As a famous Scholars of Zhu Xi's theory in the Medieval of Korea, Yi Toegye whose philosophy theory was suitable for Korea took Zhu Xi's Theory as basic, and also epitomized the theories of Scholars in Song Yuan and Ming Dynasties. Besides, there are many perfect educational views. in the system of his philosophy theory. The thought of Yi Toegye about "Respectfulness", let alone in the Korean Peninsula,also had a great impact on the thought of Sakimon school in the Edo Period the Edo.His main writings which are as the carrier of spread such as Personal Reflections, Outline and Explanations of the Works of Zhu Xi,The Ten Diagrams on Sage Learning, Collected Works and so on. Specially, the thought of "Respectfulness" was intensively expressed. in Personal Reflections. "Tranquility Proposition"of the neutralize six book which was given to Zhang Nanxuan by Zhu Xi, and "The doctrine of respect" discoursing the trees of Niu mountain of Mencius in the volume 3 of the Heart of notes written by Cheng Huangdun in the Ming Dynasty. Both of them which are the very core of thought of Yi Toegye about "Respectfulness" are written in the volume 3 of Outline and Explanations of the Works of Zhu Xi. As Mr. Abei Yoshio said, The thought of Yi Toegye about "Respectfulness" is not merely abstractly academicism issues. It also attempt to the highest category of human's moral, in addition to look for the purpose and method of education. This is nothing else than Mr. Okada Takehiko exposited the Cultivating theory of Toegye. Human being are conscious of the abstruse realm from the practice. The way of awareness ties up with application. In this paper, I will go though Personal Reflections, detailedly inspecting Yi Toegye's thought about "Respectfulness" and its relationship to his educational practice.

A bacterial strain, designated Iso4T, was isolated from the East Sea of Korea and was subjected to a polyphasictaxonomy study including phenotypic and chemotaxonomic characteristics as well as 16S rRNAgene sequence analysis. Cells of the strain were Gram-negative, motile, non-budding, non-stalked, andstrictly aerobic. Strain Iso4T grew optimally at 20°C in the presence of 1~2% (w/v) NaCl and at pH 6.9~7.6. The major respiratory quinone was Q-10 and the major cellular fatty acids were C18:1 ω7c (53.5%),C17:1 ω5c (11.7%), C17:1 ω6c (8.1%), C16:0 (7.8%), C17:0 (4.8%), C15:0 (2.9%), and C16:1 ω5c (2.2%). The DNAG+C content of strain Iso4T was 56.2 mol%. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequencesshowed that strain Iso4T formed a monophyletic clade in the family Hyphomonadaceae, supported by highbootstrap value and was most closely related to the genus Hyphomonas (92~94%), a member of marinebacteria in the family. The phenotypic, genotypic, and chemotaxonomic evidences also suggest strain Iso4Trepresents a novel genus and species in the family Hyphomonadaceae, for which the name Henriciella gen. nov., sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is Iso4T (=KCTC 12513T =DSM 19595T =JCM 15116T).

敬思想是在朱子學中議論最多的話題, 在退溪學也不例外. 尤其, 敬思想在政治運作中的作用, 是在傳統儒家思想中的核心問題, 在退溪學中雖然談論政治問題的文字少見, 但他晩年呈上宣祖的以敬爲主的≪聖學十圖≫與政治運作爲話題的≪茂辰六條疏≫兩部著述, 却引起學術界的關注. 雖然時已過數百年, 對體制已變的當今社會來說, 仍然有重要意義.李退溪的一生中多半時間盡力于學問硏究, 雖然在政界有過“七進七退”的經曆,但畢竟“以退爲義理”退出政壇. 然在其≪告君陳誡≫中, 按年代別有關政事記載,而且其內容與≪茂辰六條疏≫的內容與≪太極圖說≫內容息息相關, 更要注意的是, 其中有前兩部著述中尙未披露的有關≪論語≫中的“從周”、“從先進”以及“各因其才”等與政事有關的重要內容. 因此, 他的敬思想與政事的關系可以從此著手, 又從中可以發現≪通書≫與≪禮記≫的≪樂記≫對禮樂的解釋異同. 這一切在過去的硏究中較忽視或沒有提及, 而緊緊地圍繞著前兩部著述來探討, 因此只是在籠統的理論或盤旋于表面現象, 未有步入深遠處去探究, 這明顯與他的敬思想與政事關系硏究帶來困惑. 李退溪在≪茂辰六條疏≫中也提及到, 各種制度必須遵照道德理論來制定, 若從退溪的意指, 必須先解明道德理論敬的特征, 以此爲鑒, 步步推進敬與政事的貫通處, 那마卽本稿要達到的目的.本稿主要分四大部分來進行考察. 其一, 先談論退溪成長、參政的背景, 之後提起問題;其二, 討論敬思想特征;其三, 敬思想在實際政事中援用;最後, 據上述得出結論. The thought of respect is the most argued topic in the school of Zhuxi, and the school of Toegye is on the same.Especially, the thought of respect is applied in the politic operating, which is the key problem in the thoughts of traditional Confucianism. Although the text on the problem of politics isn’t too much in the school of Toegye, in his late years, Ten Diagrams of Sage-Learning which is focused on the respect and presented to the Emperor Seonjo, and Mao Shu-chen Six which is focused on the politic operating, had drawn attentions of scholars. Although hundreds years has passed, it’s still have important meanings in today society which has changed thoroughly. The most time of Lee Toegye had devoted to the study of Confucianism, Although he had the career of “Seven Into Seven Back”, he hold the thought of “Making Retrieve as Principle” and taken back from politics. In the letter Gao Jun Chen Jie, politic affairs had beed recorded by the years, and its contents was tightly connected with Mao Shu-chen Six and Taiji Diagram. And the most should pay attentions is the thoughts of Follow Zhou, Follow the Advanced, and Follow the Special Talents which are in The Analects. infered from here

제31회(第31回) 퇴계학국제학술대회(退溪學國際學術大會) 발표논문(發表論文) : 이퇴계의 「거경궁리」의 양면성

이퇴계는 16세기 조선의 저명한 주자학자로, 朱熹의 철학사상을 계승, 발휘하였다. 또한 그의 철학사상은 에도 시대 야마자키 안사이(山崎闇齋) 및 그 學派의 철학사상 형성에 지대한 영향을 끼쳤으며, 주자학의 동아시아 전개에서도 중요한 역할을 하였다. 특히, 주자학의 골격이라 불리는 ``居敬窮理``는 朱熹가 주돈이의 ``主靜``설과 程門의 ``主敬``설을 겸하여 서술한 것이다. 훗날 주희의 私淑제자라 불리는 진서산이 그 本旨를 깨닫고서 ``靜敬合一``論을 제창하여 『心經贊』을 저술하였다. 이퇴계는 이를 心學의 교과서로 삼고서 매우 높이 평가하였다. 바꿔 말하면, 퇴계는 진서산의 ``정경합일``론에 공명한 바가 있었던 것이다. 하지만 퇴계는 주희가 胡文定과 範蘭溪의 ``百起百滅``, ``心固自若``이라는 설을 인용한 것에 반대하는 태도를 보인다. 즉 敬을 이해하는 데 있어 주희와 다른 견해를 지니고 있었음은 분명하다. 또 ``格物``의 ``格``을 해석하는 데에도 『四書或問』에서 비판한 사마온공의 설에 대해 ``廣義``라는 말로 容認하는 태도를 나타낸다. 말하자면 종래의 이퇴계 ``거경궁리``에 대한 해석은 아직 불충분하며, 다시금 연찬할 필요성이 있음을 시사해주는 바이다. 본 논문에서는 종래의 선행 연구에 기초하여 다시 이퇴계의 저서를 독해하고 敬과 格物에 대한 해석을 상세하게 분석, 탐구한 것을 바탕으로 하여 이퇴계 ``居敬窮理``의 本旨를 밝혀내고자 한다. Yi Toegye, the prominent scholar of the school of Zhu Xi in the 16th century Korea, inherited and developed the thoughts of Zhu Xi`s Philosophy. His thoughts of philosophy had a profound impact on the philosophy thoughts of Yamazaki Ansai and his school in the Edo dynasty, and a very important contribution to the development of the Zhu Xi school in east Asia. "Reserve Reverence and Pursue Principles", the essential element of Zhu Xi`s thought, was proposed by Zhu Xi with the combination of Zhou Dunyi`s thought of "Live in Quiet" and Cheng brothers`s thought of "Live in Reverence". Zhen Dexiu, who studied Zhu Xi`s teachings by himself, had got the true meaning, proposed "Unifying Reverence and Quiet", and wrote the book Praise of the classic of Mind-Heart, which had been appreciated by Yi Toegye as the text of the school of Mind-Heart. It could be said that Yi Toegye also appreciated the Zhen Dexiu`s thought of "Unifying Reverence and Quiet". On the other hand, Yi Toegye opposed Zhu Xi`s incitation of the thoughts "Hundreds Appeared and Hundreds Disappeared" and "Mind-Heart is thoroughly as It is" of Hu Wending and Fan Lanxi, which means that there are also different understandings on Reverence. However, on the understanding of the thought "Investigating Things", Yi Toegye thought that the thought of Sima Guang could be recognized in generalized meaning, which had been criticized by Zhu Xi in Questions of Four Books. This hints us that the old studies about the understanding of "Reserve Reverence and Pursue Principles" of Yi Toegye is not quite right, and it`s necessary to study it furthermore. This paper will deeply study the explanation of Reverence and Investigating Things, based in the earlier researches and reading the text of Yi Toegye, find the meaning of "Reserve Reverence and Pursue Principles" of Yi Toegye.
