        2007년 서울 지역에서 판매되고 있는 반찬류의 세균 오염과 항생제 내성실태

        The purpose of this research was to investigate the microbiological quality and antimicrobial susceptibilities of the ready-to-eat side dishes, which are were collected from the grocery stores, big markets, and department stores in Seoul throughout November, 2007. Of total 124 samples, presence of staphylococci and enteric bacilli was observed in 38 samples (31%) and 53 samples (43%), respectively. And 30 samples (24%) were shown to be of unsatisfactory quality for total bacterial count (>$10^5$). Antimicrobial susceptibilities of the staphylococci isolated from the side dishes were tested for six different antimicrobial agents, which are in widespread clinical use in Korea, as well as four new antimicrobials, daptomycin, linezolid, quinupristin/dalfopristin and tigecycline. As a result, the staphylococcal isolates were found to be resistant to oxacillin (${MIC}_{90}$, >128 ${\mu}g$/ml), teicoplanin (${MIC}_{90}$, >128 ${\mu}g$/ml), mupirocin (${MIC}_{90}$, >128 ${\mu}g$/ml), linezolid (${MIC}_{90}$, 128 ${\mu}g$/ ml) and quinupristin/dalfopristin (${MIC}_{90}$, 32 ${\mu}g$/ml). Especially, some of the staphylococcal isolates exhibited high level and multi-drug resistance. Moreover, these bacteria were also resistant to new antimicrobials, except tigecycline.

        성격 강점에 기반한 유아교사의 행복 증진 프로그램 적용 및 효과

        본 연구는 성격 강점에 기반한 유아교사의 행복 증진 프로그램을 유아교사에게 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하고 추후 효과적인 적용을 위한 시사점을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 유아교사 40명으로 실험집단 20명, 통제집단 20명으로 구성되었다. 실험집단에는 주 1회, 2시간씩 13회기의 프로그램을 제공하였으며, 통제집단에는 아무런 처치도 가하지 않았다. 본 연구에서 사용된 측정도구는 다차원적행복척도, 긍정심리치료척도, 영유아교사의 행복측정척도였다. 연구 결과, 모든 종속측정치에서 실험집단과 통제집단 간 유의미한 사후검사 평균 차이가 나타났으며, 집단 간 차이는 4주 후인 추후검사까지 지속되었다. 이를 통해본 연구에서 개발된 성격 강점에 기반한 유아교사의 행복 증진 프로그램이 유아교사들의 행복 증진에 실질적인 기여를 하고, 그 효과가 프로그램 종료 후에도 지속적으로 유지된다는것을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to apply Kim Mi-jin(2015)’s Character Strengths- Based Happiness Enhancement Program for Early Childhood Teachers to participating early childhood teachers to examine its effect and ultimately to give some suggestions on the effective application of the program. The subjects of this study were 40 early childhood teachers who were 20 teachers in an experimental group and 20 in a control group. The experimental group participated in this program for 13 weeks, once a week and two hour at a time, and the control group did not participate in this program at all. The scales for this study were Multidimensional Measure of Flourishing, Positive Psychotherapy Inventory and Happiness Measurement Scale for Early Childhood Teachers. As a result of this study, there were significant differences in all dependent measures for the post test between the experimental group and the control group and these differences between groups lasted to the retention test which was conducted 4 weeks later after the program application. It confirms that the Character Strengths-Based Happiness Enhancement Program for Early Childhood Teachers, which was developed in this study, is an effective way to enhance early childhood teachers’ happiness and the program remained steadily effective even after completing the program.

      • 효율적인 색인어 추출을 위한 합성명사 생성 방안에 대한 연구

        The efficiency of thesytem depends upon an accurate extraction capability of index terms in the system of information search or in that of automatic index. Therefore, extraction of accurate index terms is of utmost importance. This report presents the generation methods of composition noun for efficient index term extraction by using words of high frequency appearance, so that the right documents can be found during information search. For the sake of presentation of this method, index terms of composition noun shall be extracted by applying the rule of composition and disintegration to the nouns with high frequency of appearance in the documents, such as those with upper 30%∼40% of frequency ratio. In addition, for he purpose of effecting an inspection of validity in relation to a composition of high frequency nouns such as those with upper 30∼40% of frequency ratio as presented in this report, it proposes an adequate frquency ratio during noun composition. Based upon the proposed application, in this short documents with less than 300 syllables, low frequency omissions were noticed, when composed with nouns in the upper 30% of frequency ratio; whereas the documents with more than 30 syllables, when composed with nouns in he upper 40% of frequency ration, had a considerable reduction of low frequency omissions. Thus, total number of index terms has decreased to 57.7% of these existing and an accurate extraction of index terms with an 85.6% adequacy ratio became possible.

        림프세포증식성 질환에서 효과를 보인 부분적 비동맥 색전술 1례

        저자들은 간 이식 후 지속적 비기능 항진에 발생된 내과적 치료에 반응하지 않는 림프세포증식성질환의 6세된 남아에서 부분적 비동맥 색전술을 치료의 한 방법으로 선택하였다. 비기능항진의 억제 효과로 면역력 증강을 통해 혈액학적 호전을 유도하고자 하였으며 치료 후 PTLD의 호전을 보인 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Posttranplantations lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD) is a common and life-threatening complication for soid organ transplantation associated with the use of chronic immunosuppression and Epstein-Barr virus. There is no standardized treatment algorithm, but numerous management strategies are vaiable. Partial splenic embolization (PSE) had been demonstrated to be an effetive alternatie to splenectomy for patients hypersplenism and portal hypertension. PSE has the advantages of non-invasive intervention and resolution of the complications of hypersplenism. We report the effect of the PSE in a 6-year old male liver transplantation recepient with PTLD who has undergone persistent hypersplenism post-transplant. We reduced immunosuppression agent, started antiviral agent. We started with interferon and IV globulin one month after admission. Hepatosplenomegaly and cervical lymphadenopathy were improved. But fever was not subside. We selectively embolized the lower pole of the spleen to achieve a 50~60% reduction in flow as determined by angiography. After embolization, fever subside and peripheral blood findings were improved. Follow up abdominal CT revealed reduced volume of spleen due to ischemic change and there was no multiple enlarged mesenteric lymphnode compared to preembolization state. We thick that PSE is a safe an effetive treatment modality of PTLD with persistent hypersplenism in patients twho failed to medical treatment.

        Sn-Bi도금 $Sn-3.5\%Ag$ 솔더를 이용한 Capacitor의 저온 솔더링

        Since lead (Pb)-free solders for electronics have higher melting points than that of eutectic Sn-Pb solder, they need higher soldering temperatures. In order to decrease the soldering temperature we tried to coat Sn-Bi layer on $Sn-3.5\%Ag$ solder by electroplating, which applies the mechanism of transient liquid phase bonding to soldering. During heating Bi will diffuse into the $Sn-3.5\%Ag$ solder and this results in decreasing soldering temperature. As bonding samples, the 1608 capacitor electroplated with Sn, and PCB, its surface was finished with electroless-plated Ni/Au, were selected. The $Sn-95.7\%Bi$ coated Sn-3.5Ag was supplied as a solder between the capacitor and PCB land. The samples were reflowed at $220^{\circ}C$, which was lower than that of normal reflow temperature, $240\~250^{\circ}C$, for the Pb-free. As experimental result, the joint of $Sn-95.7\%Bi$ coated Sn-3.5Ag showed high shear strength. In the as-reflowed state, the shear strength of the coated solder showed 58.8N, whereas those of commercial ones were 37.2N (Sn-37Pb), 31.4N (Sn-3Ag-0.5Cu), and 40.2N (Sn-8Zn-3Bi). After thermal shock of 1000 cycles between $-40^{\circ}C$ and $+125^{\circ}C$, shear strength of the coated solder showed 56.8N, whereas the previous commercial solders were in the range of 32.3N and 45.1N. As the microstructures, in the solder $Ag_3Sn$ intermetallic compound (IMC), and along the bonded interface $Ni_3Sn_4$ IMC were observed.

        Exposure to mercury induced early apoptotic signals in human placental BeWo cells through alteration of cell cycle regulation

        Backgrounds Heavy metals are environmental pollutants and their breakdown is regarded as a serious risk to human health. Despite increasing evidence that heavy metals have adverse efects in vivo and in vitro, there is no evidence of the efect of heavy metals during placental formation. Objective We determined the efect of heavy metals on cell viability of BeWo human placental cells using MTS assay and live and dead assay. We also evaluated cell proliferation, cell cycle, and apoptosis by heavy metal treatment using FACS analysis. Results Mercury chloride induces severe cell cycle arrest at the sub-G1 phase by the accumulation of cyclin B. Furthermore, we identifed that mercury chloride induces apoptosis by enhancing the activity of caspase-3. However, we were unable to confrm the deleterious efect of lead in BeWo cells. Conclusion Our results suggested that exposure to heavy metals, specifcally mercury chloride, induced cytotoxic efects in BeWo cells through cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.

        In vitro Screening of Jeju Island Plants for Cosmetic Ingredients

        To identify new active cosmetic ingredients of natural origin, we screened the biological activities of 50 different kinds of plants from Jeju Island, the southernmost island of the Korean Peninsula. In this study, plant extracts were screened for inhibitory effects on elastase, nitric oxide, and melanin production, and for free radical scavenging effects. Eight plants, Viburnum erosum Thunb., Trachelospermum asiaticum var. intermedium Nakai, Sageretia theezans Brongn., Sorbus alnifolia var. hirtella T. Lee, Staphylea bumalda DC., Pourthicea villosa var. brunnea Nak., Illicium religiosum S. et Z., and Castanopsis cuspidata var. sieboldii Nakai were potent inhibitors of elastase (over 80% inhibition at 1 mg/mL). Elaeocarpus sylvestris var. Ellipticus (Thunb.) Hara ($IC_{50}$: $13.99{\mu}g/mL$), Sapium sebiferum (L.) ROXB. ($IC_{50}$: $14.27{\mu}g/mL$), and Castanopsis cuspidata var. sieboldii Nakai ($IC_{50}$: $16.46{\mu}g/mL$) showed good antioxidant effects. Eurya japonica Thunb., Quercus myrsinaefolia Bl., Caesalpinia decapetala var. japonica (S. et Z.) Ohashi, Weigela subsessilis L. H. Bailey, and Crinum asiaticum var. japonicum dose-dependently inhibited LPS-induced NO production on RAW 264.7 cells (at $50-200{\mu}g/mL$). Furthermore, Elaeocarpus sylvestris var. Ellipticus (Thunb.) Hara, Ilex integra Thunb., and Agastache rugosa (Fisch. et Meyer) O. Kuntze dose-dependently inhibited ${\alpha}-MSH$ stimulated melanin synthesis on B16 F10 cells (at $25-100{\mu}g/mL$). These results suggest that Jeju Island plants possess several biological activities and may be potent anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, skin-whitening, and anti-oxidative ingredients as functional cosmetic materials.

        Comparison of the cytotoxicity of bisphenol A and its analogs on human placental BeWo cells

        Background Bisphenol A (BPA) and its alternatives (BPF, BPS) are widely used in daily consumer products, which commonly expose humans to these chemicals. Bisphenols (BPs) are endocrine-disrupting chemicals widely present in the environment and can accumulate in the entire food chain by circulating in the ecosystem. In humans, BPs intake leads to accumulation in the human body and causes many chronic diseases, including endocrine disruption, immunotoxicity, and cancer. Objective Although several studies have demonstrated the negative eff ect of BPA and its alternatives, studies have yet to be determined whether bisphenols can aff ect human trophoblast cells. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the toxic eff ect of BPs on the human trophoblast cell line BeWo. Results We investigated the cytotoxic eff ect of BPs on human trophoblast cells. The cytotoxicity was measured by the MTS assay and fl ow cytometric analysis that representing the cell viability, cell proliferation, cell cycle progression and apoptotic cell death. BPs had no eff ect on BeWo cell viability at concentrations below 100 mM, and did not cause signifi cant changes in cell proliferation and apoptosis. However, BPA and BPS altered cell cycle progression and checkpoint regulator expression. Conclusion BPs did not aff ect cell viability and proliferation. However, BPS altered the G 0 /G 1 and G 2 /M phases of the trophoblast BeWo cells by increasing cyclin B1 expression.
