A study on the relationship between the performance of hand standing and the basic physical fitness for sports . This research program was planned to study the relation - ship between their abilities for “hand_standing" and their physical fitnecs for other activities in general Through the two recording tests, 1 came to the conclusions as follows : 1. The result from the second test is quite similiar with that from the firstone. except in the records of their ability to sit- ups on the ground. 2. The stature and weight don't have any immediate relation with their abilities for pull -ups, vertical-jumps. and sit- ups. However. it is evident that they are quite slightly related with one another. 3. It is admittable that there are something quite related with one another. in their abilities for pull-ups. sit-ups , vertical- jumps. and hand standings on the wall.

전치 태반의 임상적 고찰

This study was undertaken for the clinical evaluation and statistical analysis on the 38 cases of placenta previa who were admitted and treated from March 1, 1988 to Feb. 28, 1991. The results were as follows : 1. The incidence of placenta previa was one per 53 deliveries or 1.90% 2. There were 57.9 % total placenta previa, 21.1 % partial placenta previa, 13.1 % low-lying placenta previa and 7.9% marginal placenta previa. 3. Placenta previa has occured more often in multipara (63.2%) than primigravida 4. More than one-third (38.8%) cases of placenta previa had delayed admission until labor occured for some time following vaginal spotting has first time been noticed. More instructive prenatal education should be emphasized 5. Lower segment transverse section rate was 63.2%, classical cesarean section rate was 15.8% and cesarean hysterectomy was 9.8%. The rest of them were treated by vaginal deliveries of 5 cases(13.2%) 6. The perinatal loss associated with placenta previa was considered still higher : the premature death was 15.8% and term death was 2.6%. The problem of prevention of prematurity still remains to be studied. 7. There was no maternal mortality in our study

성기능장애 환자의 치료시 Cyclic GMP와 Cyclic AMP에 대한 혼합 약제(Bimix 또는 Trimix)의 효과

Recently, nitric oxide was known as a mediator of penile erection in men. After penetrating the cell, nitric oxide activates guanylate cyalase to convert guanosine triphosphate into cyclic guanosine monophosphate, which signals protein kinases, ion channels and possibly other effector systems. Bimix (Papaverine, Phentolamine) and Trimix (Papaverine, Phentolamine, Prostaglandin E1) agents were introduced as a novel treatment option in patients with erectile dysfunction. To evaluate the vasoactive pharmacology, a study was done to examine the change of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (_cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (_cGMP) in erection induced by intracavernosal vasoactive therapy. Twenty-eight patients with erectile dysfunction of various etiologies underwent intracavernous pharmacotesting with Bimix agents or Trimix agents. Author evaluated to erectile response estimated after intracavernosal injection therapy with Bimix or Trimix agents, and measured _cAMP and _cGMP in the brachial venous blood before and after injection therapy and in the intracavernosal blood 30 minutes after injection. No statistically significant differences were noted in regard to results of erectile response among patients treated with Bimix or Trimix agents. Cyclic AMP in the intracavernosal blood (33.38±8.76 pmoL./mL.) after intracavernosal injection therapy was highe than _cAMP in the brachial venous blood (18.41±6.36 pmoL./mL.) in the Bimix agents group and also _cAMP in the intracavernosal blood (37.66±7.48 pmoL./mL.) after intracavernosal injection therapy was highe than _cAMP in the brachial venous blood (20.26±5.62 pmoL./mL.) in the Trimis agents group. Cyclic GMP in the intracavernosal blood was slightly increased than in the brachial venous blood after intracavernosal injection therapy. The result of this exeperiments suggest that intracavernous autoinjection therapy using Bimix or Trimix agents is safe and efficacious in the majority of patients with erectile dysfunction ; however, _cAMP is more important mediator in intracavernosal pharmacotherapy although the normal pathway for penile smooth muscle relaxation and erection has known by _cGMP and _cAMP system.

Five expensive sensors are necessary to control a magnetic bearing system. The sensor price rate of magnetic bearing system is high. So it is necessary that cheap and good sensor is developed. The optical fiber displacement sensor is adaptive to satisfy this condition. We can design magnetically suspended spindle based on static characteristic of optical fiber displacement sensor developed. The controller can be designed by decoupled feedback PD. Therefore, it is simpler than any other controller comparatively.

The aim of this study is to estimate the prevalence of HPV types(16, 18) in cervix of gynecologic patients and to elucidate the relationship of HPV types(16, 18) and clinical characteristics. Human papilloma virus(HPV) has attracted attention as one of the viruses linked to human cancers. Numerous clinical, epidemiological, and molecular studies indicate that certain genital HPV types are associated with cervical carcinoma. Of 100 types of HPV identified today, at least 40 have been found in the anogenital mucosa. A classification of these types into three groups with differing pathogenicity has been proposed: HPV type 6, 11, 42, 43, and 44 are detected more frequently in benign lesions such as condylomata; HPV type 31, 33, 35, 51, 52, and 58 are found more often in low grade squamous intraepithelial lesions than invasive lesions; and HPV 16, 18, 45, and 56 are predominant in high grade squamous intraepithelial lesions and invasive carcinoma. To detect HPV types prevalent in carcinoma of the uterine cervix, a type-specific, sensitive polymerase chain reaction(PCR)-based assay for HPV types 16, 18 was applied to 18 cervical carcinomas(15 squamous cell carcinomas and 3 adenocarcinomas), 21 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN), and 42 samples of cervicitis and histologically normal. DNA extraction from cervical swab was done using DNAzol™(MBI, USA) and Nested PCR was done using HPV detection kit(Bioneer, Korea). The amplified product was analyzed directly on the basis of the site of ethidium bromide-stained band visible after agarose gel electrophoresis. The results were as follows 1. The positivity rates of HPV type 16 and HPV type 18 were 12.5%(90/718), 2,5%(18/718). so, HPV 16 positive cases(12.5%) was five folds as HPV 18 positive cases(2.5%) 2. Forty eight percents(39/81) of HPV 16 or HPV 18 positive cases were CIN, microinvasive cancer. 3. Age, Gestation number, Clinical stage, Histologic cell type in relation to HPV types were not statistically significant.

야뇨증 환아들의 심리사회적 특성에 대한 다기관 연구 : 행동 및 정서 문제를 중심으로

Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

축우 부루셀라병의 ELISA 진단법에 관한 연구

Enzyme-linked Immuno sorbent Assay (ELISA) for the serological diagnosis oi Bruceiia abortus was developed and compared with plate aggluhnation test Cell wall antigen was extracted from Brucella abortus 1119-3 by sonicabon and with a sodium deoxychlate solution Optimum protein concentra tion of coating antigen 0.4㎍/100㎕ protein on each microtiter plate well. Horse radish peroxidase(HRP) labled protein-G was used as a tracer of reacted antibodies ELISA confirmed the agreeable results of 40 rases out of 43 cases by plate aggulutination test ELISA diagnosed positive cases (10 out of 12) and negatiw cases (1 out of 12) with dubious sera by plate agglutination test From this results EL ISA could be used for the early diagnostic tools of Brucellosis in cattle.
