가정연계 신체활동이 유아의 기초체력에 미치는 영향

The awareness of the decreasing physical activities of children today introduced the application of Home-Based physical activities as one of the solutions to the problem. This Home-Based physical activity program provided the families with training materials and wall posters for physical activities as well as the eurhythmics videos accessible through provided QR codes in attempt to assist the families to practice the physical activities taken in children educational institutes from homes. 4910 children of both sexes across the nation partook in this research while the researchers were determined to test the change on children’s physical strength before/after the application of the program. In order to track the change, the researchers have adjusted and supplemented the research tools of Na-young An, Eun-jung Kim, Tae-seop Park (2013) to measure the endurance, muscle strength, flexibility, agility, adaptation, and balance of the children. The research revealed that the children that partook in the program for household physical activities showed an overall superiority on all 6 fields - endurance (scissor jump for 30 seconds), muscle strength (grasping power), flexibility (sitting trunk flexion), agility (30meters shuttle run), adaptation (standing high jump), balance (standing on one foot) - compared to the children who haven’t engaged in the program. Also the researchers found that the general physical strength of the children in the program to have increased periodically during the test. Most of all, there was a significant difference on overall body endurance and right-left balance from which the deduction of the relatedness between the two and the household physical activities was made. In conclusion, Home-Based physical activities have shown to have positive influence on the general physical strength of the children.

원위부 신세뇨관성 산증에서 산-염기 운반체의 결손

The purpose of this study was to elucidate whether the molecular defect of acid-base transporters in renal tubules is related to the functional defect of urinary acidification in distal renal tubular acidosis(RTA). We performed NH₄Cl, furosemide, or bicarbonate loading test to evaluate renal acidification function, and immunohistochemistry using antibodies to H^+ -ATPase, Cl^-/HCO₃^- exchanger(band-3 protein), and Na^+/K^+ -ATPase in kidney tissue in 6 patients with RTA and renal cell carcinoma patients as normal controls. Kidney tissue was obtained either by percutaneous needle biopsy(RTA) or nephrectomy(NC). The results were as follows; 1) In all six RTA patients, proton secretory defect of distal acidification was shown by a failure to lower the urine pH after NHC1 loading or furosemide test or abnormally low urine-blood pCO₂ difference during bicarbonate loading. In two patients with RTA, proximal acidification defect was combined, which was demonstrated by increased fractional excretion of bicarbonate. 2) In mal control, intense H^+ -ATPase and band-3 protein staining was observed in collecting ducts. 3) In distal RTA patients, H6+ -ATPase and band-3 protein staining was not demonstrable or markedly decreased in the intercalated cells of distal nephron. 4) In two patients who had both proximal and distal RTA, H^+ -ATPase staining was markedly decreased in the brush border of proximal tubules as well as the distal nephron. In conclusion, the defect of acid-base transporters in renal tubule was related with the functional defect of urinary acidification in distal RTA.

생후 0-15 개월 소아의 볼거리 항체가 측정

To determine the proper age of the Mumps vaccination, we measured the degree of immunity of 55 children with the age from birth to 15 months to mumps antibody titer by indirect immunofluorescent antibody method. 1) 40.0% (22/55) of the children was positive for mumps Ig G antibody and 3.6%(2/5) was positive for mumps Ig M antibody. 2) By age group, 19 of 31 children with the age from birth to 4 months were positive mumps Ig G antibody, but all the children was negative between 4 month and 12 months. And, 3 of 7 children with the age between 13 months and 15 months were negative for mumps Ig G antibody. 3) One child was positive both Ig G and Ig M antibody. In conclusion, passive mumps antibody began to diappear after 4 months of age, and also began to develop inapparent infection of mumps before 15 months of age, therefore, it is considered that the early mumps vaccination will be required before 15 months of age.

골반경수술 146예에 대한 임상적 고찰

Pelviscopic surgery has been reported to have minimal tissue damage and bleeding, and to reduce cost and recovery time for patients undergoing a variety of procedures. The field of gynecologic operations that can be performed by pelviscopic procedures has expanded rapidly. This report is a retrospective review of 146 cases of pelviscopic surgery from January, 1991 to February 1996 to evaluate the efficacy of pelviscopic surgery in gynecologic patients. The results of this review were summarized as follows; 1. The majority of patients was between 21 and 40 years of age(84.2%), mean age was 33.1 years. 2. Preoperative clinical indications were adnexal mass 77 cases(52.7%), ectopic pregnancy 48 cases(33.9%), uterine myoma 9 cases(6.2%), and etc. 3. Types of surgery were salpingectomy 43 cases(29.5%), salpingoophorectomy 41cases(28.1%), LAVH 9 cases(6.2%) and etc. 4. The previous operation history was found in 34 cases(23.3%), and the type of previous operation were Cesarean section 11 cases(32.4%), appendectomy 10 cases(29.4%), and there were 5 cases of previous history of ectopic pregnancy. 5. The mean duration of hospitalization was 5.8 days.

Objectives : This study is to investigate the hypothesis that schizophrenic patients have difficulty in inferring mental state of others. Methods : Twenty schizophrenic patients and twenty normal subjects were administered to the Cartoon Task required inferring the character's intention in a given context. Results : The schizophrenic patients showed a statistically significant impairment in the Cartoon Task. Both groups chose the card depicting a frequent everyday action significantly more rather than the similar card to the last picture in each story for wrong answers. Conclusion : These preliminary results suggest that schizophrenia is associated with a specific deficit of the cognitive ability referred to as social cognition, and this deficit can be detected not only in the acute phase as found in previous research studies, but also in remission. Also when subjects fail to appreciate what is going on in the minds of other people, they seem to rely on a socially familiar experience.

The spiral vibration heat exchange dryer moves, dried continuously and mixes uniformly particles on the spiral heating plate. So this system is adequate to dry the powder-type food materials. The mass and heat balance equation is used to design dry capacity and water content measurement, sieve analysis and vibration moving test are practiced to lay out the spiral plate. spiral vibration dryer(300㎏/hr) is manufactured and tested by Dashida powder of 4.8% water content at 80∼85℃. The frequency of vibration motor is operated 45㎐, 55㎐, 60㎐ and the product mass oer time is measured by digital scale. The water content of product is 0.1∼1.6% and the dry efficiency is 67.4∼78.2%. The spiral vibration heat exchange dryer make 125∼363300㎏/hr of Dashida dehydrated with temperature consistency and without dust in case.

Using acclimated sludge with inorganic nitrogen medium for three months and non-acclimated sludge, raw sludge, under aerobic condition we investigated characteristics biological nitrogen removal. As results, e acclimated sludge under aerobic condition accomplished nitrification efficiently. But the samples from the reactor operated raw sludge had higher ammonium concentration rather than the concentration which was loaded by the medium. This means when we are trying to reorganize existing facilities, we should take high initial ammonium concentration into account.

Mannitol, a hexahydroxy chemically related to mannose, is a non-electrolytic, osmotic agent, It has been known that mannitol may cause serious life-threatening situation if administered in a patient with renal problem. Recently, it has been published that mannitol itself may be nephrotoxic in a patient without preexisting nephrologic disorders. We experienced a case of acute oliguric renal failure caused by long use of mannitol in order to reduce intracranial pressure and cerebral edema after operation of left posterior communicating aneurysm, and reported with recent literature review.
