        The Effect of Lumbar Muscle Strengthening Exercise Types on Balance and Walking Ability of Elderly

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of stabilization, resistance exercise, and combined exercise for lumbar on balance and walking ability of elderly. This study selected 22 subjects of over 65 years old elderly women who satisfy the study condition from A, B and C Senior Citizen's Center, in Daegu. The subjects were divided into groups; 7 for resistance exercise group, 8 for stabilization exercise group, and 7 for combined exercise group(resistance and stabilization exercise). The exercises were conducted for 60min a day, three times a week for 12 weeks. Balance and walking ability were checked before the exercise, 6 weeks later, and 12 weeks later. First, all lumbar muscle strengthening exercises were effective for static balance which changed according to exercising period. In dynamic balance, the resistance exercise group showed significant improvement in sit to stand. Stabilization exercise group showed significant improvement in all factors. The combined exercise group showed significant improvement in sit to stand and timed up and go. There was no difference between the exercise types. Second, the resistance exercise group showed significant change in Cadence which changed according to exercising period. The combined exercise group showed significant improvement in all factors. Between the exercise types, combined exercise was a bit more effective than resistance exercise. According to the result of 12 weeks of lumbar muscle exercise, combined exercise is considered to be the most effective exercise to prevent fall as it helps balance and walking ability slightly more than other exercises. Therefore, this study can understand the risk factors for fall accidents that frequently occur among elderly and adopt the combined exercise to prevent fall which in turn will prevent secondary problems occur from fall accidents and improve quality of life of elderly.

        Impacts of Korean Somatotype in Energy Consumption and Hormone Changes During Treadmill Gait -Around University Students-

        Purpose: This study is executed to examine the effects of Korean somatotype on energy consumption and hormone changes during treadmill gait. Methods: The objects of study were a total of 70 university students in their 20s and 30s divided into 7 groups according to somatotype with 10 members each, 4 groups of male (M1, M2, M3, M4) and 3 groups of female (F1, F2, F3). Results: In case of male groups, there was a significant difference in VO2 and VCO2 between group M1, M2 and M3 (p<0.05). There was also a meaningful difference between Phase1 and Phase2, Phase3 and Phase4 in a phase (p<0.01). In case of female groups, there was a meaningful difference in VO2 between F1 and F2, F3 (p<0.01). There was also a significant difference between Phase1 and Phase2, Phase3 and Phase4 in a phase (p<0.01). There was no significant difference in VCO2 among them, but there was a significant difference in it between Phase1 and Phase2, Phase3 and Phase4 (p<0.01). There was equally no significant difference in the concentration of adrenaline and nor-adrenaline among both male and female groups, but such concentration showed meaningful difference before and after exercise (p<0.01). Conclusion: Energy consumption differs according to somatotype. There is a difference in hormone change, indicating that somatotype has effects on the physiological change. Therefore, in future exercise should be executed in more diverse conditions to further study somatotype with energy consumption and the correlations of hormone change.

        복합 실내 환경 요소가 재실자의 스트레스 반응과 불안에 미치는 영향

        This study examines effects of each indoor environment element and its interaction on occupants' stress and anxiety. The experiment on the study was conducted at the chamber. Thermal, air, and acoustic environments, selected as environmental components for the combined environment, were controlled by each factor's level and composed of the combined environment. Total 12 combined environments could be established according to three main facts and the levels caused by their differentiated conditions. 12 Subjects were exposed to those 12 different combined environments to experience during the experiment. Each subject was requested to take total 12 times of state-anxiety sheets and stress examination sheet. On the basis of the study results, the following conclusions made. Overall, sound sources as acoustic environment significantly affected occupants' stress and state-anxiety. Therefore, considering the fact that the occupants' stress and state-anxiety in city environment can be maximized when they hear road traffic noises, it will be necessary to control indoor temperature and air quality in order to reduce their stress and state-anxiety.

        모바일 어플리케이션 개발자들은 센서를 활용하여 사용자를 위한 맞춤화 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 센서를 활용한 어플리케이션은 다른 소프트웨어와 마찬가지로 더욱 높은 품질을 위해 테스트를 필요로 한다. 그러나 기존의 모바일 어플리케이션을 위한 테스트 도구들은 센서에 대한 접근성, 센서 데이터 입력, 전력 소모에 대한 비고려 등의 문제를 갖고 있어, 동적 테스트를 수행하는데 사용하기에는 한계를 지니고 있다. 물론, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 여러 연구들이 진행되어 왔지만 기존의 연구들은 일부의 특성만을 반영한 테스트 도구를 개발하였거나, 기법만 개발하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 특성들을 통합적으로 반영한 동적 테스트 도구를 개발하기 위해 센서를 활용한 어플리케이션의 특성을 도출하고, 이를 이용하여 기존의 동적 테스트 도구들의 한계점을 분석하였다. 그 후, 이를 기반으로 하여 동적 테스트 도구의 요구사항을 도출하였다. 그 결과, 총 3개의 특성과 5개의 한계점 그리고 6개의 요구사항을 도출하였다. 향후 본 논문은 센서를 활용한 어플리케이션을 위한 동적 테스트 도구의 개발에 기초가 될 것이다.

      • 지상 통제 소프트웨어의 효율적인 개발을 위한 UCS architecture 분석

        현재 무인 항공 시스템은 다양한 국가와 기업에서 개발되고 있다. 보다 효율적인 시스템 활용을 위해 이들이 개발한 시스템의 연동과 통합의 필요성이 증가하는 추세다. 그러나 현재 우리나라에서 개발되고 있는 무인 항공 시스템의 폐쇄형 시스템이다. 시스템 별로 유사한 비즈니스 목표를 가지고 있지만 프로그램 간 코드 및 구성 요소 재사용이 어려워 유사한 기술이 반복적으로 개발되는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 추후 개발할 무인 항공 시스템의 지상 통제 소프트웨어에 UCS Architecture 를 적용하려고 한다. 본 논문에서는 UCS Architecture 를 적용한 지상 통제 소프트웨어의 개발을 위해 Architecture 의 Architecture Description(AS6512)을 분석하였다. 추후 본 연구에 이어 각 도메인에 대한 Architecture Model 을 분석하고, 도메인에 적합한 소프트웨어를 설계하려고 한다.

        Kikuchi disease (KD) is characterized by fever and lymphadenitis. Its pathogenesis is unclear, but two hypotheses have been reported: one, that it is caused by a viral infection, and the other, that it is an autoimmune origin. Patients with different types of autoimmune diseases have been reported to have had KD. A 32-year-old man presented painful cervical lymphadenopathy. The pathological examination from the LN excision showed necrotizing lymphadenitis. The patient was found to have had an anti-TPO antibody, and KD with concurrent autoimmune thyroiditis was confirmed. The thyroid sonogram revealed a thyroid nodule. The calcitonin level increased to 16.3 pg/ml, but histology was further required to come up with a treatment plan. Two-time aspiration cytology revealed severe atypia, which was needed for diagnostic confirmation of poorly differentiated carcinoma. After the surgery, the patient was confirmed with MTC. Based on the negative result of the RET mutation, sporadic type MTC was confirmed. The association of KD with SLE has often been reported. However, the association of KD with autoimmune thyroid diseases has seldom been reported. Based on the association of KD with autoimmune diseases, the pathogenesis of KD is also considered associated with autoimmune etiology. MTC is usually diagnosed based on the results of fine needle aspiration, but it is sometimes dif. cult to diagnose due to the extremely diverse microscopic findings. The level of calcitonin is important in diagnosing MTC. However, problems concerning false positive results, and low prevalence of MTC limit this approach. When the baseline serum calcitonin concentration level is 100 pg/ml or higher, MTC is strongly suspected. However, when the calcitonin concentration level is lower than 100 pg/ml and autoimmune thyroiditis are also found, additional tests may be required.
