In the present study, we examined the change of pain behaviors induced by formalin injected subcutaneously (s.c.) into the hind paw, or substance P (SP) and glutamate injected intrathecally (i.t.) in the mouse immobilization stress model. The mouse was restrained either once for 1 h or five times for 5 days (once/day). In the formalin test, a single immobilization stress attenuated pain behaviors (licking, biting or scratching) in the second phase, while it had no effect on the pain behaviors revealed during the first phase. In addition, repeated immobilization stress attenuated pain behaviors revealed during the second phase but not in the first phase. A single as well as repeated immobilization stress decreased pain behaviors induced by substance P i.t. injection, but there were no significant changes in the glutamate test. These results suggest that a single and repeated immobilization stress differentially affects such nociceptive processing induced by formalin, SP, glutamate and pro-inflammatory cytokines in different manners.

Mullerian duct anomalies are reported in literature, but maldevelopment of fallopian tube in isolation is rare. Accessory fallopian tubes can present as infertility, ectopic pregnancy, in association with urinary tract anomalies. We observed a case of tubal pregnancy where fallopian tube has two fimbriae with normal looking uterine and fallopian tube on the opposite side. we report a case of tubal pregnancy with accessory fallopian tube with literature review.

Parathyroid carcinoma is rare, occurring in less than 2-3% of the patients with primary hyperparathyroidism. In the patients with chronic renal failure, the incidence is extremely low. Only 13 cases of parathyroid carcinoma with chronic renal failure have been described in the world literature. We report a case of parathyroid carcinoma in a 43-year-old man who has been suffered from chronic renal failure for 19 years. To our knowledge, this is the first case of parathyroid carcinoma occurring in the thyroid gland associated with secondary hyperparathyroidism.

Purpose: The patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) is used to quantify the subjective state of patients before and after the treatment. The electronic method was recently developed and used for the completion of PROM, in addition to the conventional paper and pencil method. This study identified whether the results of Foot Function Index (FFI) and Foot and Ankle Outcome Score (FAOS) using the paper and pencil method was different from those using the electronic method. Materials and Methods: Between May 2016 and August 2016, 42 patients who were admitted to the Seoul Foot and Ankle Center two days before surgery were included for evaluation. The mean age was 46 years (range, 21~72 years). There were 29 males and 13 females. To use the electronic method, the PADAS software (PADAS, Seoul, Korea) was implemented using a touch pad. The primary trial of FFI and FAOS was performed using either the paper-and-pencil method or the electronic method. At 24 hours after the primary test, a secondary trial of FFI and FAOS was performed using the other method. Then, we identified the reliability of FFI and FAOS between the two methods by calculating the intraclass coefficient. Results: Twenty-two patients underwent the first trial using the paper-and-pencil method, and 20 patients underwent the first trial using the electronic method. Of the 42 patients, 8 patients were excluded from this study and only 34 patients were included in this study. The reliability of FFI was excellent with an intraclass coefficient of 0.957, and the reliability of FAOS was also excellent with an intraclass coefficient of 0.840. Conclusion: The paper-and-pencil method and the electronic method have the same result for the completion of FFI and FAOS in this study. Therefore, it is commonly considered that the completion of FFI and FAOS using the electronic method can be applied in practice.
온도센서로의 응용을 위한 Zn-Mn-O계 세라믹의 구조적, 전기적 특성

In this study, $Zn_xMn_{3-x}O_4$ (x=0.95~1.20) specimens were prepared by using a conventional mixed oxide method. All specimens were sintered in air at $1,200^{\circ}C$ for 12 h and cooled at a rate of $2^{\circ}C/min$ to $800^{\circ}C$, subsequently quenching to room temperature. We investigated the structural and electrical properties of $Zn_xMn_{3-x}O_4$ specimens with variation of ZnO amount for the application of NTC thermistors. As results of X-ray diffraction patterns, all specimens showed the formation of a complete solid solution with tetragonal spinel phase. And, the second phase was observed by the solubility limit of Zn ions in $x{\geq}1.10$ composition. The average grain size was increased from $2.72{\mu}m$ to $4.18{\mu}m$ with increasing the compositional ratio of Zn ion from x=0.95 to 1.20, respectively. $Zn_{1.10}Mn_{1.90}O_4$ specimen showed the minimum electrical resistance of $57.5k{\Omega}$ at room temperature and activation energy of 0.392 eV.
기업의 머신러닝 선정에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구: 확장된 알고리즘 선택 문제의 관점으로

인공지능의 사회적수용도가 증가하면서 머신러닝 기법을 기업에 적용하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 머신러닝 기법의 선정에는 주로 정확성이나 해석 가능성 등 기술적 요인이 주로 기준이 되어왔다. 그러나 머신러닝 채택의 성공은 개발부서, 사용부서, 리더십과 조직문화 등 경영관리 요인도 영향을 주기도 한다. 아쉽게도 기술적 요인과 경영관리적 요인이 함께 고려된 머신러닝 선정의 성공 요인을 이해하는 통합 연구가 거의 존재하지 않는다. 이에 본 논문의 목적은 기업 내 머신러닝 선정을 이해하기 위해 John Rice의 algorithm selection process model과 task-technology fit, 그리고 IS Success Model 이론을 결합한 기술-경영관리 통합 모형을제안하고 실증적 분석을 하는 것이다. 머신러닝을 도입한 국내 기업 240곳을 대상으로 설문 분석을 실시한 결과 알고리즘 품질과 데이터 품질이 높을수록 문제-알고리즘 적합성에 높게 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 문제-알고리즘 적합성은 조직의 생산성과 혁신성에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 또한 외주화와 경영진 지원이 머신러닝 시스템 품질에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 데이터 중심 경영 및 동기화와 같은 조직문화 요인은 활용성과에 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. As the social acceptance of artificial intelligence increases, the number of cases of applying machine learning methods to companies is also increasing. Technical factors such as accuracy and interpretability have been the main criteria for selecting machine learning methods. However, the success of implementing machine learning also affects management factors such as IT departments, operation departments, leadership, and organizational culture. Unfortunately, there are few integrated studies that understand the success factors of machine learning selection in which technical and management factors are considered together. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to propose and empirically analyze a technology-management integrated model that combines task-tech fit, IS Success Model theory, and John Rice’s algorithm selection process model to understand machine learning selection within the company. As a result of a survey of 240 companies that implemented machine learning, it was found that the higher the algorithm quality and data quality, the higher the algorithm-problem fit was perceived. It was also verified that algorithm-problem fit had a significant impact on the organization’s innovation and productivity. In addition, it was confirmed that outsourcing and management support had a positive impact on the quality of the machine learning system and organizational cultural factors such as data-driven management and motivation. Data-driven management and motivation were highly perceived in companies’ performance.
