Recently, advances in nano-material researches have opened the door for various transparent conductive materials, which include carbon nanotube, graphene, Ag and Cu nanowire, and printable metal grids. Among them, Ag nanowires are particularly interesting to synthesize because bulk Ag exhibits the highest electrical conductivity among all metals. Here we reviewed recently-published research works introducing various devices from organic light emitting diode to tactile sensing devices, all of which are employing AgNW for a conducting material. They proposed methods to enhance the stretchability and reversibility of the transparent electrodes, and apply them to make various flexible and stretchable electronics. It is expected that Ag nanowires are applicable to a wide range of high-performance, low-cost, stretchable electronic devices.

Objective: A new blind intubation device (BID) has been developed for endotracheal intubation. This study aimed to test the usability of the BID in comparison to direct laryngoscopy (DL) and video laryngoscopy (VL) with inexperienced healthcare providers for endotracheal intubation. Methods: This was a randomized crossover simulation study. Participants who had conducted fewer than five live intubation sessions were included in the study. The manikin simulation was conducted using a Laerdal trainer airway manikin. Participants performed intubation using all three devices, DL, VL, and BID. The primary outcome was intubation success rate in the first pass the secondary outcome was intubation time to first ventilation, and the tertiary outcome was dental injury. Results: A total of 45 healthcare workers who were novices in intubation participated in this study, including 13 physicians (interns), 14 emergency medical technicians, and 18 nurses. The intubation success rates in the first pass with BID, DL, and VL were 93.3%, 91.1%, and 97.8%, respectively (P=0.53). The intubation times to first ventilation with BID, DL, and VL were 13.15±6.16, 19.07±7.71, and 17.31±6.57 seconds, respectively (P<0.01). The proportions of dental injuries associated with BID, DL, and VL were 0% for physicians; 28.6%, 14.3%, and 0%, respectively for emergency medical technicians; and 27.8%, 11.1%, and 16.7%, respectively for nurses. Conclusion: We performed a pilot study to test the usability of the new BID. There was no significant difference in intubation success rate in the first pass among BID, DL, and VL. The intubation time to first ventilation was shorter with the BID compared to DL and VL.

중진 지역에 있는 RC 골조의 횡하중에 대한 설계에서 저층부에 있는 보와 기둥의 강도는 상층부의 강도보다 커야만 한다. 그러나 횡하중에 대한 보의 설계 모멘트를 골조의 수평방향뿐만 아니라 수직방향으로 재분배 시킬 수 있고 그 결과 모든 보의 강도를 같게 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 최대한 많은 층의 보 휨 강도를 동일하게 만들기 위한 수직방향 보 모멘트 재분배의 영향을 살펴보는데 있다. 2경간-6층 RC 골조를 수직방향 모멘트 재분배를 고려한 경우와 고려치 않은 경우로 각각 설계하고 이들의 내진성능을 정적 비선형 한계하중 해석법과 동적 비선형 시간이력 해석법을 이용하여 구하였다. 해석결과 수직방향으로 보의 모멘트를 재분배하면 재분배 한 크기만큼 증가된 연성도를 요구하지만, 이 추가적인 요구는 상세설계가 잘된 RC 부재의 연성도 능력보다 작다. For the lateral load resistance of a RC frame in a medium risk seismic zone, the strength of lower story beams and columns should be larger than those of the upper stories. However, the lateral loads can be accommodated by redistributing design beam moments vertically as well as horizontally so all beams end up with identical strengths. This paper looks at the impact of the vertical redistribution of beam moments to provide identical beam strength over as many floors as possible. Two-bay six-story RC frame was designed with and without vertical beam moment redistribution and its seismic performance were evaluated by using push-over limit analysis and by non-linear time history dynamic analysis. Analytical results show that with the use of vertical beam moment redistribution the increase in the ductility demand is similar to the proportion of moment redistribution applied, but this additional demand is below the ductility capacity of well detailed RC members.

The 3-dimensional (3D) chip stacking technology is a leading technology to realize a high density and high performance system in package (SiP). There are several kinds of methods for chip stacking, but the stacking and interconnection through Cu filled through-hole via is considered to be one of the most advanced stacking technologies. Therefore, we studied the optimum process of through-hole via formation and Cu filling process for Si wafer stacking. Through-hole via was formed with DRIE (Deep Reactive ion Etching) and Cu filling was realized with the electroplating method. The optimized conditions for the via formation were RE coil power of 200 W, etch/passivation cycle time of 6.5 : 6 s and SF6 : C4F8 gas flow rate of 260 : 100 sccm. The reverse pulsed current of 1.5 A/dm2 was the most favorable condition for the Cu electroplating in the via. The Cu filled Si wafer was chemically and mechanically polished (CMP) for the following flip chip bumping technology.

The control algorithm of a new type self-bearing step motor is presented. The motor actuator is used for both motor and bearing functionality without any redundant coil windings or redundant electromagnets. The self$.$bearing step motor layout and its control method are described. A linearized farce-current-displacement relationship is derived. As the result of the unbalance response approach, the constant torque production is possible fur the supply current regulation algorithm. And even if the bearing functionality is added in the motor functionality, no additional current for bearing functionality is possible, and this leads to minimize the net power loss. Also, the unbalance response shows the independent bearing force and motor torque.

Dae Gon The study was conducted to investigate the effect of breed, sex on fatty acid compostition. Hanwoo and Holstein used, in the study were classified by sex. The results are summarized as follows ; Oleic acid and unsaturated fatty acids(UFA) percentages of total fatty acids in Hanwoo were higher than in Holstein, but palmitic acid and saturated fatty acids(SFA) were lower in Hanwoo. Oleic acid in steers of Hanwoo and Holstein tended to increase compared with bulls. Oleic acid in rib loin and top round were considerably higher in Hanwoo steers than in Holstein steers. In Hanwoosteers, oleic acid and UFA tended to increased while stearic acid and SFA decreased as marbling degree increased.
