Pernicious anemia is the most common cause of vitamin B12 deficiency and is caused by autoimmune destruction of parietal cell containing gastric mucosa region. This disease is significantly associated with autoimmune endocrinopathies and anti-receptor autoimmune disease. We report here a case of 26-year old man who was diagnosed pernicious anemia with high level of autoantibody titer (antithyroglobulin antibody 1:25,600 and antimicromosomal antibody 1:6,400) indicating subclinical Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Since other autoimmune diseases are frequently associated with pernicious anemia even without evidence of clinical symptoms, screening test for the presence of autoimmune disease should be evaluated in these patients.

There are many theoretical indices for chemical carcinogenicity. Among the various indices, the LUMO electron density and approximate superdelocalizability have taken to compared and discussed for the carcinogenicity of PAHs, aromatic amines and Azo-compounds. The sum of LUMO electron density of the trans-butadiene type 1, 2, 4 positions in a molecule has been known to be in more agreement with the observed values than those of approximate superdelocalizability. It is suggested that any trans-butadiene type 1, 2, 4 positions play an importmant role in the elucidation of mechanism of chemical carcinogenesis.
치료 불응성 Still's병에서 자가 조혈모세포 채집시 사용된 G-CSF에 의한 급성 악화 1예

치료 불응성 자가면역질환에서 고용량 항암화학요법 및 자가 조혈모세포이식술이 시행되고 있으나 조혈모세포 가동화 및 이식술 시 사용되는 G-CSF에 의해 오히려 기존의 자가면역질환의 증세가 악화되었다는 보고가 있다. 저자들은 만성적으로 재발되는 Still's병 환자에서 조혈모세포 가동화를 위해 사용한 G-CSF에 의해 자가면역질환이 급성 악화된 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. High-dose immunosuppressive therapy with autologous stem cell transplantation is an increasingly used treatment for severe refractory autoimmune disorder including multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile chronic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus. Although the optimal method of collecting stem cell is not determined, G-CSF-based mobilization is generally considered safe. However, worsening of disease status was reported in autoimmune disease undergoing mobilization with G-CSF. We report a 24-year-old male with refractory Still's disease who developed acute disease flare after administration of G-CSF for stem cell mobilization.
철보충이 납중독된 흰쥐의δ-aminolevulinic Acid Dehydratase 활성과 해독에 미치는 영향

This study was designed to investigate the effects of dietary iron supplementation on δ-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase activity(DALAD) and liver damage of the lead(Pb)-administered rats. The iron(Fe) supplement levels were 100ppm(Fe100) and 500ppm(Fe500) and the Pb-exposed rats were given 2,000ppm-Pb in drinking water, while control rats were given neither iron nor lead. Hematocrit was lower in the Pb, Fe100-Pb, Fe500-Pb group than in the control, but was not affected by the Pb administration when the rats fed the Fe supplementation diet. DALAD activity were reduced by Pb-added but, were higher in the Fe500-Pb group than in the Fe100-Pb group. No significant difference was found in serum Pb content due to Pb administration and Fe supplementation. The liver Pb content was higher in the Fe supplementation group than in the Pb-group. Level of serum Fe was lower in the Pb added groups than in the control group. Liver Fe contents were increased with Pb administration, and higher in the Fe supplement groups than in the Pb-group. Levels of serum and liver copper was decreased with the Fe supplementation. Aminotransferase activity of serum and liver were increased in the Pb group.

Performing financial transactions via electronic information exchanged over telecommunications lines. In such as opened network, there are many kinds of risks associated with sending unprotected financial information across public networks. Electronic payment systems come in many forms including digital checks, credit cards and stored value cards. The important security features for electronic payment systems are confidentiality, authentication, non-repudiation. In this thesis, the payment protocol on credit card system is presented by employing the dual signature which provides the payment information with the bank a cardholder pays to, and ordering information with the merchant a cardholder would like to purchase items from without recognizing the payment information including the card's number. There, the secure payment system applying the dual signature is promoted to usage of electronic commerce on the internet.
이온주입된 Si에서 급속 열처리에 따른 결정성 거동에 관한 연구

We investigated the crystalline behaviour in active ion implanted by Secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) and Raman spectroscopy. The implantation-induced amorphization of damaged layer was clearly observed via the evolution,with increasing fluence of the broad four-band continuum of amorphous Si which extends from zero up to ??. For the samples annealed wsing rapid thermal annealing(RTA) after an isochronical anneal(30 min.) and isothermal anneal(450 ℃) of samples implanted with As to a dose of ??, the simple line spectrum of cystalline Si was recoved. The sharp c-Si Raman peak at ?? decreased and broad a-Si to peak centered ?? predominated as the implantaton does was increased. To describe the amorphous-crystalline transition stucture was used RNM and SCM models. We found that peak center and width dramatically change between ?? and 300℃ suggesting their is a large stuctural change in this temperature range.
