        The lower leaves shading in upper leaves is unknown to be reduced significantly due to the early differentiation of flower-bud by dark treatment of leaves when growing perilla for harvesting the leaves in the greenhouse during the winter. This study analyzed the effect of dark treatment of leaves on the growth and regulation of flowering, which are closely related with differentiation of flower and amount of leaves. One leaf and 3 leaves per plant were dark treated for 0, 5, 10 days. Plant hight was reduced in 3 leaves treatment, but there was no difference in 1 leaf treatment. Stem diameter was reduced in both 1 leaf and 3 leaves treatments, which was more significant in 3 leaves treatment. Leaf area was reduced when 1 leaf was treated for 10 days, but there was no difference when 1 leaf was treated for 5 days. When 3 leaves were treated, leaf area was no difference between treatments. However, leaf area which 3 leaves were treated was reduced more significantly than that 1 leaf was treated. Seed weight was remarkably decreased when 1 leaf was treated for 10 days, and it was decreased when 3 leaves were treated for more than 5 days.

        저자들은 척수압박으로 하지마비를 보인 환자에서 수술 후에 급성 백혈병에 동반된 과립구성 육종으로 진단된 환자 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Granulocytic sarcoma(GS) is an uncommon tumor composed of immature cells of the granulocytic series. Most case of GS occur in the course of acute leukemia and the blast crisis of chronic leukemia, Rarely, however, it may present before leukemia becomes clinically apparent. It may also occur in patients with myeloproliferative disoders. GS has been reported that it occurs in 3% to 9% of patients with acute myelogenous leukemia(AML) and the incidence of GS is reported to be higher in patients with t(8;21). GS occurs relatively commonly in africa and has been reported to affect 10-25% of black children presenting with AML. This is very rare case of granulocytic sarcoma with AML(FAB M5) presented with spinal cord compression which was supported by decompression laminectomy.

      • Zoogloea ramigera 115의 응집특성과 그것의 생물고분자를 이용한 중금속 제거

        폐수처리장의 활성오니로 부터 분리된 Zoogloea ramigera 115 균주의 생육적정 pH와 vitamin 생육인자를 규명하고, C/N 조성비에 따른 균체응집특성에 대해서 조사하였다. 그로부터 균체응집과 직접적으로 관련된 생물고분자를 생산 분리하여 중금속 양이온 흡착능과 제거효율을 측정하였다. Z. ramigera 115의 최적 생육 pH 범위는 6.25에서 7.00이었고, 생육촉진인자로 vit. B? 또는 biotin을 요구하였다. C/N 조성비가 클수록 균체응집능이 개선되는 경향이었으며, C/N 조성비 27이상에서는 응집능이 비교적 안정되었다. C/N 조성비 90에서의 생물고분자 생산량은 34.43g/ℓ였으며, 이는 개선될 여지가 있다고 생각된다. Z. ramigera 115의 배양액으로부터 분리된 고분자물질의 단위량당 중금속 양이온 흡착능은 Cu?와 Cd?에 대해서 각각1.3350 ?mol/mg과 0.3120 ?mol/mg이었다. 개개의 중금속 양이온 농도가 약 5mg/ℓ인 용액을 연속식 반응조로 처리한 결과, Z. ramigera 115의 생물고분자에 의해서, Cu?, Mn?, Cd?, Cr?순으로 각각 77, 75, 43, 20%의 제거효율을 보였다. 회분식 반응조를 사용했을 때도, 이와 거의 유사한 제거효율을 얻었다. Z. ramigera 115가 생산하는 고분자의 중금속 이온 흡착능과 응집능을 폐수처리나 중금속 이온의 회수에 이용할 수 있는 실질적인 방법이 모색될 수 있을 것이다. Optimum pH and vitamin requirement for the growth of Zoogloea ramigera 115 which was originally isolated from an active sludge in wastewater treatment plant were determined. Effect of C/N ratio on floc formation by the strain 115 was also investigated. Biopolymer known to be directly involved in flocculation was isolated and tested for its sorption capacity of metal cations. The optimum pH for cell growth was between 6.25 and 7.00, and a biotin or a vit. B.? was required as a growth factor. Although the increase in C/N ratio stimulated floc formation, C/N ratios over 27 showed similar degrees of flocculation. The concentration of biopolymer produced by Z ramigera 115 at C/N ratio 90 was 34.43 g/ℓ, which could be improved. The sorption capacity of the biopolymer was 1.3350 ?mol/mg for Cu? and 0.3120 ?mol/mg for Cd?, respectively. When a solution containing about 5 mg/ℓ of each metal cation was treated with the biopolymer in a continuous type reactor, the cations were removed in the order of Cu?>Mn?>Cd?>Cr? with an individual efficiency of 77, 75, 43, and 20%. The batch type reactor also showed similar removal efficiency. The practical approach for the use of biopolymer produced by Z. ramigera 115 needs to be tried in the field of waste-water treatment and heavy metal cation recovery.

        We gained the results like next, according th the analysis and measurement of records on short distance (males 400m, females 200m), in 473 males and 92 females, from 1980 to 1990(for 11 years) (1) We gained the distribution chart like figure 3 and figure 4, and also we gained the average value like figue 5 and figue 7. (2) We gained a new standard value of evaluation short distance like figure 9. (3) As we know in figure 10, In the result of comparison between old and new standard values, we can gain following. a) In the cases of males, the level of new standard is low, it is decrease by average 9 points. b) In the cases of females, on the score of 70∼100, the level of new standard is low and on the score of 60∼65, it shows for the record to decrease. (4) From 1992 season, We decided to apply this new standard value.

      • 비지의 영양학적 품질특성

        This study was carried out to examine the qualities of soybean curd residue for utilizing as foodstuff. The content of moisture, crude protein, crude fat and ash were 80.98, 3.32, 0.94 and 0.82%, respectively. The major fatty acids were linoleic acid, oleic acid, linolenic acid and stearic acid. The hydrolysate of protein of sobean curd residue was composed chiefly of aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glycine, alanine, arginine and threonine, but the major free amino acids of soybean curd residue were arginine(234.1), ethanolamine (91.6), γ -amino-n-butyric acid(60.2), glutamic acid(55.8), valine(49.8), asparagine(47.3) and Iycine(48.3μ mol/100g).       • 소아 Mycoplasma Pneumoniae에 의한 폐렴의 임상적 고찰

        The author determined mycoplasma antibody titer in 127 cases of pneumonia who were admitted to the pediatric ward of Chosun University Hospital from December, 1989, to Novemver, 1990, and clinical investigation and statistical analysis were performed between mycoplasma antibody positive group and negative group. The following results were obtained: 1) In 127 cases of children with pneumonia, incidence of mycoplasma antibody positive cases was 22.8%(29/127). 2) Comparison of mean age between mycoplasma antibody positive group and negative group revealed significantly older in positive group than negative group (5.9±2.8 years, 2.7±3.5 years respectively), 3) The sex ratio was 1:1.23 in mycoplsma antibody positvie group and 1.6:1 in negative group. 4) There was no significant difference in the clinical symptoms and the physical signs betweem both groups. 5) There was no significant difference in total leukocyte count and ESR between both groups. 6) On radiological findings, the bronchopneumonia was significantly related to mycoplasma antibody positive group.

      • 운동강도가 직장온과 체성분의 변화에 관한 연구

        In order to find the effects of exercise intensity on thermophysiological responses and body composition depending on the exercise time and grade of intensity, 7 healthy male students enrolled in the W University who have similar physical constitutions were selected as model group. They underwent the tests to determine the change and difference of physical conditions depending on the exercising intensities divided by 30% VO₂max, ventilation threshold intensity and 75% VO₂max for each span of time divided by 5 min., 10 min., 15 min. and 20 min. during the stable period and by 5 min. and 10 min. during the restoring period, respectively. The outcomes of the tests are summed up as follows; 1. The temperature of the rectum (or the temperature inside the body) remains unchanged or slightly goes down at the beginning of exercise. The exercise group of 75% VO₂max only shows a significant difference (P<.01) depending on the span of time but there are no significant differences depending on the intensity. 2. The exercise group of 75% VO₂max shows the highest rate of sweating(P<.01), followed by the groups of ventilation threshold(P<.01) and 35% VO₂max in order. 3. The body fat decreases after exercise compared to that before exercise in the exercise groups of 30% VO₂max and ventilation threshold but its difference is statistically insignificant. But the decrease by 1.04ℓ before and after exercise in the exercise group of 75% VO₂max should be regarded as statistically significant(P<.05).

      • CdTe 감마선 검출소자의 Schottky Contact에 관한 연구

        To obtain the elementary data about CdTe Schottky diode, we made Schottky Contact by electroless deposition method after growing the CdTe single crystal which has zinc blend structure with CdTe powder (4N). From the result of the experiments on the Schottky diode, we found that the reverse current in N-type Schottky diode is less than that in P-type but barrier height is higher in N-type. And as the deposition time(reaction time) of Schottky Contact becomes longer or the reaction temperature higher, the barrier height and contact resistance are decreased.

      • 오존산화된 이축연신폴리프로필렌의 열자격 전류 특성

        In this paper, Thermally stimulated current(TSC) spectrum was mearsured as a function of formation temperature, formation time, formation voltage and heating rate in a biaxially oriented polypropylene film of thickness 40[μm], which is better than polyethylene in the enduring characteristic against heat and dielectric characteristic, the variation of the TSC was observed by ozone oxidation. This measurment has been carried out in the temperature range from-40[℃] to 140[℃]. As results of the measurment, A,B,C,D peaks was made at 0[℃], 40[℃], 80[℃], 120[℃], respectively. B peak was made at the near second glass transition temperature is estimated the dipole polarization by microbrown motion, C peak is estimated to the polarization of ionic space charge. And, In according to the increase of oxidation time by ozone, B peak increased slowly and C peak increased rapidly after it increased slowly during first oxidation time of 15[Hr]. By initial rising method, activation energies of B,C peaks were calculated to about 0.57, 0.84eV, respectively. The hopping distance and mobility of C peak for pure specimen and ozone oxidated specimen 54A, 71A and 1.099×10??cm²/υ·s, 8. 55×10??cm²/υ·s, respectively.
