard that is applied to vertical drain. Main method of test is tensile strength, Apparent Opening Size and drain capacity test. It seems reasonable that to evaluate calculating analysis result of tensile strength MD and CD average tensility. According to analysis results of Apparent Opening Size, Dry testing method is bigger than Wet testing method. It thought must decide on quality standard through considering field soil particle. Drain capacity test have different standard according to method of test. Therefore, it seems to necessary transform considered that standard method of test, test condition, specification need.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of absolute bed resting(ABR) period on bone mineral density(BMD) recovery in acute stroke patients. It is necessary for acute stroke patients to spend a few days-absolute bed resting period-for treatment. During ABR period, bone mineral density have a tendency to decrease. But During exercise period, BMD have a tendency to increase. Therefore this clinical study investigate the change of BMD in acute stroke patients. Methods: This clinical study have been carried out with 50 cases of acute stroke patients that entered Cheongju Oriental Hospital from March to October 2003 and investigates through several items-diagnosis, sex, age, ABR period, smoking, drinking, hypertension, diabetes mellitus(DM) and osteoporosis. Results & Conclusions: The results were as follows; 1. In change of BMD, 31cases(62%) increased and 19cases(38%) decreased. In 43`s infarction patients 26 cases(60%) increased and. in 7`s hemorrhage patients 5 cases(71%) increased. But significant increase was not. 2. In sexual change of BMD, BMD of female patients increased(p<0.05) significantly. 3. In ABR periodic change of BMD, BMD significantly decreased(p<0.01) according as ABR period were long. 4. In change of BMD according to smoking and drinking, BMD of non-smoking group increased(p<0.05) significantly. 5. In change of BMD according to hypertension, DM and osteoporosis, BMD of non-hypertension group increased(p<0.05) significantly. These results indicate that female, non-smoking group, non-hypertension and group that spent short ABR period BMD increased significantly.
한국인 하악골 전돌증 환자의 악교정수술을 위한 ENaP(Esthetic NaP)선의 유효성에 관한 연구

As the most of dentofacial deformity patients indicated to orthognathic surgery have strong desire for esthetic improvement as well as functional improvement, ideal esthetic evaluation should be made at surgical prediction. Lateral cephalographs has been commonly used for surgical prediction, however, remarkable discrepancy between esthetic viewpoint by simple looking and analysis on lateral cephalographs often found on evaluation of sagittal position of the upper and lower jaws especially in cases of mandibular prognathism of Koreans. In these cases, we have been employed Esthetic NaP(ENaP)-line for corrective evaluation and ideal surgical prediction on lateral cephalographs, but the efficacy of ENaP-line has not been evaluated. This is a study on efficacy of ENaP-line for orthognathic surgery of Korean mandibular prognathism. 170 Korean patients who had been diagnosed as mandibular prognathism and planned for orthognathic surgery at Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, College of Dentistry, Yonsei University during last 10 years are studied. The obtained results are as followings; among 170 patients of mandibular prognathism, 132 patients(77.6%) had not discrepancy in evaluation of sagittal position of the maxilla between cephalometric and esthetic evaluation(they are classified as Group I), however, 38 patients(22.4%) had definite discrepancy(they are classified as Group II). ENaP-line was employed in all cephalometric analysis of Group II. The proportions of male and female were similar in both Groups. Sixteen vertical reference lines perpendicular to 16 horizontal reference lines were obtained as followings; Each of the representative degree of ∠SN/AFH, ∠SN/CFH and ∠AFH/CFH obtained at Group I was applied to SN plane, AFH plane and CFH plane of Group II each other, and so 16 horizontal reference lines could be obtained individually according to each of the applied degree to each plane. And then their reliability to coincide with ENaP-line of Group II was evaluated. A vertical reference line perpendicular to a horizontal line made by application of the representative degree of ∠AFH/CFH in Group I to AFH line in Group II had the most highest coincidence with ENaP-line of Group II, however, its agreement was 42% in male and 47% in female. From this results, the rest of them should be determined their corrective jaw position definitely depend on
