문학의 텍스트는 하나의 이미지로서 기능을 하고 있어 다양한 표현으로 수용자의 감성을 자극하는 디자인 요소와 상관성이 크다. 이상의 <오감도>는 현대성에 대한 고찰을 통해1930년대 식민지 상황, 서구 문화의 수용 과정 속에 고뇌하는 자아의 성찰과 그만의 독특한 시 의식으로 풀어낸 것이다. 이를 디자인적 관점에서 분석하는 과정은 우리의 시각문화가 불안한 사회현상 속에 과거를 통한 동시대의 모습을 해석하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 이에 이상과 이상 문학의 기존연구 검토를 통해 그동안 진행되었던 연구 방법론을 정리하였고, 이상 문학의 전반적인 고찰을 통해 <오감도>이해의 틀을 마련하였다. 본 연구를 통해 현대성과 현대 디자인에 대한 이론적 정리를 통해 이상 문학과 현대디자인의 상관성을 밝혔으며, <오감도>에 나타난 다섯 가지로 요약된 모더니즘의 요소가 13편의 시에서 표현되고 있다는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 현대 디자인적 사고에 대한 분석이 21세기 현대사회의 불안한 사회현상에서 이상 문학을 다각도로 분석하고 다양한 학문으로서의 접근이 필요한 이상 문학의 가치이며 디자인에 있어서도 간과할 수 없는 연구과제로 인식되기를 바라는 바이다. As literary texts function as an image, they are largely correlated with design elements that stimulate consumers with various expressions. Through consideration of modernity, by Lee, Sang expresses self-examination in the process of accepting Western culture under the colonial period of 1930s, based on his own unique spirit of poetry. The whole process of analyzing this in the aspect of design could be an interpretation of the contemporary looks through the past, in social phenomenon with unstable visual culture. Through the review of the existing researches on Lee, Sang and his literature, this study summarized their research methodologies, and also established the framework of understanding through overall consideration of Lee, Sang`s literature. This study revealed not only the correlation between Lee, Sang`s literature and modern design, through theoretical summarization of both modernity and modern design, but also the fact in which the elements of modernism summarized into five elements shown in are expressed in 13 poems. Such an analysis on thinking of modern design should be recognized as a research subject that cannot be ignored in design and value of Lee, Sang`s literature that needs to be approached by various studies and to be analyzed from various angles, in such unstable social phenomenon of the 21st modern society.
