This study explored the feasibility of replacing a metal link with a carbon fiber/epoxy composite link and assessed its capacity to withstand a given load condition using failure criteria. The micromechanics of failure (MMF) criterion was employed to predict the failure mode of the composite material, and mechanical tests were conducted to obtain reference strength parameters for MMF. The findings revealed that the stress distribution was concentrated near the hole, and weaknesses were found around the hole and at the end of the link under bending conditions. Based on the failure index, matrix tensile failure was predicted at the end of the link, and fiber compression failure occurred near the hole. The methods and results obtained from this study can provide valuable guidelines for assessing the safety of composite materials under specific load conditions when replacing metal parts with carbon fiber/epoxy composites to achieve weight reduction.
페니토인-${\beta}$-시클로덱스트린 포접 복합체의 좌제에 관한 연구

An inclusion complex of phenytoin (PT) with ${\beta}-cyclodextrin\;({\beta}-CyD)$ in molar ratio of 1 : 1 was prepared, and the interaction between host and guest molecules was confirmed by infrared spectrometry, differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffractometry. Suppositories were prepared by the fusion method. PT and $PT-{\beta}-CyD$ complex were added to PEG 1540 and Witepsol H-15 under the vigorous stirring at $40^{\circ}C$. Content uniformity was tested for different formulations of the PT suppositories. The release rates were dependent on the K.P. V dissolution apparatus and the dialyzing tubing method. Then, the release rates were increased in the following order: $PT-{\beta}-CyD$ complex in PEG 1540>PT in PEG 1540>$PT-{\beta}-CyD$ complex in Witepsol H-15>PT in Witepsol H-15. The area under the curve and maximum blood concentration after rectal administration were increased in the following order: $PT-{\beta}-CyD$ complex in PEG 1540>PT in PEG 1540>$PT-{\beta}-CyD$ complex in Witepsol H-15>PT in Witepsol-15.

현재 대부분의 역에서는 편리한 곳에서 승하차가 집중적으로 이루어지는 현상이 있다. 그로 인해 정차시간이 길어져 사회적 비용손실이 발생되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 승강장구조에 따라 승객이동과 집중이 다르게 나타나고 있다는 것을 보여준다. 또한 구조변경에 의해 승객분산과 표정속도 증가가 가능하다는 것을 설명한다. 본 논문으로 앞으로 건설될 도시철도 및 철도역사에 도움이 되고자 한다. Currently, in the most station of urban railway, the majority of passengers concentrated at more convenient spot for them to transfer causes train stopping-time delays and much social costs This study proves that passengers overcrowding and movements are depending on station`s. structures, and even a simple modification of platform structure would effect the dispersion of passengers and improve the train`s scheduled-speed. Therefore, a newly designed platform . (tentatively named Fan-shaped platform) can expedite passengers movements and also lessen overcrowding of passengers. We believe that this thesis will be helpful in urban railway industry and railway stations to be constructed.
자동차 사고의 한 사회심리학적 분석(I) : 골목길 사고와 추돌사고

서울과 지방 도시에서 1993년에 발생한 자동차 운전사고 240사례의 기록을 토대로 가장 흔히 발생하는 사고 유형을 서울에서 7개, 그리고 지방 도시에서 8개 선정해서 각각의 유형 안에서 사고가 발생하는 원인을 사회심리학적 입장에서 분석했다. 사고의 의미 있는 심리학적 이해와 효과적인 방지책 설립을 위해서는 사고를 사고 빈발 상황 별로 분석할 필요성을 역설하고 실제 사례 분석으로 그것을 보이려 하였다. 이 글에서는 먼저 사고의 상호의존관계적 분석을 시도하고 이어 사고의 인과관계의 분석을 틀을 고찰했다. 이어 서울에서 확인된 사고유형중 (1)골목길 사고와 (2) 정지선에서의 차·차 추돌 사고를 분석했다. 골목길 사고는 주로 어린 피해자의 충동적 횡단이 그리고 추돌 사고에서는 운전자의 운전 경력 부족이 사고의 원인으로 밝혀졌다. A random sample of 240 auto accidents which occurred in 1993 in a Seoul district and a small city outside Seoul have been classified according to the similarity of the situation. A total of 7 categories in Seoul (N = 120) and 8 categories for the small city (N = 120) were identified in terms of high freguency of occurrence. The present paper first argued for the usefulness of combinining an interdependency analysis and a cause-effect analysis of auto accidents. The present report then presented an analysis of two specific categories from Seoul, namely (1) backally car-person accidents and (2) rear-end collision accidents. It was found that in the back-ally accidents young children's impulsive act was a decisive factor while in the rear-end contacts a lack of driving experience on the part of the driver making the hit was.
Deprivation and Social Motives

The present paper attempted to correct the mistaken notion imparted by most psychology textbooks that the concept of deprivation is not applicable to social motives. After arguing that the concept of physiological deficits be kept distinct from the concept of deprivation, the present study focused on the effects of social rather than physiological deprivation. Studies were reviewed for evidence of social deprivation as a condition for elicitation of social motives (attention seeking and affiliation) and also for evidence of social deprivation on the shaping of social motives. The review revealed Walters and Parke's attack on Gewirtz's social-deprivation hypothesis was based on faulty reasoning. It was concluded that at least for some social motives the concept of deprivation is still relevant.
