The Honeycomb System developed by CERA CHEM CO. LTD is a reinforcement of building structures and can strengthen shear resistance of existing buildings. This system is composed of Honeycomb Shaped Reinforcement Steel(HSRS) which can resist tensile forces and Rust and Earthquake Resisting Mortar(RERM) which can resist compressive forces and restrain the out of plane deflection of HSRS. In this study, To evaluate material characteristics of the Honeycomb System, Three kinds of material tests were conducted. First, To evaluate compressive strength of RERM, RERM and Remitar(Ready Mixed Dry Mortar for masonry) were tested according to KS L 5105. Second, To investigate tensile strength of Honeycomb System versus restraint effects by RERM, three kinds of specimens were made such as HSRS alone, HSRS filled with RERM for inside only and HSRS filled with RERM for both sides. Third, To evaluate bond characteristics between Honeycomb systems and structural materials, shear-bond strength on the surface of the concrete and the cement block was measured. The results of the tests are as follws 1) Compressive strength of RERM was 52㎫, which is 2.2 times stronger than Remitar. 2) Tensile strength of Honeycomb System was 5.45㎫, which is about twice stronger than normal concrete. In particular, tsnsile strength of HSRS filled with RERM for inside only was 6.11 times stronger than that of HSRS alone and tensile strength of HSRS filled with RERM for both sides was 1.76 times stronger than that of HSRS filled with RERM for inside only. 3) Shear-bond strength on the surface between the cement block and the Honeycomb System was 2.44㎫, which is as strong as shear-bond strength on the surface between Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer(CFRP) and concrete. but shear-bond strength on the surface between the normal concrete and the Honeycomb System was 1.79㎫, which is four-third times weaker than that of the cement block.

The purpose of this study is the energy consumption comparison of the PCM type and the engine driven type refrigerator truck. Experimental device was the basis of 2.5 ton grade refrigerator truck, and the conditions were maintaining the temperature of the refrigerator 5℃, freezer -18℃ ambient 35℃. Experiments were performed for each the maintain the indoor temperature test and the regular door open test. We measured the electric power consumption of PCM type, and fuel consumption of the engine driven type for same conditions. As a result of comparison in terms of primary energy, PCM type was calculated as being able to save over 20% primary energy than the engine driven type.

Adenosine deaminase(ADA) activiteis in sera are increased in various disease such as hematologic ma1ignancies, tuberculosis, and liver diseases. To eva1uate the c1inica1 va1ue of measuring ADA and its isoenzyme activites in plasma with the automated assay in acute myeloid leukemia, we compared ADA and its isoenzyme activities in norma1 control group with those in acute myeloid leukemia group, and followed up those during chemotherapy in AML group. The measurements of plasma ADA and its isoenzymes, especia11y ADAl were useful for AML diagnosis. But they were not va1uable markers to discriminate between complete remission and incomplete remission. For the detection of relapse, it could be va1uable to measure ADA activities beyond 4 weeks after chemotherapy.
