      • Pbo-B₂O₃계 저융점유리에 코디어라트 Filler 첨가에 따른 특성에 관한 연구

        On sealing glass for Joining with the ceramic substrate of which the coefficient of thermal(C.T.E) expansion is ??, the properties of sealing glass due to change the content and particle size of filler were studyed. Mother glass used PbO-B₂= 3 system glass and Ceramic filler used cordierite that have low dielectric constance and C.T.E. of ?? Optimum content of filler cordierite for matching C.T.E. withe ceramic substrate is 15 ∼ 17 wt.% and MOR in maximum at 15 wt.%. Sealing glass which prepared with coarse filler in average particle size have a good flowbility, but have a poor resistance to acid and high dielectric contance. The particle size range of cordierite in optimum properties is 270 - 400 mesh.

        부산시 금정구 지역의 교통사고 잦은 곳을 선정, 운전자측의 원인을 명확히 함과 동시에, 도로구조 등의 발생지점 정보, 기상기후 등의 발생시점 정보 등을 상세히 기록하여, 교통사고 원인에 근간을 둔 교통사고 정보분석 시스템을 개발하고, 교통사고발생요인을 수량화 Ⅰ류로 통계 분석함으로써 금정구지역의 교통사고발생요인으로 좌회전유형, 주행속도, 주차유무, 현시수 등 4가지를 추출하여 교통사고를 미연에 방지하기 위한 의사결정을 지원할 수 있도록 하였다. The purpose of this study is to establish a Traffic Accident Information Analysis System with the human, spot and time elements in Gumjung-Gu that be based on cause of traffic accident. Accordingly, this system is to help out decision making for the countermeasures of traffic accident in black spots using Quantification I method to draw out 4 factors (left turn, average speed, parking, phasing).

      • Actinoplanes ferrugineus 세포추출액에 의한 Methylthioadenosine 대사중간생성물 확인

        To identify intermediate(s) during the conversion of methylthioadenosine to methionine by cell-free extracts of Actinoplanes ferrugineus, a compound was isolated from the anaerobic incubation mixture of cell-free extracts and CH_3-[^14C]-methylthioadenosine, followed by 0.01 N―HCI hydrolysis. The compound was characterized through alkaline phosphatase treatment, NaBH_4 reduction, and NaBH_4 reduction―periodate oxidation reaction. The intermediate seemed to be 1-phospho-5-methylthio-5-deoxyribulose.

      • 중환자 가족의 사회적 지지, 부담감 및 삶의 질과의 관계 연구

        Background and Objectives: The study is aimed at identify social support, burden and quality of life in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Patient's family, to investigate the correlation among social support, burden and quality of life in ICU patient's family. Materials and Method: The data for this study were collected through a research which was conducted to ninety seven in ICU patient's family in C university hospital in Gwangju City, from August 16 to October 23, 2004. The instruments used for this study are the social support measurement tool developed by Brandt & Weinert (1981) and adapted and revised by Ga-SiI Oh & Mi-Hyee Seo, the burden measurement tool developed by Montgomery's and adapted and revised by Sun-Hak, Oh, the quality of life measurement tool developed by Seong-GiI Min in accordance with the guidelines of WHOQOL. The data collected were analysed using SPSS Win to descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe & Tukey post-validation test, and Pearson's correlation. Results: Regarding correlations, while there was a significantly positive correlation between social support and quality of life. There was significantly negative correlation between burden and quality of life. Also, there was significantly negative correlation between social support and quality of life. ConclusIon: There were close correlation among social support, burden, and quality of life in ICU patient's family. Thus, the establishment of nursing interventional program is necessary to promote quality of life in ICU patient's family.

      • 급성 구강감염부위에서 Staphylococcus lugunensis 의 특성

        Staphylococcus lugdunensis (S. lugdunensis) is a newly identified pathogenic species of coagulase negative staphylococci and an occasional but not rare cause of severe infections, such as infective endocarditis after dental extraction, bacteremia, osteomyelitis, peritonitis, and soft tissue infections. As antibiotic use increased, resistance rapidly developed. Some strains have plasmids related to antibiotic resistance. To characterize S. lugdunensis in acute oral infection, S. lugdunensis was isolated from the patients with acute oral abscess, osteomyelitis, and normal persons. Antibiotic resistance, in vitro cellular toxicity, in vivo virulence, δ-like hemolysin activity, and synergistic hemolysis on sheep blood agar plates were investigated. The dot blot analysis and Southern blot analysis of staphylococcal DNA was performed with δ-hemolysin gene probe of Staphylococcus aureus. (S. aureus) Staphylococcal DNA was cloned, nucleotide sequence was analysed, and homology was compared with other sequence in Gene Bank. S. aureus, S. lugdunensis, Staphylococcus cohnii (S. cohnii), and other coagulase negative staphylococci (CNS) were isolated from the patients with acute oral infection. The isolation ratio of S. lugdunensis in the patients with infection was higher than that of healthy persons, but the isolation ratio of S. aureus in the patients with infection was similar to that of healthy persons. S. lugdunensis from the patients with acute oral infection showed the resistance to penicillin, methicillin, cephalothin, and clindamycin. S. lugdunensis in the patients had cellular toxicity in vitro and virulence in vivo. All strains of S. lugdunensis had δ-like hemolysin activity against rabbit erythrocytes. Four of the six strains of S. lugdunensis gave synergistic hemolysis with S. aureus on sheep blood agar plates. In dot blot analysis, all strains of S. lugdunensis showed the positive reaction with the probe of δ-hemolysin gene in S. aureus, but a 7.3 kb HindⅢ fragment was observed in the DNA of S. lugdunensis that gave synergistic hemolysis in a Southern blot analysis. The molecular size of partially purified δ-hemolysin was about 50 kd. The cloned fragments from the chromosomal DNA of S. lugdunensis showed the partial homology with the insulin receptor-related and dopamine receptor of humans. These results suggest that S. lugdunensis might be an important pathogen in acute oral infection and show some homology with eukaryotes.

      • 제주도 문섬 산호서식지 주변의 생물생태학적 특성 Ⅱ. 식물플랑크톤의 군집동태와 1차생산력

        Community dynamics of phytoplankton and primary productivity have been investigated bimonthly from February 1997 to December 1997 in the coastal area around Moonsom of the southern Cheju Island, which is well-known for soft coral habitats in Korea. Average water temperature was 18.5℃ , being stratified from May to September by the seasonal thermocline, while vertically homogeneous in the winter. Euphotic depths ranged from 18.9 m to 45.9 m (average 33.7 m). Chlorophyll α concentrations varied from 0.02 to 0.92 ㎍ · ℓ-1 Standing crops of phytoplankton ranged from 2×103 to 3.9×105 cells · ℓ-1, showing a peak only in the spring. Diatoms occupied 67.5% of the total standing crops, while phytoflagellates, dinoflagellates and others 24.3%, 7.1% and 1%, respectively. However phytoflagellates and dinoflagellates were predominated with 36.6% and 38.7% in June, respectively. There was four dominant species in the study area. Chaetoceros sociales Lauder was dominant species from December to April, Prorocentrum micans Ehrenberg in June. In August, Chaetoceros socialis Lauder dominated in inshore but Paralia sulcata (Ehrenberg) Cleve in offshore. In October, Skeletonema costatum (Greville) Gran dominated the whole area. Daily primary productivity varied from 32.3 to 364.9 mg C · m-2 . day-1 (average 180.7 mgC · m-2 . day-1). Contribution of nanoplankton (<20 ㎛) to daily primary productivity was very high, accounting for 28.0-82.8%. Annual primary productivity is estimated 65.97 gC · m-2 ·yr-1, which is lower than those of the coast of Yellow Sea and the southern waters. Nanoplankton seemed to adopt higher irradiances with Ik values of 190-1,000 □· m-2·s-1 (mean 526.7 □ · m-2·s-1) than total phytoplankton with 140-850 □ ·m-2·s-1 (mean 466.7 □· m-2·s-1).

      • 정어리 어분의 지질함량에 따른 저장안정성

        우리나라에서 80년대 이후 연간 약 13만∼18만톤 어획되는 가장 중요한 수산자원의 하나인 정어리는 그 자체의 여러가지 원인으로 식품가공소재로서의 이용이 제한되고 주로 어분 및 어유의 원료로 이용되고 있다. 그러나 정어리 어분은 지방함량이 높고 또한 함유지질의 구성지방산도 고도불포화지방산의 비율이 높아 산화로 인한 품질의 악변이 정어리어분의 이용에 큰 제약이 되고 있다. 2단 자숙으로 지질함량을 대폭 감소시킨 어분과 기존의 어분과의 저장 중의 품질변화를 실험한 결과를 요약하면 아래와 같다. 1. 2단 자숙으로 지질함량을 1단 가열로 제조한 어분의 지질함량 11.7%에서 2.51%로 감소시켰다. 2. 1단 가열로 제조된 어분의 지질조성은 비극성이 64.2%, 극성이 35.8%인데 비하여 2단 가열로 제조한 경우는 극성이 60.7%, 비극성이 39.2%로 오히려 극성지질의 함량이 높았다. 3. 구성지방산은 ??이 주요 구성지방산들이었으며 1단 가열로 제조된 어분의 경우 ??이 극성지질에서 24.1%, 비극성지질에서 8.7%었으나 2단 가열로 제조된 경우 21.3%와 10.6%로 다소 열에 의해 파괴된 것으로 나타났다. 4. 지질의 산패는 AV, POV, COV가 비슷한 경향을 보이며 2단 가열로 지질의 함량이 줄어든 시료어분에서 온도가 높을수록 보다 급속히 진행되었으며 5℃의 저온에서도 지질의 산패는 억제되지 않았다. TBA값은 지질함량이 많은 1단 자숙으로 제조된 어분에서 10.2가 2단 가열로 지질함량이 낮은 경우의 어분에서의 5.2보다 약 2배 높은 값을 보였으며 이후의 증가는 저장온도가 높을수록 신속히 진행되었으나 2단 자숙으로 제조된 어분에서 5℃와 상온에서 저장하였을 겨우 상당히 안정한 값을 저장 50일 경까지 보였다. 5. 수용성 갈변반응은 2단 자숙한 경우가 흡광도로 0.17로서 1단 자숙한 경우의 0.08보다 높았으나 1단 자숙의 경우 저장 중에 저장온도에 관계없이 모두 일정한 속도로 증가하였으나 2단 자숙하여 제조한 어분에서는 5℃로 저장했을때 상당히 억제되었다. 지용성 갈변은 1단 가열로 제조한 경우가 오히려 높은 값을 보여 2단 가열의 0.42보다 높은 0.94의 약 2배이상의 값을 보였으며 전체적으로 지용성 갈변이 수용성 갈변보다 우세하여 어분의 품질저하에 주도적 역할을 하였다. The effects of lipids elimination through conventional steaming method(one step steaming) or new method(two steps steaming) on the storage stability and quality deterioration of sardine fish meals were investigated by means of lipids oxidation, fatty acids composition and browning during storage at 50℃, 30℃, 5℃ and room temperature. Lipids content, 11.70% in the fish meals made by one step steaming was decreased to 2.51% through one more steps of steaming. In conventional fish meal, nonpolar and polar lipids were composed 64.2%, 35.8% respectively, but the composition was reversed to 39.2% and 60.78% in two step steamed fish meal. Among the principal fatty acids, ?? of the sardine fish meals, ?? was charged 24.1% in polar and 8.7% in non-polar lipid of one step steamed fish meal, and the values were decreased to 21.3%, 10.6% in two step steamed meal respectively. The lipid oxidation in two step steamed fish meal was enhanced more intensely than in one step steamed fish meal according to results of POV, COV and AV tests during storage. But according to TBA test, the quality and oxidative stability has steaded better effectively in two step steamed fish meal than in one step steamed fish meal. Hydrophilic browning reaction was predominant in two step steamed meal, but lipophilic browning become predominant in one step steamed fish meal. For all that lipophilic browning gained predominating influence with 3∼10 times over hydrophilic browning in sardine fish meal.
