        랫드에서 amitraz의 출생 전후 발생 시험

        This study investigated the potential effects of amitraz on the pre- and postnatal development, behavior, and reproductive performance of offspring of parent rats given amitraz during pre-mating, gestation, and lactation. The test chemical was administered via the drinking water containing 0, 40, 120, and 360 ppm to male rats from 2 weeks before mating to the end of 14-day mating period and to females from 2 weeks before mating, throughout mating, gestation and lactation up to weaning. Based on fluid consumption, the male rats received an average of $0,\;5.7{\pm}1.33,\;13.2{\pm}2.08,$ and $35.8{\pm}3.42$ mg/kg/day amitraz, and the female rats received an average of $0,8.7{\pm}4.42,\;20.1{\pm}9.60,\;and\;47.6{\pm}22.38$ mg/kg/day amitraz, respectively. At 360 ppm, an increase in the incidence of abnormal clinical signs, a suppression in the body weight gain, a decrease in the food consumption and litter size, an increase in the post-implantation loss, and a decrease in the seminal vesicle weight were observed in the parent animals. In addition, a suppression in the body weight gain, a decrease in the grip strength, a delay in the negative geotaxis, an increase in the pre- and post-implantation loss, and a decrease in the number of live embryos were observed in the offspring. At 120 ppm, suppressed body weight gain and reduced food consumption were observed in the parent rats. Suppressed body weight gain and decreased grip strength were also observed in the offspring. There were no signs of either reproductive or developmental toxicity at 40 ppm. Under these experimental conditions, the no-observed-adverse-effect level of amitraz for parent rats and their offspring was estimated to be 40 ppm in rats.

        마이크로웨이브 조사를 이용한 반도체성 단일벽 탄소나노튜브의 선택적 분리

        본 연구에서는 열화학기상증착법과 나노구조의 Fe/$Al_2O_3$/Si 촉매층을 이용하여 단일벽 탄소나노튜브를 합성하고 마이크로웨이브 조사를 통해 금속성 단일벽 탄소나노튜브를 선택적으로 제거하고 반도체성 단일벽 탄소나노튜브를 분리하였다. 조사시간의 변화에 따른 단일벽 탄소나노튜브의 전기적, 구조적 특성을 분석한 결과, 조사시간이 120초인 경우, 금속성의 단일벽 탄소나노튜브가 선택적으로 제거되어 약 95%의 반도체성 단일벽 탄소나노튜브를 분리할 수 있었으며, 뿐만 아니라 남아있는 반도체성 단일벽 탄소나노튜브가 손상 없이 우수한 결정성을 지니는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 방법은 반도체성 단일벽 탄소 나노튜브를 기반으로 한 전계효과 트랜지스터 및 다양한 나노전자소자의 응용에 유용한 정보를 제공하리라 기대한다. In this study, single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) were synthesized on a Fe/$Al_2O_3$/Si layer by thermal chemical vapor deposition. Metallic SWCNTs were selectively removed by microwave irradiation. Electrical and structural characterizations of the SWCNTs clearly revealed that the metallic SWCNTs were almost removed by microwave irradiation for 120 sec. The remained semiconducting SWCNTs with a high crystalline structure were obtained over 95%. This method would provide useful information for applications to SWCNTs-based field effect transistors and multifaceted nanoelectronics.

        SrCl<sub>2</sub>:Eu<sup>2+</sup>,Na<sup>+</sup> X-선 영상저장 형광체의 발광특성

        Photoluminescence(PL), photostimulated luminescence(PSL) and thermoluminescence(TL) in $SrC1_2$:$Eu^{2+}$ , $Na^{+}$ phosphor powder were measured, and the activation energies(trap depth) of traps associated with TL and PSL were investigated. The PL and PSL in the studied sample is due to the $4f^{6}$ 5d\longrightarrow$4f^{7}$transition of $Eu^{ 2+}$. TL glow curve is single peak, and its peak temperature is about 377.2 K. The PL, PSL and TL emission spectra of the phosphors are located in the range of 380∼440 nm, peaking at 408 nm. The activation energy of the PSL trapping center is 0.78 eV and that of the TL trapping center is 0.79 eV. We, thus, suggest that the trapping centers giving rise to the PSL are identical to those giving rise to the TL.

        Gastrointestinal Tract Perforation: MDCT Findings according to the Perforation Sites

        Our objective is to describe the characteristic CT findings of gastrointestinal (GI) tract perforations at various levels of the gastrointestinal system. It is beneficial to localize the perforation site as well as to diagnose the presence of bowel perforation for planning the correct surgery. CT has been established as the most valuable imaging technique for identifying the presence, site and cause of the GI tract perforation. The amount and location of extraluminal free air usually differ among various perforation sites. Further, CT findings such as discontinuity of the bowel wall and concentrated free air bubbles in close proximity to the bowel wall can help predict the perforation site. Multidetector CT with the multiplanar reformation images has improved the accuracy of CT for predicting the perforation sites.

      • <sup>18</sup>F-FDG Whole Body PET/CT 수검자의 거리별 선량 변화에 따른 방사선 작업종사자의 유효선량 고찰: 환자 고유특성 및 응대시간 측면

        방사선 안전에 대한 관심과 염려가 전 세계적으로 점차 증가되고 있는 가운데, 의료 실무 현장에 종사하는 방사선 작업종사자의 외부피폭 관리 또한 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있다. 특히, $^{18}F-FDG$WholeBodyPET/CT검사의 경우 높은 에너지의 방사성동위원소를 사용하므로 검사자의 피폭선량 저감화에 더욱 관심을 기울여야 한다. 따라서, 본 연구는 $^{18}F-FDG$ Whole Body PET/CT 수검자의 거리 별 외부선량률을 측정 및 분석하고, 방사선 작업종사자의 업무 행위 별 누적선량을 확인하여 피폭선량 저감화에 도움이 되는 주요한 요소를 알아보고자 한다. $^{18}F-FDG$WholeBody PET/CT검사를 받은 106명의 환자를 대상으로 검사 종료($75.4{\pm}3.3min$) 후 가슴을 기준 0, 10, 30, 50, 100 cm 거리에서 외부선량률을 측정하였다. 환자측면에서 외부선량률에 영향을 줄 수 있는 개별적 요인을 분석하기 위해 성별, 연령, BMI, 금식시간, 당뇨병 유무, 약물 투여정보, 크레아틴 수치 정보를 수집하였다. 수집된 정보의 통계분석은 ANOVA 분석 및 T-test를 시행하였다. 방사선 작업종사자 측면에서 피폭선량에 영향을 줄 수 있는 요인을 분석하기 위해 주사 업무를 하는 3명의 직원($T_1$, $T_2$, $T_3$)과 스캔 업무를 하는 3명의 직원($T_4$, $T_5$, $T_6$)에 각각 Personal pocket dosimeter를 착용시켜 업무시간 동안 누적된 선량을 기록하였다. 또한 방사선 작업종사자 별 응대시간을 측정하여 분석하였다. 각 거리 별 외부선량은 $246.9{\pm}37.6$, $129.9{\pm}16.7$, $61.2{\pm}9.1$, $34.4{\pm}5.9$, $13.1{\pm}2.4{\mu}Sv/hr$로 산출되었다. 환자측면에서, 근거리에서 성별, BMI, 선량, 크레아틴 수치에 의해 유의미한 차이가 있었지만, 거리가 증가할수록 그 차이는 감소하였다. 그 중 크레아틴 수치의 경우 100 cm에서 집단 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않는 특징이 있었다. 환자 1명으로부터 받은 선량은 주사 업무를 하는 직원($T_1$, $T_2$, $T_3$)의 경우 0.70, 1.09, $0.55{\mu}Sv/person$이었고, 스캔($T_4$, $T_5$, $T_6$)의 경우 1.25, 0.82, $1.23{\mu}Sv/person$이었다. 응대시간이 상대적으로 적은 $T_4$직원의 경우 $T_3$, $T_5$보다 34% 낮은 누적선량을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 환자와의 적정거리 유지와 응대시간 감소가 누적선량에 크게 작용함을 알 수 있었다. 위와 같은 점을 고려했을 때, 환자의 충분한 수분 섭취 및 배뇨, 방사선 작업종사자와 환자 간 적정거리유지(최소 100 cm이상) 및 응대시간 감소를 위해 노력해야 할 것이고, 환자의 video tracking system과 장비의 원격조정 등을 통해 피폭선량 저감화를 위해 노력해야 한다. Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the external dose rates of $^{18}F-FDG$ Whole Body PET/CT patients by distance, and to identify the main factors that contribute to the reduction of radiation dose by checking the cumulative doses of nuclear medicine technologist(NMT). Materials and Methods After completion of the $^{18}F-FDG$ Whole Body PET/CT scan($75.4{\pm}3.3min$), the external dose rates of 106 patients were measured at a distance of 0, 10, 30, 50, and 100 cm from the chest. Gender, age, BMI(Body Mass Index), fasting time, diabetes mellitus, radiopharmaceutical injection information, creatine value were collected to analyze individual factors that could affect external dose rates from a patient's perspective. From the perspective of NMT, personal pocket dosimeters were worn on the chest to record accumulated dose of NMT who performed the injection task($T_1$, $T_2$ and $T_3$) and scan task($T_4$, $T_5$ and $T_6$). In addition, patient contact time with NMT was measured and analyzed. Results External dose rates from the patient for each distance were calculated as $246.9{\pm}37.6$, $129.9{\pm}16.7$, $61.2{\pm}9.1$, $34.4{\pm}5.9$, and $13.1{\pm}2.4{\mu}Sv/hr$ respectively. On the patient's aspect, there was a significant difference in the proximity of gender, BMI, Injection dose and creatine value, but the difference decreased as the distance increased. In case of dialysis patient, external dose rates for each distance were exceptionally higher than other patients. On the NMT aspect, the doses received from patients were 0.70, 1.09, $0.55{\mu}Sv/person$ for performing the injection task($T_1$, $T_2$, and $T_3$), and were 1.25, 0.82, $1.23{\mu}Sv/person$ for performing the scan task($T_4$, $T_5$, $T_6$). Conclusion we found that maintaining proper distance with patient and reducing contact time with patient had a significant effect on accumulated doses. Considering those points, efforts such as sufficient water intake and encourage of urination, maintaining the proper distance between the NMT and the patient(at least 100 cm), and reducing the contact time should be done for reducing dose rates not only patient but also NMT.

        Interferon과 Ribavirin 병용요법 시행중인 만성 C형간염 환자에서 발생한 부작용에 대한 침구치료 증례

        Objective : Interferon-alpha and Rivabirin are much used at the same time to treat Chronical C viral hepatitis. But interferon caused lots of unexpected side effects, Acupuncture Treatment for them will be an alternative plan. Methods : We first posed questions to a 4 year-old man who ha skin flare, fatigue, itching, insomnia, pronounced a diagnosis based on overall of symptoms and signs and then treated Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Electroacupuncture. We acupunctured a BL17, BL18, BL20 and removed it at once. We electroacupunctured at GV20, Yin tang(Ex-HN3) form 20 minutes, acupunctured at Bi yi(鼻翼, Extra-point), S36, P6. Pizhengge(脾定格) was acupunctured for 10 minutes. Results : The symptoms of fatigue, insomnia, itching are reduced after acupuncture treatments and they made a person keep interferon treatment on. Conclusions : We confirmed that acupuncture treatments make a patient of chronic C viral hepatitis reduce and improve side effects of interferon treatment. We should keep on studying the various and efficient method of acupuncture treatment to improve living quality and treatment efficiency of patients.

        수산화아파타이트/알루미나 복합체의 기계적 특성에 미치는 불화물 첨가제의 영향

        Hydroxyapatite $(HAp,\;Ca_{10}(PO_4)_6(OH)_2)$/alumina composites were fabricated with the addition of fluorides, such as $MgF_2$ and $CaF_2$. In this study, the effect of fluorides on the inhibition of phase decomposition and the mechanical properties of HAp was investigated. Due to the higher solubility of F ion in HAp structure, $MgF_2$ additive was more effective compared to $CaF_2$ additive in the lowering decomposition temperature of HAp. Therefore, the dissociation tendency of HAp was fully inhibited below $1400^{\circ}C$. The mechanical properties of HAp composites with $MgF_2$ additive showed higher value (flexural strength: $\~170MPa$, Vickers hardness: $\~7\;GPa$, fracture toughness: $\~1.5\;MPam^{1/2}$) compared to $MgF_2-free$ composites. The linear thermal expansion coefficient of HAp composites with $MgF_2$ showed the value of $16.4\times10^{-6}/^{\circ}C\;at\;20\~400^{\circ}C $.

        Scintillation Properties of a Cs2NaCeBr6 Crystal under X-ray, γ-ray and Proton Irradiations

        In this paper, the crystal growth and scintillation properties of a Cs2NaCeBr6 crystal are pre- sented. The crystal was grown with the Bridgman method by using a two-zone transparent furnace. The investigation of the scintillation properties of the crystal were performed under excitation by X-rays, γ-rays and protons at room temperature. When the Cs2NaCeBr6 crystal was excited by X-rays and protons, the emission spectrum of the crystal was observed in the range of 380~460 nm, which is due to the 5d ! 4f transitions of Ce3+. The decay times of the Ce3+ emission excited by 137Cs 662 keV γ-rays. were about 140 ns (94 %) and 880 ns (6 %). The energy resolution of the crystal was obtained to be 6.7 % for the 137Cs 662 keV γ-rays and the absolute light yield of the Cs2NaCeBr6 crystal was about 25,000 phs/MeV.
