To evaluate parameters influencing on the dust removal of the High Temperature Filter(HTF) system, a computer simulation of fluid dynamics inside the system had been performed. The results showed that the optimum pulse jet periods were 50ms and 90ms for the 1000mm and 1500mm long filter elements respectively. Dust removal effect was very excellent under the pulse jet pressure of 3 bar. But the distance between the pulse jet nozzle and the venturi of a filter element had no meaningful effect on the performance with the variation from 5mm to 10mm. Compared to the dispersion mode of pulse jet, the collective mode of pulse jet flow was preferable in maintaining the pressure inside the system stable.

In order to get useful information for the water quality of the Keum river bank from water resources, physico-chemecal measurement methods were applied to water samples in the area of the Keum river estuary reservoir. Water samples were collected seasonally from 14 different points which were the same as 2 years ago. Electrical conductivity, pH and water temperature were measured in suit test. BOD, COD and other chemical analysis were done by instantally in environmental laboratory at Jeonju university. Seasonal changes of electrical conductivity, BOD, DO and T-N in the Keum river bank were observed obviously, but COD was not observed. Some sampling site have a different water quality as comparied with other one for BOD, COD, NH3-N, TP and TN, especially monthly average of TP, TOC and conductivity are more higher values than 2 years ago. It was concluded that water quality of the Keum river bank was evaluated as 2nd and 3rd level of tap water resource not so much different as compared with BOD and COD references 2 years ago.

Through total 3 times sampling from Jeonju and Samcheon stream, water quality monitoring and ecosystem survey have done. Engineering method area for natural type stream was J-1-J-7, pH in these area were 7.78-9.31. DO values were shown as 7.90-9.61mg/L which containing very rich dissolved oxygen, these values were equivalent to 1st level compared with reference of stream water. BOD were shown as 0.90∼1.9lmg/L to equivalent to lst, 2nd level to reference of stream water. But COD values were 1.63∼3.68mg/L, these values suggested 2nd and 3rd levels to reference of pond and lake water. T-N were 3.30-4.44mg/L, which were out of level of 5th to it. T-P were 0.017-0.076mg/L and these were also equivalent to 3rd level to it. Water quality level in natural type stream area showed effective results in many items, but total nitrogen showed very high concentration compared with other items. Now under restoration area at J-8 and J-9, water quality have had more higher polluted values than natural type stream area. It was concluded that water quality after restoration natural type stream was changed into 1st level water quality at almost every points in Jeonju stream.
