        한국 정신장애의 역학 조사 연구[I] : 각 정신장애의 유병률

        Objectives : This study aims to estimate the prevalence of the DSM-IV psychiatric disorders in Korean population using the Korean version of Composite International Diagnostic Interview (K-CIDI). Methods : Subjects were selected by taking multi-stage, cluster samples of 7,867 adult household residents, 18 to 64 years of age, in ten catchment areas. Total 78 trained interviewers administered the K-CIDI to the selected respondents, from June 1 to November30,2001. Results : Total 6,275 respondents completed the interview. Some 33.5% of respondents reported at least one lifetime disorder, 20.6% reported at least one-year disorder, and 16.7% reported at least one-month disorder. The most common lifetime disorders were alcohol abuse/dependence (17.24%), nicotine dependence/withdrawal (11.19%), specific phobia (5.16%), and major de-pressive disorder (4.25%). The lifetime prevalence of substance abuse/dependence (0.25%) and schizophrenia (0.16%) was very low. Nicotine and alcohol use disorder showed very high male/female ratio. Mood disorder and anxiety disorder were more prevalent among female than male. Conclusion : The prevalence of psychiatric disorders was high. In comparison with other studies, remarkable differences in distributions of psychiatric disorders across the areas and times were observed.

        착화제와 유기산이 Wistar rat체내의 Sr 분포에 미치는 영향

        Wistar rat에 85SrCl2를 꼬리 정맥에 주사하여 체내 기관과 혈액 내 분포, 잔존율을 조사하였고 착화제와 유기산을 투여하여 혈장 단백질에 결합하는 Sr양의 변화를 측정하였다. 혈액내에서 Sr은 혈장에 60%, 세포에 40%부착되어 이동하였다. 혈장에 존재하는 Sr중 약 50%정도는 혈장 단백질과 결합한 상태였고, 세표에는 세포 표면에 가볍게 부착되어 있었다. Erythrocyte나 granulocyte보다 lymphocyte에 많은 양의 Sr이 부착되어 있었다. 투여후 초기 1시간 이내에 혈액 내에서 급격히 감소하여 뼈에 침착되었다. 이때 각 기관에서도 Sr의 잔존율은 24시간 이내에 크게 감소하였고, 뼈로 침착된 Sr은 24시간 이후에 서서히 감소하였다. 착화제 EDTA, EGTA 및 DTPA를 투여한 경우, 혈장 단백질에 결합하는 Sr의 양은 대조군의 57%에서 27-33%로 감소하였으며 citrate 및 oxalate의 투여시는 이값이 19%와 40%로 각각 감소하였다. 85SrCl2 was injected to the tail vein of Wistar rats and investigated its distribution and clearance in the tissues and blood. We also measured the changes in Sr binding to the blood plasma protein by administrating chelating agents and organic acids. For the blood, 60% of the Sr occurred in the plasma and 40% on the cell membrane. Fifty percent of Sr in the blood plasma was bound to plasma protein. Sr on the cell membrane seemed to be bound loosely. The binding in the lymphocyte was higher than in the erythrocyte and granulocyte. Within one hour Sr was quickly disappeared from the blood stream, to be accumulated in the bone. Twenty four hours after the injection, Sr decreased rapidly in the organs of soft tissue, but slowly in the bone. The binding of Sr to plasma protien decreased from 57% of the control to 27-33% in the group treated with chelating agents. EDTA. EGTA and DTPA and to 19% and 40% in the groups treated with organic acids, citrate and oxalate, respectively.

        We demonstrate a amplified wavelength-swept-source for the frequency domain optical coherence tomography. The laser output performance is improved by using a semiconductor optical amplifier with a booster amplifier which has a 1275nm of center wavelength, The laser generates 14 mW of average power and the wavelength tuning range of the laser is more than FWHM(full width half maximum) of 98 nm centered at the wavelength of 1320 nm.

      • 우리 전통의약학 자료의 보호 방안 : WIPO의 전통지식에 관한 지적재산권 보호 논의의 대응 방안 모색 Finding ways against discussions of intellectual property protection on traditional knowledge by WIPO

        WIPO international government committee will finish to develop toolkit for making documentation on discussions of intellectual property protection with TK, GR until the late 2003. As they construct DB of TK, GR, it becomes in a hurry to construct DB of TK information in Korea. We looked into application of copyright in force and a lot of problems in terms of analyzing medical books in the resent condition or protecting them in Korea. There are 29 kinds which have been lost, 12 kinds which could have read in parts, 136 kinds which have been existed of Korean medical books before 1900. There are also a lot of medical books which have been published after 1900 and still are unpublished. It would be 406 medical books from China totally, 111 kinds from Chosun Dynasty version, 134 kinds from Euybangeuchui, 225 kinds from Hyangyackjibsungbang, 78 kinds from Dongeuybogam. We consider to know whether Korean medical books could been applied to the copyright in force or not in accordance with discussions of WIPO on the period, subject(author), contents of protection. If it is applied to the copyright in force, it will be decided to revise according to discussions of WIPO. On the other hand, the problem which is occurred to protect Korean medical books is friction with China as importing their medical books, to find our medical books actively which has been unpublished. Finally, We have to revise administration and intellectual property standards or protect our medical books by making new administration laws.

        We suggest the optimal conditions for fabricating solid state dye and analysed its lasing characteristics. It is measured and analysed the output characteristics of solid state dye laser in various conditions such as pumping repeatition rate, input energy, molar concentration, and the length of dyecell, etc. The conversion efficiency of 40 % was obtained in this lasing material.

        심미 브라켓의 종류와 브라켓-호선 각도에 따른 마찰 저항에 대한 연구

        본 실험은 마찰력을 줄이고 물리적 성질을 개선하여 최근에 개발된 수 종의 심미 브라켓들과 교정 탄선간에 발생하는 마찰력의 크기를 측정, 비교해 보고자 하였다. 일반 슬롯의 세라믹 브라켓인 Inspire, Signature III와 Cristaline V, 스테인레스 스틸 (SS) 슬롯을 가진 세라믹 브라켓인 Clarity, 골드 슬롯을 가진 Luxi II, Polyoxymethylene 계열의 플라스틱 브라켓인 Brillant, SS 슬롯을 가진 컴파짓 브라켓인 Spirit MB, 금속 브라켓인 Integra를 사용하여 018″ 원형의 교정 탄선에 0˚, 4˚, 8˚의 tip angulation을 부여하고 elastic module로 결찰한 뒤 인공 타액 상태에서 활주이동할 때의 운동 마찰력을 측정하였다. 연구 결과 슬롯에 silica 처리된 세라믹 브라켓 (CR)이 유의하게 낮은 마찰력을 보였고 (P < 0.05), 단결정 세라믹 브라켓이 (IN) 유의하게 큰 마찰력을 보였다 (P < 0.05). 플라스틱 브라켓인 polyoxymethylene계열의 BR이 낮은 마찰력 양상을 보였고 이는 금속 브라켓과 유사하였다. 모든 브라켓에서 브라켓-탄선 각도가 증가함에 따라 유의하게 마찰력이 증가하였으나 주사전자현미경상에서 탄선이나 브라켓에 손상은 발견되지 않았다. 마찰력의 양상이 브라켓의 재질로 추측할 수 있는 것과는 다르게 나타난 결과로 보건대 심미 브라켓이 스테인레스 스틸 브라켓에 비해 마찰력 면에서는 오히려 우수하거나 큰 차이가 없으므로 임상적으로는 마찰력은 크게 고려하지 않아도 되겠다. Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate how the friction that occurs during the sliding movement of the archwire through esthetic brackets is differently affected by bracket materials, slot designs, and tip angulations of the archwire. Methods: Eight types of brackets with 0.018 inch slots (composite: Brillant (BR); composite with metal slot: Spirit MB (SP); ceramic: Inspire (IN), Signature (SI), Cristaline V (CR); ceramic with metal slot: Clarity (CL), Luxi II (LU); and metal bracket: Integra (IT)), and placed into groups of 20 brackets in each group, were tested in artificial saliva with 0.018 inch stainless steel wire. The wire tip angulations were given as 0, 4 and 8 degrees. Results: CR group significantly showed the lowest frictional force with all wire tip angulations of 0, 4, and 8 degrees. IN significantly showed the highest frictional force (P < 0.001). BR (Polyoxymethylene) had significantly less frictional force than SP (Polycarbonate) (P < 0.001) and showed no significant difference between metal brackets. Friction was increased as the wire tip angulations were increased, but no notches were observed on any parts of the archwire. Conclusions : According to the results of this study, esthetic brackets are superior or similar to SS brackets from a frictional point of view.

      • 파장가변 모드잠김 고리형 레이저의 제작 및 특성

        We demonstrate a wavelength swept mode-locked ring laser for the frequency domain optical coherence tomography. A laser is constructed by using a semiconductor optical amplifier, fiber Fabry-Perot tunable filter and 2.6 km fiber ring cavity. Mode-locking is implemented by 2.6 km fiber ring cavity for matching the fundamental or harmonic of cavity roundtrip time to a sweep period. The wavelength sweeps are repeatatively generated with the repetition period of 77.2 kHz which is the parallel resonance frequency of Fabry-Perot tunable filter. The wavelength tuning range of the laser is more than FWHM of 61 nm centered at the wavelength of 1320 nm and the linewidth of the source is 0.014±0.002 nn.

      • Photobacterium phosphoreum을 고정화하기 위한 최적 Carboxymethylcellulose(CMC) 담체의 농도결정

        CMC 담체는 점도가 큰 물질로 luminometer tube내의 사료에 유동을 최소화함으로써 산소의 공급을 일정하게 하여 bioluminecsence의 intensity를 일정하게 측정 할 수 있고, P phosphoreum을 고정하여 30분 후에 bioluminescence의 안정성을 가지므로 바로 측정할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다 독성에 민감하고 bioluminescence에 영향을 주지 않는 CMC의 농도(w/v)의 결정은 중요하며 1%(w/v) CMC 담체에 고정했을 때 bioluminescence의 유지가 가장 안정했으며, Cr 화합물에 대한 민감하게 반응하는 CMC 담체의 EC_50값ㅇ르 г값을 이용하여 산출했을 때 1% CMC 담체에 고정하였을 때 적은 독성 농도에서 민감한 bioluminescence의 감소를 볼 수 있었다. 그러므로 독성모니터용 P phosphoreun의 고정화 담체로 CMC의 1%(w/v)가 최적 농도이다. Bioluminescence of Photobacterium phosphoreum has been used for the detection of pollutants in the environment. Immobilization method was used to maintain the stability of bioluminescence of P. phosphoreum. Carboxymethylcellulose was investigated for immobilization of P. phosphoreum as a matrix without disturbance in bioluminescence emission. Maintenance of bioluminescence was determined from the P. phosphoreum immobilized on the various concentrations of carboxymethylcellulose. Relatively high bioluminescence intensity was observed with cells immobilized on 1%(w/v) carboxymethylcellulose. The effect of carboxymethylcellulose concentrations on the sensitivity of Cr-compounds including Na_(2)CrO_(4), K_(2)CrO_(4), CrO_(3), CrK(SO_(4))_(2) and CrCl_(3) to the bioluminescence intensity was investigated. The calculated EC_(50) showed that the linear relationship between such substances and bioluminescence.
