        타액선 다형성 선종에서 Glycosaminoglycan의 발현

        Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common benign tumor in salivary glands, and occurred in frequency of 60% in parotid gland tumors, and 50% in submandibular gland tumors, and 25% in sublingual gland tumors. Histopathologically, pleomorphic adenoma is composed of epithelial cells and mesenchymal tissues, and called 'mixed tumor' because of morphological divergency. The cell structures of luminal area are composed of polyhedral and cuboidal secretory epithelial cells and modified myoepithelial cells around it, and mesenchymal tissue is composed of some myoepithelial cells and stromal tissue. In stromal tissue, myxoid change, chondroid change, or hyalinization can be seen even if bone tissue. In many studies, tumor cells of pleomorphic adenoma containing modified myoepithelial cell participate in synthesis of glycosaminoglycans. In this study, tissue sample of pleomorphic adenoma of human salivary gland were obtained from 20 surgical specimens, and all specimens were routinely fixed in 10% formalin and embedded. Serial 4-8${\mu}m$ thick sections were cut from paraffin blocks. The histopathologic evaluation was done with light microscopy. And, with immunohistochemical staining, characteristics of glycosaminoglycan were observed. And, for biochemical analysis of glycosaminoglycan, isolation of crude glycosaminoglycan from tumor tissue and immuno-blot analysis were carried out. With transmission electromicroscopy, tumor cells and biologic behavior of pleomorphic adenoma were observed with distribution and expression of glycosaminoglycan in tumor cells, The results were obtained as follows: 1. In immunohistochemical study, chondroitin 4-sulfate is highly postively stained in myxoid stromal tissue, and chondroitin 6-sulfate is highly positively stained in chondroid mesenchymal tissue, both glycosaminoglycans are positively stained in non-luminal cell of ductal area. 2. Dermatan sulfate and keratan sulfate is positively stained in periductal non-luminal tumor cells. 3. In immunohistochemical study, heparan sulfate is weakly stained in luminal cells and non-luminal cells around duct, and chondroid mesenchymal tissue. 4. In transmission electromicroscopic view, the tumor cells are composed of modified myoepithelial cells, and contain many microfilaments and well developed rough endoplasmic reticulum. 5. In Immuno-Blot analysis, the expression of glycosaminoglycans is expressed mostly in chondroitin 6-sulfate and chondroitin 4-sulfate. From the results obtained in this study, tumor cells of pleomorphic adenoma are composed of modified myoepithelial cells, and glycosaminoglycans of chondroitin 4-sulfate and chondroitin 6-sulfate mostly participate in the development of pleomorphic adenoma, but dermatan sulfate, keratan sulfate and heparan sulfate glycosaminoglycans were expressed variably.

        Ultrastructural Localization of ZnT3 and Zinc Ions in the Mouse Choroid Plexus

        We have detected the murine zinc transporter, ZnT3, and zinc ions in the mouse choroid plexus by immunocytochemistry (ICC) and zinc selenium autometallography ($ZnSe^{AMG}$), respectively. BALB/c mice served as experimental animals. Routine floating ABC immunocytochemical procedures were used for the ZnT3 immunocytochemistry, and the mice were injected intraperitoneally (i.p.) with sodium selenide (10 mg/kg) for the zinc selenium autometallography. The choroid plexus showed weak immunoreactivity (Ir) for ZnT3. At high magnification, ZnT3-Ir was seen to be located in the choroid epithelium and the connective tissue of the capillaries. At the EM level, a high electron density of ZnT3-immunoreactivity was restricted to vesicle membranes as well as microvilli in the apical membrane. In contrast, immunostaining of ZnT3 was completely absent in the basolateral plasma membrane and other cell organelles. After silver enhancement, fine $ZnSe^{AMG}$ grains were observed in both the epithelial and endothelial cells of the choroid plexus. Few $ZnSe^{AMG}$ grains present in the cell bodies of the choroid epithelial cells were located in multivesicular bodies. It is striking that very many $ZnSe^{AMG}$ grains were observed in the endothelial cells of the capillaries. These findings establish the choroid plexus as a non-neuronal pool of zinc ions in the brain, although the functional significance of this pool is not clear. The choroid epithelium, however, may play an important role in the transportation of zinc between the CSF and brain tissue. 본 연구는 BALB/c 생쥐 맥악얼기내 ZnT3 및 zinc 이온을 ZnT3 항혈청을 이용한 면역세포화학법(ABC법)과 autometallography ($ZnSe^{AMG}$)로 각각 동정하였다. 저배율에서 맥락얼기내 ZnT3 면역반응은 미약하였으나, 고배율에서는 맥락상피와 맥락조직에 국한된 뚜렷한 면역반응이 관찰되었다. 전자현미경에서 관찰된 ZnT3 면역반응은 주로 맥락상피의 자유면쪽 미세융모 및 막성 소기관에 국한되었던 반면 맥락조직내 모세혈관의 내피세포에서는 면역반응이 전혀 관찰되지 않았다. AMG 염색결과 맥락상피와 맥락조직에서 강한 AMG 과립이 관찰되었으며, 특히 모세혈관의 내피상피에서 가장 많이 AMG 과립이 분포하고 있었다. 맥락상피내 AMG 과립은 주로 다소포체에서 관찰되었으며, 소수는 특정 세포질소기관과 상관없이 사이토졸에 산재해 있었다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 저자들은 맥락얼기가 일종의 zinc pool의 역할이 있을 것이며, 최소한 뇌척수액과 뇌실질간에 zinc의 이동에 중요한 역할을 담당할 것으로 믿는다.

      • 직교 기저함수 기반의 혼합 신경회로망 구조

        웨이블릿 함수의 경우 스케일링 함수에서 비롯되었으며, 스케일과 중심을 결정함으로써 신경회로망의 노드로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 함수를 이용하여 망을 구성하는 과정에 스케일링 함수를 은닉층의 노드로 복합 구성한 구조를 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 구조의 특징은 스케일링 함수를 이용하여 대강 근사(rough approximation)를 행한 다음, 웨이블릿 함수를 이용하여 미세 근사(fine approximation)를 행하도록 신경회로망의 은닉층을 복합 구성하는 데 있다. 또한, 복합 신경회로망을 구성하는 과정에서 미세 근사에 필요한 웨이블릿 함수의 개수를 유전 알고리즘을 이용하여 결정하는 초기 구조의 최적화를 도모하고자 한다. The wavelet functions are originated from scaling functions and can be used as activation function in the hidden node of the network by deciding two parameters such as scale and center. In this paper, we would like to propose the mixed structure. When we compose the WNN using wavelet functions, we propose to set a single scale function as a node function together. The properties of the proposed structure is that while one scale function approximates the target function roughly, the other wavelet functions approximate it finely. During the determination of the parameters, the wavelet functions can be determined by the global search algorithm such as genetic algorithm to be suitable for the suggested problem. Finally, we use the back-propagation algorithm in the learning of the weights.

        중국소비자 조사에서 휴대폰의 원산국 효과에 따른 라이프스타일 실증 연구

        이 논문에서는 중국소비자들을 대상으로 휴대폰의 원산국 효과에 따라 라이프스타일에서 어떤 차이점이 있는지 실증 분석해 보고자 한다. 분석 데이터는 Kim 등 (2006, 2007)에 의해 선행연구 된 바 있다. 그룹 멤버십은 휴대폰의 원산국 효과에 대한 응답을 바탕으로 응답자를 4개 그룹으로 분류하였다. 즉, 4개 그룹은 한국산 휴대폰을 선호하는 그룹 K, 일본산 휴대폰을 선호하는 그룹 J, 미국산 휴대폰을 선호하는 그룹 U, 그리고 중국산 휴대폰을 선호하는 그룹 C이다. 이러한 그룹 멤버십을 바탕으로 일원배치 분산분석과 단계적 판별분석을 이용하여 89개 라이프스타일 변수와 2개 개인정보로 이루어진 학습표본 (training sample)을 4개 그룹으로 분류하였다. 그 결과 한국산 휴대폰을 선호하는 그룹 K는 중국산 휴대폰을 선호하는 그룹 C에 비해 개방적이고, 진보적이고, 적극적이고, 그리고 개성이 강한 것으로 보였다. This paper is an empirical study of chinese consumers' lifestyle by country of origin effect of mobile phone. The data we analyze in this paper was collected and studied in Kim et al. (2006, 2007). We classify the respondents into the four groups according to the responses of country of origin effect of mobile phone. The four groups are group K (preference in made in Korea), group J (preference in made in Japan), group U (preference in made in USA), and group C (preference in made in China). One-way ANOVA and stepwise discriminant analysis are applied to classify the training sample which consists of 89 lifestyle variables and two personnel information. It is observed that group K is more open-minded, out front, aggressive, and self-assertive compared to group C.

        GIS 진단시스템의 평가를 위한 PD 모의 펄스발생기 개발에 관한 연구

        The expansion and stable operation of electric power facilities are important factors with development of industrial facilities in modern society. In high-voltage equipment such as GIS, the insulation characteristics may be deterioated by environment-friendly gas adaption and miniaturization. There is also the possibility of accidents due to insulation breakdown due to the deterioration of power facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to extend the diagnosis system to continuously monitor the danger signals of these power equipment and to prevent accidents. Most of the internal defects in the GIS system are conductive particles, floating electrode defects, protrusion defects, and the like. In this case, a partial discharge phenomenon is accompanied. These partial discharge signals occur irregularly and various noise signals are included in the field, so it is difficult to evaluate the reliability in the development of the diagnostic system. In this paper, a study was made on equipment capable of generating a partial discharge simulated signal that can be adjusted in size and frequency to be applied to a diagnostic device by electromagnetic wave detection method. The PD simulated pulse generator consists of a user interface module, a high-voltage charging module, a pulse forming circuit, a voltage sensor and an embedded controller. In order to simulate the partial discharge phenomenon similar to the actual GIS, a discharge cell was designed and fabricated. The application of the prototype pulse generator to the commercialized PD diagnosis module confirmed that it can be used to evaluate the performance of the diagnostic device. It can be used for the development of GIS diagnosis system and performance verification for reliability evaluation.

      • Atrial Natriuretic Peptide in Thermal Acclimation in the Catfish, Silisnss fnsotus

        Responses of immunoreactive atrial natriuretic peptide (ir-ANP) to environmental temperature were studied in the freshwater catfish, Silums usotus, acclimated at various temperatures for one week. According to increase in environmental temperature, plasma sodium and chloride concentrations, and osmolality were significantly increased, while hematocrit showed a marked decrease. When the catfishes frere acclimated at cold $(3^{\circ}C)$ or warm $(18^{\circ}C)$ temperatures, ir-ANP contents in the atrium and bulbus arteriosus were significantly lower than those at $9^{\circ}C.$ However, ventricular contents of ir-ANP urere not different among the three groups.Levels of plasma ir-ANP in the catfish increased in response to the increment of acclimated temperature. On the basis of these results, we suggest that the environmental temperature may modulate synthesis and secretion of ir-hUP in the fish. We also suggest that changes of plasma ir-ANP levels may be associated with the control of body fluid homeostasis.

        신경망과 전이학습 기반 표면 결함 분류에 관한 연구

        In this paper, a method for improving the defect classification performance in low contrast, ununiformity and featureless steel plate surfaces has been studied based on deep convolution neural network and transfer-learning neural network. The steel plate surface images have low contrast, ununiformity, and featureless, so that the contrast between defect and defect-free regions are not discriminated. These characteristics make it difficult to extract the feature of the surface defect image. A classifier based on a deep convolution neural network is constructed to extract features automatically for effective classification of images with these characteristics. As results of the experiment, AlexNet-based transfer-learning classifier showed excellent classification performance of 99.43% with less than 160 seconds of training time. The proposed classification system showed excellent classification performance for low contrast, ununiformity, and featureless surface images.
