        The wastewater from textile industry typically containing high alkalify, salts, organic matter, and high color. Textile wastewater is usually treated by anaerobic-aerobic activated-sludge process. The activated-sludge process is effective the reduction of organic matter, but generally does not remove color. Ozone process is one of the most effective process in removal of color for the textile wastewater. Ozone has a strong oxidized dissolution of organism, deceleration, deodorization, fumigation, etc., regarding to water. This study focused on the color removal of textile wastewater. In this study, textile wastewater was treated strongly with ozone at 650mg/hr and the flow rate through ozone contact tank was adjusted to 5L/min. In an application Ozone treatment, Color was generally decreased with time, however, COD removal effect was not that good. In this study, the removal efficiencies of CODcr and Color were 23.5%, 80.4% respectively.

      • 조향운동에 대한 자동차 현가기구(RSCS-SSP 운동발생기구)의 치수합성 : the RSCS-DDP Motion Generater

        This paper presents the dimensional synthesis of the RSCS-SSP motion generating spatial mechanism using the displacement matrix method. This type of mechanisms is used the McPherson suspension for the steering motion in automobiles. First, the suspension is modeled as a multiloop spatial rigid body guidance mechanism : an RSCS-SSP mechanism. Then the design equations for SSP, RS, and SC strut links are applied to synthesize an RSCS-SSP for up to three prescribed positions for the steering motion from the suspension design specification. Thus a RSCS-SSP mechanism which is synthesized is also analyzed for the displacement during the steering motion

      • 급속여과법의 여층구성과 유기오염물 제거특성

        The purpose of this study was to present optimum filter configuration and removal charecteristics of TOC, THMFP and UV-254 in conventional water treatment processes furthermore the removal efficiency of algae to compare with turbidity treatment. The results of this investigation were as follow. 1. The headloss of 0.6㎜ filter media increased drastically to 180㎝ within 8hours, on the other hand the filtration time of dual layer filter was two or three times longer than that of singer layer filter. 2. Sedimentation process was effective for removing turbidity materials and organic pollutants in conventional treatment system, however the removal of those organic pollutants did not distinctively removed in filter process. 3. Algaes was removed 90~96% by settlement process and 91~98% by filter process which used the water treated by Settlement process. Scenedesmus, Cyclotella, Merosira and Fragilaria are main appearing algaes in downstream of Nak-Dong River during this experiment period. 4. It is difficult to treat soluble materials in conventional water treatment system, accordingly davanced water treatment systems are required to treat these soluble materials.

      • 한국인의 각막에 관한 연구

        As the results of measurement of the radius of corneal curvature by keratometry for the right eye of 100 subjects, the steep meridian radius is 7.21㎜ to 8.27㎜ and flat meridian is 7.45㎜ to 8.65㎜, for the left eye the steep meridian radius is 7.30㎜ to 8.35㎜, and flat meridian is 7.45㎜ to 8.72㎜. The mean value of radius of corneal curvature is 7.8㎜ for night eye, 7.8㎜ for left eye. The results of measurement of P-value by topography, it is ranged from 0.45 to 0.91 for the night eye, 0.55 to 0.90 for the left eye, mean value is 0.756 for right eye, 0.735 for left eye respectively. That means the corneal shape is ellipses. The corneal thickness is measured 0.69㎜ 10°degree to the nasal, 0.76㎜ 20°degree to the nasal, 0.66㎜ 10°degree to the temporal, 0.72㎜ 20° degree to the temporal from the visual axis and 0.60㎜ at the central position. The horizontal size of corneal is 11.34㎜ for the night eye, 11.373㎜ for left eye. Those data can be used for contact lens design and fitting.

      • 除草劑運用이 水稻및 數種雜草의 生育에 미치는 影響

        本 硏究에서 除草劑를 連用하였을 境遇 그에 따른 手稻 및 雜草에 미치는 影響을 究明하기 爲하여 1974年 第1次 實施하였든 結果는 다음과 같다. ① 藥害 : G-315는 初期에 雜草下部에 나타나나 곧 回復되며 其他 藥害는 없었다. ② 生育 : 分葉最盛期에 調査한 藥劑 處理區가 慣行 除草區에 比하여 草長 및 分葉數는 떨어지지 않으며 오히려 Saturn-S區는 草長이 4㎝나 큰 傾向이었다. ③ 雜草群 : 試驗圃場의 雜草分布는 禾目科의 피(Echinochloa Hispidula MAKAL.) 쇠털풀(Festuca Rubra LINNE, Var Genuina HACK.) 올방개(Eleccharis Kuroguwai OHWI.) 가래(Potamogeton Francheti; BENN, etBAAG.) 물달개비(Morochoria Vaginalis Presl.Var.Plantaginea SOLMS-LAUB.) 마디꽃(Rotala Uliginosa MIQ.) 사마귀풀(Aneilema Japonicum KUNTH.) 올미(Pygmaea MIQ.)등 다양한 分布를 보였다. ④ 殺草效果 : 宿根性의 올방개(Eleccharis Kuroguwai OHWI.)는 各藥劑 모두 殺草치 못하였다. 쇠털풀(Festuca Rubra LINNE, Var Genuina HACK.)에 對하여는 G-315, Saturn-S, X-52등이 效果가 있었고 피(Echinochloa Hispidula MAKAL.)에 對하여는 Machete, Pamucoa and TOK 등이 물달개비(Morochoria Vaginalis Presl.Var.Plantaginea SOLMS-LAUB.) 에 對하여는 Saturn-S가 殺草效果가 있었다. 慣行區(生草重105.7g/1㎡)에 比하여 殘草率이 Saturn-S of 16.2%로 가장 效果가 좋았고, Pamucon of 31.5 %, G-315 45% 順序로서 各 藥劑 모두 良好한 除草效果를 보였다. ⑤ 收量 : 慣行區(正租 537.5Kg/10a)에 比하여 2.4-D 및 Pamucon 處理區가 若干 떨어지며 他 藥劑는 비슷하거나 3.5∼9%의 增收를 보였다. ⑥ 土壤分析 : pH, ??등을 調査한 結果 試驗前 結果가 別 差異가 없었고 處理藥劑間에도 別 差異가 없었으므로 繼續檢討하고져 한다. This paper is an attempts to discuss how the continuous use of herbicide influences on raising of rice and weeds. It also says the results of the first experiment of herbicide in 1974. 1) Harmness of drugs; G-315 section is ppeared on the lower part of leaf tobacco in early stages, but it is promptly restored ot the former condition. There is no harmness in it. 2) As the hadling plot of drugs to investigate at its densest period of the number of storing is compared with the weeding plot, of convention, the former has the same number ae the length of weed which the latter has. Ad in paridular the Staturn-S section has more longer lengh of 4centimeter rather (ther) than the weeding plot of convention. 3) Groups of weeds; the distribution of seeds at an experimental plot is as follows: Echinochloa Hispidula MAKAL, which belongs to family of rice-plant; Festuca Rubra LINNE, Var Genuina HACK. Eleccharis Kuroguwai OHWI; Potamogeton Francheti; BENN, etBAAG; Morochoria Vaginalis Presl.Var.Plantaginea Solms-LAUB; Rotala Uliginosa MIQ; Aneilema Japonicum KUNTH; and Sagittaris Pygmaea MIQ. 4) Effect of slay weeds: all drugs are not seful for slaying Eleccharis Kuroguwai OHW. G-315, Saturn-S, add x-52 become effective to Festuca Rubra LINNE, Var Genuia HACK. Machete, Pamucoa and TOK are effective to Echina-chlor Hispidul NAKAL, and Saturn-S effective to Monochoria Baginalis Presl. Var Plantaginea SOLMS-LAUB. As the handling plot of drugs is compared with the plot of convention(in weight of weed, 105.7%/m2), each drug has good effect of weeding in following order; Saturn-S of 16.2 percent, Pamucon of 31.5 percent, and G-315 of 45 percent. 5) Quantity; as the handling of drugs is compared with that of convention(in receplants of 37.5 Kg/10a), the former has more worse handings, in 2.4-D and Pamucon, than the latter, but other drus have a likness to quantityor an increased yield of 3.5 to 9 percent. 6) Analysis of soli: there is no diference in an investigation of PH and P205 before or after an experiment. similarly there is no difference in a handling period of drugs. I will continue to make an experiment on an analysis of soil.

      • 해양으로 유입되는 도심 하천의 비점오염물질 특성에 관한 연구

        It is now recognized that controlling the pollution entering the rivers and coasts from non-point sources, including agricultural and urban runoffs, is of great urgency. In this paper, Quantity and quality of basins streaming down ocean were surveyed and concentration of biological oxygen demand(BOD), Chemical oxygen demand(COD), Suspended solids(SS), heavy metal, etc. were measured. The results showed that: 1. On dry weather, a quantity of Gamjeon basin is 0.18CMS in the summer but 0.11CMS in the winter. 2. Gamjeon basin's quality was represented that BOD, COD, T-N and T-P was 115mg/L(max), 163mg.L(max), 12.9~27.0mg/L, and 0.40~1.43mg/L. on the other hand the heavy metal was appeared serious pollution. Hakjang was represented that BOD and COD was 15.7~43.0mg/L, 12.0~52.9mg/L respectively. 3. During the wet weather, quantities of Gamjeon and Hakjang were peaked in one hour and pollutant loading was similar. Peak quantity of Gamjeon and Hakjang basin was 18CMS and 25.25CMS. 4. Gamjeon basin's quality was represented that maximum BOD concentration was 250mg/L and DO concentration of Hakjang basin was 0.64~13.2mg/L. Heavy metal concentrations of Eomgung area was over the guide line;Cd and Cr^(+6) were estimated to be 0.1mg/L and 0.197mg/L. 5. It is clear that runoff load by urban non-point source pollutants plays important role in the control and management of non-point sources for the watershed.

Growth types of campuses were studied and analysed by theoretical and empirical research on six sample universities. Finally, some planning guides for organic growth and spatial composition of campus facilities were proposed for the design of campus masterplan.

        Bangyakhabpyun(方藥合編) is a acient prescrition book written by Whang, Pil-Soo in 1884. There was three groups in Bangyakhabpyun(方藥合編)-Sangtong(上統), Joongtong(中統), Hatong(下統)- and written by 467 prescription. In order to study herbalogy or supply the drugs in clinical field, classify drug frequency of its prescriptions. The most frequency of drug were RADIX GLYCYRRRHIZAE(甘草), RADIX ANGELICAE GIGANTIS(當歸), PERICARPIUM CITRI NOBILIS(陳皮), RADIX GINSENG(人蔘), RHIZOMA ATRACTYLODIS MACROCEPHALAE(白朮)…….
