The paper describes a robust adaptive control algorithm for induction motor drive without speed sensor at low speed range. The control algorithm use only current sensors in a space vector pulse width modulation within loop control with rotor speed estimation and voltage source inverter. On-line rotor speed estimation is based on utilizing parallel model reference adaptive control system. MRAC of the modified flux model for flux and rotor speed estimator uses dual-adaptation mechanism, ω?? and ω?? scheme. The estimated flux components in the model can be compensated from the effects of offset errors on pure integrals. It can be compensated to the parameter variations and torque fluctuation with speed estimation in less then 10 rad/sec. In a simulation, the proposed induction motor control algorithm without speed sensor at very low speed range are shown to operate very well in spite of variable rotor time constant and fluctuating load without change the controller parameters. The suggested control strategy and estimation method have been validated by simulation study, and it proposed the designed system for the implementation using TI320C31 DSP/ASIC controller.<br/> <br/>

This paper propose a improved speed control system for five-phase squirrel-cage induction motor(IM) considering effects of 3rd. harmonic current components with field oriented control(FOC) A five-phase IM drives present unique characteristics due to the additional degrees of freedom and also drives possess many others advantage compared with the traditional three-phase motor drive system, such as reducing a amplitude of torque pulsation at low frequency and increasing the reliability. In order to maximize the torque per ampere, the proposed motor has concentrated windings. The produced back-electromotive force is almost trapezoidal, and the motor is supplied with the combined sinusoidal plus third harmonic of currents. There is necessary to controlled 3rd harmonic current. For presenting the superior performance of the proposed the speed control system, experimental results are presented using a 32-bit fixed point TMS320F2812 DSP with 1.5[KW] induction motor.

We are suggest a estimation method of the motor parameters that developing five-phase squirrel-cage IM have a stator of concentrated winding for experimental. There are results of stator winding test, no-load test, locked rotor test, and obtained equivalent circuits using manufactured experimental apparatus. For presenting the superior performance of the speed control system in adapted the parameters, experimental results are presented using a 32-bit fixed point TMS320F2812 DSP with 1.5[KW] IM.

This paper presents research result for a development of sapphire silicon ingot glowing(SSIG) of single-phase multi step(SPMS) converter system for 80kW 10kA. The developed system include input LC filter, single phase multi tap(SPMT) SCR phase control converter, high frequency SPMT transformer, cooling system, heating load, DSP and PLC controller. Input voltage put on divided 5 tap of primary winding. Transformer primary voltage is AC 380V, 60Hz, and secondary is a voltage 13V and current 10kA of output in tungsten resistor load 0.1[mΩ]. The suggested researching contents are designed data sheets of SPMT power converter system, PSIM simulation results, operating characteristics and analysis results of developed SPMS converter system for SSIG. The characteristics of obtained the system are power 82.8kW at input and voltage 10.001V, current 8,277A, efficiency 91.89%, power factor 91.9%, voltage THD 1.185% and current THD 4.788% at output on command setting output voltage 10.0V.

근래 신 세계적으로 전기자동차에 대한 광범위한 연구개발의 근본 동기는 연료보존과 환경공해의 영향을 재어하기 위한 것이다. 본 논문은 차세대 복합형 진기자동차에 적용시키기 위하여 현재 이용이 가능한 여러 가지 형태의 에너지 저장장치, 즉 밧데리, 후라이휠 및 울트라 커페시터와 에너지원으로 사용되는 동력장치인 가솔린엔진, 디젤엔진, 가스터빈 및 연료전지의 특성에 대하여 검토한 것이다. 기술적인 추세에 따라 효율적인 적용 가능성을 비교하여 본 결과 가까운 장래에 복합형 전기자동차에 이용 가능한 시스템으로 에너지 저장장치는 밧데리이고 동력원으로는 가솔린 엔진임을 보여 주었다.<br/> Fuel conservation and environmental pollution control arc the principal motivating factors that arc urging at present widespread research and development activities for electric hybrid vehicles throughout the world. The paper describes different possible energy storage devices, such as battery, flywheel and ultra capacitor, and power sources, such as gasoline engine, diesel engine, gas turbine and fuel cell for next generation hybrid electric vehicle. The technology trend and comparison in energy storage and power devices indicate that batter and gasoline engine, respectively will remain the most viable devices for hybrid vehicle at least in the near future.<br/> <br/> <br/>

This paper presents a implementation of digital motion control system for induction motor vector drives using the 16bit DSP TMS320F240. The DSP controller enable enhanced real time algorithm and cost-effective design of intelligent controllers for motors which can be yield enhanced operation, fewer system components, lower system cost, increased efficiency and high performance. The system presented are speed and current sensing, sine look-up table and generated SVPWM by fully integrated control software. The developed system in a implementation are shown a good speed response and motion control characteristic results, and high performance features in general purposed 2.2[kW] machine. The system can be adapted variform motor drive system.<br/>
